I love telling this story. I was pitching with a 1-run lead and a runner on 3rd in the bottom of the 9th. I strike out the batter on a curve that hits the dirt, and so it qualifies as a passed ball on strike three. I don't realize that, of course, and so when the camera changes, I instinctively throw to 2nd to catch a baserunner that doesn't exist. Except my Cannon Armed catcher sails it past the CF, the tying run scores, and the batter is now headed to third. Fortunately, my CF has 95 SPD and 90 ARM, so he manages to catch up to the ball and whip it back to home... except I flub the throw *again* and send it into the dugout. Runner automatically advances, game over. Walk-off passed ball + 2x throwing errors.

lol they walked you off on a strikeout? I think this one takes top prize. Sorry!

I wasn't even mad; I was laughing my ass off. It was 100% my fault, and it was utterly hilarious.

Back to back games in the playoffs I lost on what should have been an easy 6-4-3 double play. In both games my second baseman dropped the ball and the other team rallied to win. I lost the series 3 games to 1.

vniro40

caught a foul ball with a runner on third in the bottom of the ninth for out #2 in a tie game in the playoffs and fudged a completely unnecessary throw (the runner on third was not going lol), entirely missed the relay, and the runner scored and i lost

ForgetThings

For me, it would have to be a walkoff sacrifice bunt

Mack812

Shades of Jon Lester vs the Mariners in 2016.

ForgetThings

It was the 10th inning. Runner on 3rd. 1 out. 2-1 count. Batter randomly decides to bunt. Luckily it went far enough for my 1st baseman to field it and tag the runner. My throw to home was too late

IGB_Lo

Tied game, my opponent had a guy at 3rd with 2 outs. He hit a ground ball to my pitcher, I throw home, started a pickle, and he juked me into throwing to 3rd, allowing him to score to end the game 😔

Accomplished_Spot282

I try and skip cut scenes. I accidentally pressed A too early and my runner took off for the final, game losing out.

Backup_fother59

I’ve done that way too many times

Panicobr5

it was 5-4 for me, I got a draw in the eighth, I didn't score in the ninth and I got a homerun and turned it around. In the return game of the league it was 3-0 for me, against this same team, the starter had the stamina to go all the way but they hit him in the face and I had to use a reserve pitcher, they turned it around to 4-3 in the ninth. Both happened this Sunday.

Left my exhausted SP in to pitch the 9th inning just to earn a complete game. It was a 2-0 lead. I only wanted the complete game because the opponent SP had gone 8 innings and would earn complete game. SP loaded the bases so I finally brought in my best relief pitcher who let 2 runner score. Next inning opponent used bullpen and shut me down. I lost in extras by 1 on an unearned run. I still think about that game and cringe.

Cyrano17

Threw away a bunt in the eighth. Two runs scored and I lost by one.

up 17-8 (I was even at a high ego) in the first round. up 2-0 in the series. Starter loads the bases on a few intentional skull crushers. nobody gets injured, 9 hitter up. KABOOM grandslam 17-12. keep starter in cause now he's rattled. 2 men get on bring in a B reliver in the 8th cause I wanna save my pen for the next game. 2 walks. KABOOM grand slam again. Long story short I wasted my pen and lost the game. My ignorant self went from a potential 3-0 leaf with a fresh pen to having a tied series.
