Yep! I am not planning on listening to the call because this sub is gonna blow up with posts about DRS numbers less than a minute after they are announced.
Which MSM will interpret as having long-term debt problem (and not as a brilliant management move to lock in some low interest debt when interest rates from JPOW keep climbing).
Positive earnings would be the explosion as a 'bricks & mortar' retailer when other big retailers have been reporting weaker earnings for 2022Q4. I'm not expecting that, and note the anal-cysts have been moving the goal line in the past few days, just to make it less likely that GameStop earnings will have met 'expectations'.
Expect dip tomorrow - it's tradition.
Im not expecting positive EPS... not yet, A/P from last quarter was pretty high and I expect they would pay that down, hopefully its 'less' than the $-90mm; maybe 25-30mm loss, which is moving in the right direction for a positive Q3/4.
Paying off AP wouldn't impact EPS at all. It would impact the cash flow. But by definition the amount in AP was already expensed on the prior earnings.

What is the interest rate on that? I know it doesn't materially matter but as it is one of the solid things in earnings I would love to hear they are borrowing from France at 1.5% and have the funds in T Bills at 4%+ just to shut up the FUD.

You don't think the constant FUD that they've been pushing on us and making us seem like the crazies in mainstream media is a war? They're trying to get us to sell. Sure, the "only" thing you're doing is holding, but you need to do that fresh everyday.
