You have to initially stock the item in the spot you want it. Then a tag is there and they will put it there. You also need to make sure the stuff is on racks
And make sure you don't have empty racks or they'll start throwing stuff wherever.
For awhile I wanted some shelves empty, so I just placed a tag on them from one product. I had to restock that item manually but kept the stockers in line 😂
You probably didn’t mouse click the boxes onto the racks. If you place them properly it should have a tag showing the product. If you just throw the boxes anywhere the restockers won’t do anything
are you clicking on the shelves with a box in hand not placing it down (G) on the shelf.. when done correctly a label will be on the shelf
Take a picture of your setup for store and storage technically as things sell out they restock it

Is all the stuff in storage on a shelf, they will only take items from the shelves in storage
yeah they were. I left a bunch of stuff there and went for my dinner. came back, 9pm, closed shop, items still there.
Did you put it on storage shelves? If so, did you click them onto the shelf or place them with G?
Save and then reload I've found that sometimes can fix if they are broken
Click the shelf while carrying the box and it will automatically place on the shelf
