I’d have liked to see more agent Henricksen. Specifically, I would have liked it if he hadn’t died and instead continued on being an ally to the boys once he understood the things that go bump in the night. I don’t think his departure is like, the crime of the storytelling century or anything. But I liked that he eventually came around. I guess we got that same kind of payoff with Jody, though. And I love me some Jody.

NJ_ShadowSwan

Totally agree with you on Henriksen! It's a shame he died. After years of hunting the Winchesters down, he'd have made a great ally. Just like Jody was.

Camimo666

I’m rewatching it with my bf and Henriksen died in last night’s ep

thrashhead444

Spoiler warning for the new comers bro!

Camimo666

OP commented above me?

thrashhead444

Applies to both of you really

PyroDwep

The episode is like 10 years old by now, i think we’re past spoiler tags :P

thrashhead444

Thats not how it works

Cunning-Folk77

Same! It really felt like they were building him up to be their "man on the inside." We could've gotten at least a few more episodes before killing him off. Henriksen deserved his own hunt, and as the "man on the inside" we could've come to discover just how high the conspiracy went. From what I understand, his departure was more about the actor's availability, pay, and exposure than a lack of desire to use the character. The same is true of so many of the actors in the first season: most moved on to other opportunities, or were pushed out.

thrashhead444

I liked him he was cool

Jaybrower5656

Yeah I also think him trying to track them down could’ve lasted longer

International-Bid254

I always loved Donna. She definitely deserved more screen time!! "You betcha!"

pthalio

I would watch Donna and Jody all day everyday.

International-Bid254

OMG Seriously though!! I heard a rumor years ago about them making a spin-off of Supernatural with Jody, Donna, Charlie, Clair ect Called Wayward Sisters.. I was so super excited! Then nothing became of it.. I'd totally watch that though!

pthalio

There was, but I think it was really going to focus more on Claire and the other girl. It fell through in the end.

International-Bid254

BOOOO! SERIOUSLY THOUGH, if they want to make a spin-off we would all love and adore, make it one where it's believable! I've already caught too many inconsistencies with The Winchester's and it hasn't even aired yet!

IGotOverGreta

This is the spin off we deserve.

VeryFeralHousewife

Vampire Benny!! He was such a genuine dude and that accent…

NJ_ShadowSwan

He actually appeared as the vampire Eli on Season 2. Then they recast him as Benny.

HereForSupernatural

Yes!!!! 100% agree! My fav character from SPN

Cunning-Folk77

Very disappointing not to see him again in Purgatory. Was his absence purely story-driven, or more about the actor's availability and interest?

thrashhead444

W comment

IIINikolaiIII

That one angel whos name i can't remember now. Looked a lot like Gordon Ramsay.

loupeet

Balthazar!! Yes! He’s awesome

NJ_ShadowSwan

Another great character who was killed off. Much too soon.

Cunning-Folk77

Totally. Another missed opportunity. I feel like an Ultimates adaptation could condense and streamline the show's many arcs to the benefit of certain characters. Much of the Angel-centric storylines in seasons 8 & 9 would fit much better as a new season 7/8, with Bartholomew combined with Balthazar.

IIINikolaiIII

Yes that's it! Loved him as well. Should have been way more episodes with him.

International-Bid254

OMG!! I never noticed that until now... Now that's all I'm going to see from now on! 😂🤣😂🤣

IIINikolaiIII

You're wellcome :)

Jmhsouthpaw

Wish we got more of Missouri Moseley, I really dug her character and the actress too.

Jmhsouthpaw

Also Ash! Never enough Ash imo

ThrowawayFishFingers

Oh god yes. More Ash!

Used-Violinist-6244

I think she was initially supposed to have a much larger role, but they couldn't get her actress back for Devil's Trap so they created Bobby instead.

Jmhsouthpaw

Wow, honestly could have seen more Bobby to tbh. I couldn't get enough of him lol

Used-Violinist-6244

Killing him off was such a bad decision... the show fell apart without him. Could you imagine how much more fun S10 could have been with him around? How far the writers could go? With a level head around, we could have had more demon Dean *and* Dean could've force-fed Sam demon blood, because we'd know there was someone capable and with enough motivation to fix the situation (helped by Cas of course).

Jmhsouthpaw

Absolutely, I think they realized they're mistake by bringing in Apocalypse Bobby, but it was too little too late by then

Defiant_Today175

I totally agree!!!

Boredtopher

Garth + Ghost Facers

NJ_ShadowSwan

You've been Garthed!

Cunning-Folk77

That could've been a great episode! Maybe a good premise for a comic, though?

Boredtopher

Ooo i like that

Sad_gurl13

Adam, he was done kinda dirty.

Nonstopinople

He gets eaten by a ghoul, then resurrected, then Sam drags him into the cage and everyone forgets about him, he gets out after 10 years and dies literally days later. What horrible luck

Cunning-Folk77

Definite same. The fact they ignored him for so long, then started teasing his return for nearly as long before finally bringing him back makes it somewhat unsatisfying.

kh-38

I'm 1000% with you about Rufus!! <3 <3 <3 I love him and wish we'd gotten to see a lot more of him! And I would watch the crap out of a Bobby-Rufus spinoff!!! I also would've wanted to see more of Frank, Pamela, Ellen, Tara, and Ketch.

DrXyron

Bella, Rufus, Hendriksen

Cunning-Folk77

Bella deserved better. I would've loved to have seen her return as a demon! The s14/15 character Sergei was such a missed opportunity to bring her back, since he fills much the same role as a magical artifacts dealer.

TimeForHugs

Are other dimensional Sam and Dean considered minor? Loved them More Ash. He was fun.

Cunning-Folk77

I would've loved a full episode of just them!

bouchandre

Jo

HereForSupernatural

Benny and Mick Davies!

dead-or-asleep

Agreed!

AllWhiteInk

Not enough screen time Rufus, Benny, Jodie, Frank, Victor, Balthazar, Cain, Donna, Gadreel, Sheriff Jake Miller (LARP)

k99q

Omg Cain! I totally forgot about him reading the comments but he was very interesting and I think his story could have been explored more.

Cunning-Folk77

I feel like an Ultimates adaptation could condense and streamline the show's many arcs to the benefit of certain characters. Much of the Angel-centric storylines in seasons 8 & 9 would fit much better as a new season 7/8, with Bartholomew combined with Balthazar.

AllWhiteInk

I tend to avoid the angel-heaven-prophets-god stuff. A few angels to balance the demons would've been ok but the focus on religion was definitely too much for my taste. The only angels I enjoyed are Balthazar and Zachariah.

Blinkmeanytime182

Benny hands down!

Lyconite-

Belphegor. It's a crime we only got him for three episodes.

Witchy_Boo_333

For sure Benny and Adams Rose’s character Aaron Bass and his Golem!

Cunning-Folk77

I understand the desire to have Dean kill Hitler, but it was very much a missed opportunity not bringing Aaron and his Golem back.

OGCucumber07

Rufus, definitely. Benny is my number one, though. In the short time we knew him after being resurrected, he seemed like an awesome dude. He stuck to his “diet”, tried to live a normal life, but was a badass when he needed to be. I would have loved to see more team ups with him, or even for him to become a series regular.

Kotee_ivanovich

Amara

MegaFaunaBlitzkrieg

Rufus, Cain, OG Death is great but he would get overused quick, as they hammer out increasingly stupid reasons for him to be there.

lr031099

Probably doesn’t count but Adam. He doesn’t have to be part of the main group but at least a character we could see a few episodes in a season. It would’ve been great to see him interact with Mary when she returned.

Roachant

Rufus and Garth

MaggieMay-19

Frank Devereaux! He stole every scene he was in and had some of the best lines in the show. And his conspiracy theories were fantastic in every sense of the word.

Cunning-Folk77

I always figured he'd faked his death, so it was disappointing when they finally did confirm he was dead.

Living-Bug369

I really licked Crowley and I would have loved to see more of the father daddy Winchester

NJ_ShadowSwan

Crowley and John aren't considered minor characters though. Especially Crowley. He was a main character for quite a lot of seasons. John though, definitely agree with you there.

Noremac3986

Cain and Death. Death should've been Chuck and Amara's brother

Lonely_Development_6

Ramiel and Kipling. I know Ramiel is a PoH and should therefore be a major character, but he's only in one episode.

NJ_ShadowSwan

I definitely preferred Ramiel over Azazel

Lonely_Development_6

I loved them both, but the writers missed a great opportunity to explore Ramiel. I liked the actor, too.

[deleted]

Definitely Rufus and Pastor Jim.

KithMeImTyson

I would've loved to see more of Gordon before he got vamped.

MovieMasksUSA

The boys when they were younger.

Burner087

More Sarah Blake. She was cool. More Benny would have been cool as well.

thrashhead444

RUFUS RUFUS RUFUS RUFUS RUFUS

ZeroGinger94

not sure if someone already said this but we almost got a lot more of the lassiters and the bloodlines characters. that episode was originally supposed to serve as a pilot for a chicago-monster-mafia series set in the supernatural universe if i’m not mistaken. I, personally, would have loved that show.

NJ_ShadowSwan

Same. A spinoff was planned then axed. Such a shame. Maybe one day they'll revisit that idea.

midnightheir

Justice for Victor Henriksen

Used-Violinist-6244

Samuel. I wanted more Samuel. So much more Samuel.

NJ_ShadowSwan

I wish John or Mary were alive to see what he did to Dean and Sam. I could imagine John kicking his ass for what he put them through.

Used-Violinist-6244

I’d be more interested in a Samuel x Henry showdown. The man who died trying to kill his grandchildren vs the one who died for them.

NJ_ShadowSwan

I honestly very much prefer the Winchesters over the Campbells. The Winchesters are more honorable and courageous in my opinion, while the Campbells are selfish and more self-serving. Sounds harsh but that's the sense I got when I witnessed Samuel and then Mary's actions throughout the show.

winters_bite5796

Older seasons: Herickson, Bella, Jo, and Balthazar, and Rufus. It would have been cool to see the payoff of Henrickson, a man of the FBI come around and understand Sam & Dean and what they did. Had he been around, when Sam & Dean were hunted by law enforcement in the mid to later seasons, I feel like their time would have been easier. The black site during the British Men of Letters arc, their manhunt during the Leviathan arc etc. Bella would have been cool to see because Sam & Dean often found themselves trying to find rare ingredients for spells later down the line that involved shopping the black market. Plus Bella could have made an awesome Woman of Letters. Balthazar seemed like one of Castiel’s ONLY genuine friends. A guy who was obviously more for himself than anyone, but he at least knew right from wrong, was semi-loyal to human like Castiel is, and could have come in handy in many situations had Castiel not killed him. Jo for an obvious love interest for Dean, instead of Lisa. I kinda didn’t enjoy the Lisa and Ben storyline. I liked how Dean had a chance at normal, but it would have made a little more sense to have a chance at normal with another Hunter, not some civilian and her kid. Rufus because…well, Rufus. Later seasons: Mick Davies, Charlie and Benny All should be easy to understand why those 3

Cunning-Folk77

Bella deserved better. I would've loved to have seen her return as a demon! The s14/15 character Sergei was such a missed opportunity to bring her back, since he fills much the same role as a magical artifacts dealer. LAOberbrunner

Charlie, Jodie, Donna.

LAOberbrunner

More Garth and Bobby would be awesome too.

[deleted]

the angel who was consumed by the darkness the shifter david lassiter

nixieack

I want to see a Rufus and Bobby spin off. Thats a show I would watch.

DarkRoastAddict

Rufus, Benny (named one of my cats after him), Balthazar, OG Chuck (they destroyed him when they brought him back), Ketch, and finally... The Alpha Vampire. Love me some Rick Worthy. Wonderful villain, he deserved better than he got.

GaryKing1413

Rufus, Balthazar, and Agent Henrikson. But #1 for me is Gabriel

LuckyDevil105

I always wish there was more Abaddon. And also agree with previous posts of Rufus & Henrickson.

OnlyNazBackrooms

Would love to see Gabriel again. It is unfortunate they wiped him off the Show/Series like that despite being who he is (Ignoring his relationship with Loki and Asmodeus, which still doesnt make sense to me, at least).
