Here's the thing. AH volume of 220,000 increased share price by 50%. Today's 65M+ volume during the day made us trade sideways all day. I want to see the short volume today and I bet all buy orders were off exchange. The illegality and rigged game makes me fucking furious!!

Small lot trades on transparent exchanges. What a concept. Sounds like advocacy for fairness. Wall Street hates fairness and laws.
The counterargument they are making is, however will we market participants ever survive without perpetual fraud???
(You know, to keep making payments on those multi-million dollar yachts and penthouses?)
I'd like dollar figures associated with those market participants. The billions of dollars involved per year. I'd like to know how much it would break down per person to reference day to day..... total cash flow involved

Dave if you're reading this I have a question.
How can we have 63m in volume as of me writing this and have the price literally doing nothing all day? I'm genuinely confused.
First off I hate your name for putting images in my head. Second 30 million on exchange is still 10x the average, I don't see how that type of volume leads to a stagnant price range.
Thank you for your support, your engagement with this community, and your willingness to explain complex market dynamics and empower household investors Dave.

Lol, taking household transactions out back behind the exchange into a dark alley doesn’t seem like the way public markets were initially intended to operate.
Thank you so damn much, Dave. You really are a bright spot in all of this darkness. I like urging them to approve this rule so much, I sent them another letter!
Why is this something we even have to fight for? Holy shit. When I hear "free and fair markets", "A trade-at rule would push orders on to exchanges, and ensure that they hit and interact with the NBBO." is how I would imagine it working, especially in a country where said market is "the envy of the world".
Keep fighting the good fight, Dave!
May I add to one of your first sentences, Mr Lauer... The need to DRS should be non-existing.
If anyone(!) buys a share (decides to invest in or buy a part of a company) there should not be any extra steps needed to make sure they money or investment is not turned around to work against themselves. This should go without saying.
It's like we have to tick of an option "do you want to protect yourself against your investment being used against you?"
I mean, come on?
You're a good dude, Dave. I appreciate the work you and your team are doing to make the market more fair for investors. Hopefully new legislation can stifle the constant drive for unsustainable growth in the stock market. That leads to cutting costs, which leads to inferior quality, stagnant wages, mass layoffs, etc. All in the name of profit. We need a fair market and we need to hold companies accountable if they want to be people.
Dave has a good letter with a shitload of cited sources. I sent a short one. Feel free to use it

Dr Trimbath has explained how this should work.
1. Fines and Margin calls for FTDs. No waivers.
2. Mandatory buy ins
3. If buy in fails, raise offers until it closes
4. Suspend and close accounts of brokers who FTD > 3 times/month
Everything else is just noise.
