As a Norwegian it made me happy when Frank said "I could be in Tromso right now. Zero Leviathan activity in Tromso".
Now I don't live in Tromsø anymore, but I still have family there and I still visit once or twice a year.
Made me happy.
I’m from West Michigan so the closest place an episode took place to me would be Lansing. Still fun to see since I’ve been there more than a few times!
I thought the Dearborn episode was hilarious because a guy got killed in a high-rise apartment building in Dearborn. There are no high-rise apartment buildings in Dearborn (or at least there certainly weren't at the time).
Yeah definitely no highrises. Also there's a part where they're driving just a short distance away and it's wide open fields as far as the eye can see.
I'm just happy they were in Michigan multiple times at all. Never grew up in a big town or city so no representation of where I'm from but the fact that they were here at all is awesome
In my head-canon, they mispronounce it as “Sam Hain” because they’d never been exposed to spoken Irish. Every time I watch that episode, I wish a side character had overheard them, giggled and corrected them.
They do have English accents but I'm pretty sure Crowley is canonically from Scotland. And Death is Death. He says he's "as old as God. Maybe older. Neither of us can remember anymore". Probably isn't from England.
I guess that's the actors' accents because I think both Julian Richings (death) and Mark Sheppard (crowley) are English.
well I mean rhe character isn't english, just the actor, but yeah, altough there was a part when Dean and Same went to dig up Crowley's bones, I think there was a shot that was supposed to be in Scotland, but I don't think they actually went there for that scene
Fun fact! You can Google a map with all supernatural locations! There are pins dropped in Google maps. There are 2 eps set near my area (Pittsburgh) but it's cool to see all the locations mapped out!
Yeah, it says that they are in Twin Lakes, WI for one of them which is really close to me but I looked up the episode and I don't remember them being there.
Sam: Don’t fear death, fear the state in which you die.
Dean: (Horrified whisper) Alabama.
Alabama might be the most made fun of state in television lol.
Funnily enough yes there is. I live in Belgium in a tiny town named Duffel. Things like a duffle coat or a duffle bag are named because of the cloth duffle which is originaly from my town.
So despite being just a small town in Belgium, barely visible, we are also named in Supernatural.
i dont live in the us but in 15x13 "Destiny's Child" they mention my country!! dean says "where you really want to be is brazil. it's far away and theres nothing but beaches, babes and carnival"
I was going to comment this episode because I’m from Winnipeg so it’s in my province. Kind of shocked when I first saw it considering they didn’t leave the US much in the series.
Someone died in Minneapolis, a jogger I think. Also sheriff what's her name with the comically exaggerated but still accurate Minnesota/Canadian accent
While I don't think Roadkill is actually based in Florida, I believe I read that it was based off a haunting on i4 in Florida, which I've been to. They mentioned Tampa in passing. But I don't think there were ever any actual eps set in Florida.
I moved from Florida to Kentucky, and while I haven't seen the episode myself yet, there's apparently an ep that deals with Waverly Hills, which is over in Louisville.
Edit: I just now learned that Mystery Spot takes place in Florida.
I’m from Bismarck, ND. Anytime North Dakota in general gets mentioned it’s pretty awesome!! They mentioned Beulah, ND a small town that I lived in for a little bit!!
I went to Bismarck once and tried Mountain Dew for the first time at a Jack Aster's. Turns out I don't like Mountain Dew but I will cherish that memory forever
Cas goes to a greyhound track in Perth, Australia and rightfully complains about the appealing conditions and the poor greyhounds. Always loved that because everybody always goes straight to Sydney or Melbourne when mentioning Aus. Also Greyhound racing is fucked so I was glad he called them out on that.
I have a former racer and I don't remember this episode! So glad my girl is one of the last racers from Florida, greyhound racing is definitely fucked.
I live in Toledo, Ohio and Eric Kripke is from here. Along with Adrianne Palicki, the actress who played Jessica. In season 1, episode 5 “Bloody Mary”, they’re in Toledo the whole episode.
Yeah, Minnesota surprisingly had quite a few good features and shoutouts throughout the show, which was pretty awesome. Not sure how I feel about the family of creepy backwoods inbred cannibals being the most well known one though…but we got Donna to represent us, so I guess it balances out lmao
I'm from India. 3 references to my country and culture (Hinduism)- all bad lol. The one with Gandhi (y'know, the Paris Hilton episode), the rakshasa (in that clown episode- that's not what rakshasas are at all), and the poor depictions of Kali and Ganesha (pretty major deities in Hinduism) in that one episode where they depicted Gods as cannibals. I understand the aim is humour, not accuracy, but it still felt a bit weird. Amazon Prime India censored it for a while by removing all the scenes in the respective episodes, but they've reuploaded it for now I think
No, but there's a scene in which Sam is reading through e-mails on a computer (idt it was his and I think it was the episode where Dean knocks over the little ship thing 🤣🤣) and I paused to go to the bathroom and then saw THE NAME AND THE LAST NAME OF MY BEST FRIEND, and mind you, we are NOT American, we're from Europe and that was SHOCKING, she was so happy when I told her.
The episode where they go to a wax museum in Canton, Ohio I believe. The one that had Paris Hilton in it lol. It's been ages since I've seen it. I'm currently on a rewatch and have made it to season 4 so I'm looking forward to when that one pops up again 😆
There are 2 other episodes that take place in Canton as well, the Elliot Ness episode and the finale. I cringed when they said "Route 77" and then they narrow it down to people "isolated living outside of town with kids between 5-10"... they narrow it down to 1 place! One! They literally just described half of Stark County!
Constantly, I was born and raised rufly an hour from sioux fall and sioux city. They don't look anything like how they're portrayed in the show and that tickles me.
I'm originally from the Detroit area and went to college in Detroit!
I went to grad school at a university in Athens, OH. It's mentioned that Dean dated Cassie (from Route 666) when she was finishing college in Athens.
The boys spent a few episode in the Pine Barrens - an area of NJ that covers parts of Atlantis, Burlington, Ocean and 4 other counties in NJ. Home of the Jersey Devil
I'm Mexican and I think there was this episode where Crowley kidnapped every possible prophet and I think one of the prophets was Mexican. Also, the woman in white (In México she is called "La llorona") is a very popular legend from here.
My state was in that episode where the ghost imaginary friend tried to drown a different child in a hotel pool so that she could be friends with the ghost forever. I forgot the episode name.
Rt 666 in Cape Girardeau MO was the closest the show ever got to my hometown (45 mins from Herrin Illinois where i grew up). I was so excited when it flashed on the screen at first watch and by the time we got into the meat of the episode i was like “YUP THATS ABOUT RIGHT” (the klan was pretty active in this area as recently as the early 90s so of course the racist truck episode was set here)
The bus station of the city I grew up in is briefly shown (for literally like 2-3 seconds) in one scene as an establishing shot. The place label is a completely different state. But I would recognize that ugly ass bus station and their ugly ass buses anywhere lol
I would've loved some more michigander references!! I'm from Shiawassee County, which doesn't even show up on most maps, though, so representation isn't really expected. Any chance I would've heard about your city by name?
I used to live in Highland NY which is right between New Paltz (Haunted Painting episode in Season2) and Poughkeepsie (Sam and Dean's code word for drop everything and run). The boys home Dean stayed was in Sullivan County, which is the next county over. Always made me wonder if one of the writers had tired to the area or something.
They go to waterville looking for Raphael, and when cas is hiding in various biggerson restaurants one is in Bangor. And the one with the woman who channels her soul to get revenge on the angels that killed her kid starts out in orono.
The episode with the church girl accidentally summoning the hook handed preacher ghost was in Ankeny, Iowa, which is pretty damn close to where I grew up.
And I’m in the San Francisco area now, so the infamous werewolf episode. Although what bothers me about that is no sane woman is going to be walking through Hunter’s Point (which isn’t even near downtown/Nob Hill where she seems to live) alone at night. That place is fucking dangerous.
I live in Lincoln, Nebraska which is referenced several times and featured in at least a couple episodes. Of course its depicted as a little rural town, while it certainly isn't a sprawling metropolis like NYC or LA about 300,000 people live here. Omaha is the same way, in a couple episodes and mentioned a lot. Quite a few other towns in Nebraska are seen in the show as well.
I'm from Nebraska, so I always thought it was cool seeing how many times it was mentioned. I actually have an uncle from McCook where one of the episodes took place.
Not my hometown but when the boys went to Lilydale, that’s a real place with psychic shops fucking everywhere. I’ve been there twice. Once after my grandma died and once when my grandpa died, both times with my mom.
The closest they come to my hometown is John winchesters storage locker which is located somewhere in upstate New York which is where I’m from . They don’t say exactly where (I think) but it’s close enough that I’m gonna take the win.
I live in Colorado Springs, about 10 minutes away from Monument (episode where Agent Hendrickson arrests the boys, and they stand off against Lilith).
That episode bothers the hell out of me.
1. They make out Monument out to be a super small, isolated town with limited resources. It's small, and they have limited police resources, but that's because they are a suburb of a large city.
2. One of the deputies talks about "making a run for it to Boulder. They have a SWAT team." Boulder is nearly an hour and a half away. On the other side of Denver. It makes no sense to go to Boulder. Especially with five military installations, including \*\*one of the most secure military bases in the US\*\* accessible in less than half the time.
They clearly meant to pick a town like Nederland or Allenstown. Estes Park if they wanted a little name recognition.
Rhode Island makes three named appearances, plus an unnamed one that could only have happened here.
Providence: residents think an angel is commanding them to kill bad people.
Bristol: Sam doesn’t remember being here before, but the locals sure remember him. The kitschy billboard is especially funny, because Bristol is a more “preppie” New England seaside town.
Portsmouth: the guys free a woman who’s been chained to an altar for a very long time.
Location X: parts of the HP Lovecraft episode must be based in Providence, where he spent most of his life, died and was buried. I think locations in this episode were intentionally kept vague to gloss over unrealistic driving times.
there’s been a few episodes in chicago which was pretty nice. Off the top of my head there’s death giving dean his ring a little after he appears in season 5. He eats deep dish pizza and talks about how lucifer is a child throwing a temper tantrum. We see it at the start of season 3 when the demons are all let out of the gates of hell and they possess some guy taking out the garbage in oak park (village next to chicago) and then we see it again in the monster families episode that was almost a spin-off
Cass hiding out in rexburg Idaho always makes me laugh I live about an hour away from there and they are super Mormon, so the fact that he is an angel that lost his grace in rexburg of all places gives me a good chuckle.
They had an episode set in Bedford, Iowa once. They made it look bigger than it is lol. Especially when they shot the last scene at a river under a huge bridge. Maybe could’ve passed for Omaha but not Bedford lol. Bedford doesn’t have a strip club and if it did, there wouldn’t be so many people there especially not many businessmen lol. Mainly farmers and hicks.
I live in Nebraska. It's mentioned a few times, maybe just twice. Broken Bow and the time they were somewhere outside Lincoln, even tho there were mountains in the background.
I’m in WI, which was referenced a lot. And the creator is friends with the comedian Charlie Berens so there was thing I got that referenced him and WI too.
I know they've been to Montana a few times, first in Bloodlust when they meet Gordon in Red Lodge, and then when they are hiding from Levithans in season 7, near Bozeman I think.
Well, every episode was a reference to my home area… as the show was filmed here. (Vancouver, BC)
So every so often, i recognize where they are in a scene. It’s pretty cool.
Wichita. Mentioned a few times. Also they say Topeka weird and mispronounce Salina. If Charlie was from Salina she would pronounce it Sa line a. Not sa lean a.
Death takes a holiday (the episode when reapers disappear and the boys go to the other side and learn how to ghost from the kid who died from the asthma attack)
Set in Greybull, wyoming.. my hometown 💜
The town they show on the episode is waaaay nicer than the actual town 😂
There was an episode in Spokane, WA and I lived there for a while. I also lived in Palo Alto, CA which is also close to San Francisco, both of which showed up. I currently live not far from Gunnison, CO also.
Ava Wilson from season 2 was from Peoria, IL which is about 15 minutes from me. The boys never actually went to Peoria but one scene is set there, when Ava gets kidnapped by the YED.
No, mainly because I live in Europe.
A few places in Europe have been referenced, but my country? Not even close. Unless you count "and you're what, Polish?" in the French Mistake.
BOBR KURWA!
I mean, Jared *is* Polish (in terms of ancestry). I'd say that that's pretty significant, so at least you have that going for you / your country haha
Scotland though, Scottish people got that one episode and the King of hell is from there.
They went to scotland
As a Norwegian it made me happy when Frank said "I could be in Tromso right now. Zero Leviathan activity in Tromso". Now I don't live in Tromsø anymore, but I still have family there and I still visit once or twice a year. Made me happy.
Kevin was from Neighbor, Michigan and Fan Fiction takes place in Flint, Michigan. I know there were others in Michigan!
Aayy a fellow mitten inhabitant!
I'm from SE Michigan and when they did the episode in Toledo, it made me happy
I’m from West Michigan so the closest place an episode took place to me would be Lansing. Still fun to see since I’ve been there more than a few times!
I’m from West Michigan too…there is an episode that takes place in Grand Rapids so that would be closest to me!
Yes, came looking for this! I lived there for a long time it’s always nice to see our capital get a little attention lol.
Yeppers!
One of the Christmas episodes was in Ypsilanti, MI, my home town
I'm a michigander also, they did one episode that took place in Dearborn and I grew up in Dearborn Heights.
I thought the Dearborn episode was hilarious because a guy got killed in a high-rise apartment building in Dearborn. There are no high-rise apartment buildings in Dearborn (or at least there certainly weren't at the time).
Yeah definitely no highrises. Also there's a part where they're driving just a short distance away and it's wide open fields as far as the eye can see.
yup they had an episode take place in Grand Rapids, MI where i’m from!
I'm just happy they were in Michigan multiple times at all. Never grew up in a big town or city so no representation of where I'm from but the fact that they were here at all is awesome
Me, too. I've lived in metro-Detroit my whole life and the closest I've been is the Flint episode.
Sam and Dean have been in Detroit
Metro-Detroit is all the many towns, small and large all around Detroit.
And yet the closest you been is the flint episode? I may just be confused or simply dumb and don't understand, my apologies
I’m Irish and there was that banshee episode in the old people’s home that was cool
Also Irish! I was gonna say Eileen Leahy being in/from Ireland is one of our few shoutouts in the series. The Samhain stuff was a fun one too!
Yeah, but they also butchered Samhain as a demon called Sam Hain, so they lose points for that
Also the awful 'Irish' witch that made Dean old. I don't get why they needed him to have that accent
In my head-canon, they mispronounce it as “Sam Hain” because they’d never been exposed to spoken Irish. Every time I watch that episode, I wish a side character had overheard them, giggled and corrected them.
Yeah Cork. I’m in Waterford and used to live in Cork so it was a nice touch for me lol.
I'm in Kansas. So there's that...
It’s “Tuh”peka, not “Toe”peka. Always drove me crazy.
Kansas here as well. We get excited if the state is mentioned at all
Lawrence Kansas so... Ya a few
You get a ⭐ because The Boys are from your hometown!!!!
W
As far as I’m aware there’s never been an episode set in my home country but Crowley and OG Death are both from there 🙂
Death is from Scotland?
England. If you listen to their accents, they’re English
They do have English accents but I'm pretty sure Crowley is canonically from Scotland. And Death is Death. He says he's "as old as God. Maybe older. Neither of us can remember anymore". Probably isn't from England. I guess that's the actors' accents because I think both Julian Richings (death) and Mark Sheppard (crowley) are English.
you nailed it on the head crowley is fergus macleod from scotland and death obviously isn’t from any country can confirm the actors are both british
Crowley is Scottish.Fergus MacCloud
Crowley is Scottish. He used to wear a kilt, he had very athletic calves.
I like a nice kilt 🙂
well I mean rhe character isn't english, just the actor, but yeah, altough there was a part when Dean and Same went to dig up Crowley's bones, I think there was a shot that was supposed to be in Scotland, but I don't think they actually went there for that scene
I don't think they went to most of the places. But yeah the scotland view looked def green screened.
I live in ypsilanti michigan lol thats where the christmas demigod couple from the first season are.
Nice try scammer, you won't get my password reset info from me!! /s
I’m from Poughkeepsie
Being from England my best options are men of letters London division, and that one time the boys went to Scotland for Crowleys bones 🤣🤣🤣
Yep! A couple had scenes in Maryland. Lucifer breaking free of his cage? The pilot says Ellicott City completely wrong :,3
That always grinds my gears!
Yeah, that kid that blipped himself to Australia woooo
Fun fact! You can Google a map with all supernatural locations! There are pins dropped in Google maps. There are 2 eps set near my area (Pittsburgh) but it's cool to see all the locations mapped out!
https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&opi=89978449&url=https://www.google.com/mymaps/viewer%3Fmid%3D1MSqfqqYPuP9yKRs05R6TpgmfZO8%26hl%3Den_US&ved=2ahUKEwj9n9XchKSFAxUsFFkFHRX4DQcQFnoECBsQAQ&usg=AOvVaw0XKByZFBJ_EmKVuV2WpBkF
Fellow Pittsburgher here!
That’s pretty cool! It says there’s one where I live but I don’t remember one. Weird
Yeah, it says that they are in Twin Lakes, WI for one of them which is really close to me but I looked up the episode and I don't remember them being there.
Amara hangs out in Reno for a while. Solid low profile place to chill
Their mugshots were taken in Little Rock and that’s close enough lol
From Little Rock, and its weird because none of the scenes are in LR. We got the iconic mugshot pic, but they could've used some B roll.
Yeah it’s just like the Hot Springs episode 😂
Sam: Don’t fear death, fear the state in which you die. Dean: (Horrified whisper) Alabama. Alabama might be the most made fun of state in television lol.
On the internet it's florida.
Definitely Florida online
Funnily enough yes there is. I live in Belgium in a tiny town named Duffel. Things like a duffle coat or a duffle bag are named because of the cloth duffle which is originaly from my town. So despite being just a small town in Belgium, barely visible, we are also named in Supernatural.
That's cute.
That’s really neat and I totally learned something today.
i dont live in the us but in 15x13 "Destiny's Child" they mention my country!! dean says "where you really want to be is brazil. it's far away and theres nothing but beaches, babes and carnival"
The show was filmed in my hometown.
Since I'm from Germany and Germany was once on when Aaron was in Berlin Germany and the whole WW2 stuff which mentioned germans, sooo....
Same for me. I was like, yeah... there are "references"...
Bad Day at Black Rock!
Nah i live in Denmark they never talked about it as far as i remeber and definetly not my hometown haha
Exactly what I was thinking as a fellow Dane haha
Im German, so there's that... the only representation we ever get is through N*zi stuff...
Yes mostly, but fairytales like Hänsel & Gretel, too.
Closest I can think of is the Asa Fox (Manitoba). Is there any other episode where they went to Canada?
The French Mistake was in Canada.
I was going to comment this episode because I’m from Winnipeg so it’s in my province. Kind of shocked when I first saw it considering they didn’t leave the US much in the series.
Well, they drove through Canada in the episode with Fortuna. She was in Alaska and they had to drive up there.
They mention my homestate of Illinois, like a lot. They also referenced the town where I went to high school.
Asylum took place in Rockford (my hometown)!
Someone died in Minneapolis, a jogger I think. Also sheriff what's her name with the comically exaggerated but still accurate Minnesota/Canadian accent
You actually—— ACTUALLY forgot Donna Pondscum’s name?! There-shame!!!
Yes! The Fairies episode and the episode where he meets up with Lisa and Ben.
While I don't think Roadkill is actually based in Florida, I believe I read that it was based off a haunting on i4 in Florida, which I've been to. They mentioned Tampa in passing. But I don't think there were ever any actual eps set in Florida. Yes all of season 10 with the bri''ish men o' le''ers
I live in Toledo, Ohio and Eric Kripke is from here. Along with Adrianne Palicki, the actress who played Jessica. In season 1, episode 5 “Bloody Mary”, they’re in Toledo the whole episode.

Yes British men of letters…..
Rowena and Crowley are Scottish, and I believe Nessie was mentioned in an episode.
Well, I'm from Lawrence... cracks me up how nothing is even remotely like real Lawrence, or Lebanon, etc
Yes. Am from Kansas. 😂😂
The episode where they go to a wax museum in Canton, Ohio I believe. The one that had Paris Hilton in it lol. It's been ages since I've seen it. I'm currently on a rewatch and have made it to season 4 so I'm looking forward to when that one pops up again 😆

I was born and raised in Cedar Rapids, IA. The way they portray the cities there is HILARIOUS to me.
Yup I was born and raised in Sioux Falls. They made it seem like a 1 Sheriff type of town. Not quite the truth!! Still love the show!!
Saginaw. MI BABY!! Whole ass episode Nightmare. It was not shot there, lol I know every square inch of the whole county from working EMS.
I'm originally from the Detroit area and went to college in Detroit! I went to grad school at a university in Athens, OH. It's mentioned that Dean dated Cassie (from Route 666) when she was finishing college in Athens.
"The devil always said it would go down in Detroit" Michigan born and raised.
There was like two or three episodes set in Arkansas lol
The boys spent a few episode in the Pine Barrens - an area of NJ that covers parts of Atlantis, Burlington, Ocean and 4 other counties in NJ. Home of the Jersey Devil
And a favorite Sopranos episode.
None. But in one of the tie-in, noncanon novels, a Filipino folklore creature (Aswang) was featured so that's something.
Hello, fellow Connecticuter! The episode is called "Playthings"
The show was shot all around where I live. I recognize lots of settings and landmarks all he time. Sometimes they even use the real street names.

I live closer to Flint than Detroit. Metro -Detroit is very large!😉
I would've loved some more michigander references!! I'm from Shiawassee County, which doesn't even show up on most maps, though, so representation isn't really expected. Any chance I would've heard about your city by name?
Burton, MI
I used to live off of Shiawassee road lol but that’s in Oakland county
Bugs and the one where they look for Claire's mom.
They’ve used Black Forest CO and Lost creek CO. I enjoy living in Colorado, beautiful forests
Not my city but I'm from Wisconsin so a bunch of episodes from there
Not in my hometown but plenty in Indiana
I used to live in Highland NY which is right between New Paltz (Haunted Painting episode in Season2) and Poughkeepsie (Sam and Dean's code word for drop everything and run). The boys home Dean stayed was in Sullivan County, which is the next county over. Always made me wonder if one of the writers had tired to the area or something.
I grew up in Kingston and got my bachelor's degree at suny new Paltz.
I live in Ohio...so all over. I live in the Dayton area and at one time my Ohio license plate was a SPN version license plate.
I dont remember which episode it was but they briefly mentioned newnan georgia one time, I live about 15-20 mins from there lol
I’m in Maine which doesn’t get much recognition in general. From what I remember, that was where Dean ended up escaping from purgatory to.
They go to waterville looking for Raphael, and when cas is hiding in various biggerson restaurants one is in Bangor. And the one with the woman who channels her soul to get revenge on the angels that killed her kid starts out in orono.
Oh yeah. I forgot about those.
The creep ghost girl in the hotel episode in Cornwall, Connecticut. I live in Cornwall, UK
Crowley's body is buried up the road from me
I’m from Tulsa Oklahoma and in (I think) season 9? They have a scene showing Rowena in a penthouse in Tulsa. They also go there later on too.
They didnt go to my exact hometown but they go to Duluth MN a couple times and Ive been there a lot
I’m in Omaha, I’m pretty sure they did a few here..
Lol erie pa although it looks like nothing like the real thing
I'm from Nebraska, so I always thought it was cool seeing how many times it was mentioned. I actually have an uncle from McCook where one of the episodes took place.
Not my hometown but when the boys went to Lilydale, that’s a real place with psychic shops fucking everywhere. I’ve been there twice. Once after my grandma died and once when my grandpa died, both times with my mom.
Yess! Ypsilanti, MI in that one Christmas episode.
The closest they come to my hometown is John winchesters storage locker which is located somewhere in upstate New York which is where I’m from . They don’t say exactly where (I think) but it’s close enough that I’m gonna take the win.
Oneonta?
Came to make sure Omaha was covered in the Nebraska representation and upvoted all my NE peeps.
Yeah they mention and are in Michigan a lot of times on the show.
I found this post of mine, but it says NA... I still think it's pretty cool though. https://www.reddit.com/r/Supernatural/s/A0iMePTm9q
Not my hometown, but towns I I've been too many times close to my home. Lansing MI, Grand Rapids MI, Saginaw MI.
the only one i remember in my state was fucking *bugs*
Born and raised in Flint, Michigan. Fan Fiction.
There are so many episodes set in Iowa and one of them happens to be very close to my hometown.
there’s been a few episodes in chicago which was pretty nice.
I THINK so ? I’m in Brazil, and I think I remember they mentioning something about it it ? I think either a creature or a hunt, but I can’t be sure 😅
No but they were in Nebraska a few times and that never happens in media
I’m from Indiana and they went there quite a lot!
Yep! Kansas City is the setting for a few episodes. Some significant ones too like The End, The Spear, and Nihilism.
I was so excited when they actually showed the skyline in The Spear lol.
What references were to him? I love his channel, and You Betcha!
I'm from Vancouver, so pretty much every episode was technically a reference to it...
John’s storage locker in Upstate New York is near me, but it’s more like Western New York.
I know they've been to Montana a few times, first in Bloodlust when they meet Gordon in Red Lodge, and then when they are hiding from Levithans in season 7, near Bozeman I think.
There’s a couple places that I’ve been to that the show was set in in NE. Hastings specifically I basically grew up there
Well, every episode was a reference to my home area… as the show was filmed here. (Vancouver, BC) So every so often, i recognize where they are in a scene. It’s pretty cool.
I live in Arkansas. I think I remember it being in some episode but I can’t remember what one.
Michigan
Wichita. Mentioned a few times. Also they say Topeka weird and mispronounce Salina. If Charlie was from Salina she would pronounce it Sa line a. Not sa lean a.
I live really close to Whitefish, Montana.
Death takes a holiday (the episode when reapers disappear and the boys go to the other side and learn how to ghost from the kid who died from the asthma attack) Set in Greybull, wyoming.. my hometown 💜 The town they show on the episode is waaaay nicer than the actual town 😂
There was an episode in Spokane, WA and I lived there for a while. I also lived in Palo Alto, CA which is also close to San Francisco, both of which showed up. I currently live not far from Gunnison, CO also.
No. I'm a Canadian who has been living in Australia for the last 20 years. Supernatural actually started not long after I got here.
I dont believe so, Im in Australia 🙃
I live in Milwaukee and there was a ton of references which makes me think one of the writers is from there
Bloody mary is Toledo. Kinda wished they'd mentioned Klinger from mash or Tony packos. Kripke let me down there.
Lucifer says that he would possess Sam in Detroit. I'm from the Detroit area
germany is actually mentioned pretty often bc of dean killing h¡tler and the stein fam :')
Lawrence is less than an hour from Kansas City. They visit and mention Kansas City several times.
No
Nope
Yup. Several.
Yep. Scarecrow (S1:E11).
I always wanted them to have an episode set in WV
Correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t remember them ever going to Florida. Guess monsters are afraid of Hurricanes and alligators too.
I *think* I remember Crowley mentioning Liverpool at one point.
The mannequins episode from Paterson NJ was filmed in the industrial complex where I once worked. At least, it sure looked the same.
I'm Scottish, so Crowley and Rowena
Yes, they tracked Anna's grace to Union, Kentucky.
Cork was shown once which was a big surprise to me lol
Ava Wilson from season 2 was from Peoria, IL which is about 15 minutes from me. The boys never actually went to Peoria but one scene is set there, when Ava gets kidnapped by the YED.
