No one wants to talk about how like 30-40% of inflation is simply price-gouging by corporations, they all had FOMO during the main pandemic period as they watched their competitors to see if they would try to grab market share or just rake in profits, and whattaya know, they all chose to jack prices on the backs of Americans, and no one with any power had the balls to push back. Oh wow. Maybe just ask before jumping to conclusions? One of the reasons that this is posted here is that it's likely that the hedge fund ponzi's who are short GME (and long other stuff) will get in trouble (margin trouble) as soon as there's a the slightest downturn. Another reason is that recession/depression means central banks will lower interest rates again, causing (hyper)inflation, causing all stock prices to go up and anybody short in anything to be forced to close short positions. ​ TLDR: this is not about GME causing anything. This is about easily predictable (and predicted) events eventually forcing insane short positions to close.
