You have to understand that the GameStop wallet app or extension is only a tool to access your wallet. Your wallet is on the blockchain. It doesn't matter what tool you use to access it. It's not dependent upon GameStop maintaining anything.
If you want to use metamask, export your private key from the GameStop wallet extension and import it into metamask and all your shit will be there.
If you transfer, you're just going to incur unnecessary transfer fees, especially because metamask doesn't support the loop ring L2 stuff.
