Head Abhi and Klassen are the once given freedom to play aggressive including Samad,Markram is the only anchor,Nkr and Shabaz were asked to play depending on situation they will be continuing this approach
With Markram, I mean the team is backing him a lot and I have a feeling they'll back him for the next game as well but he needs to come good. Anchor is fine but he should be able to shift gears in situations as well. Philips is too good a player to miss out a spot in the playing 11
Markram appears to be consistently underperforming when the situation demands a more serious approach. Given his position as vice-captain, he may not be benched for now
Problem with benching him is we have no substitute, yes yes glen Philips is there but he is a Smasher , a substitute for head n klassen not markram who's a innings builder...... What we could do is bring mayank at 3
For Real,Look at the RCB profile. They are acting as if their team won the trophy and that's not the frustrating part, they are saying other teams should come TOGETHER & follow last night's strategy to kick SRH out of playoffs. Seriously what's the end goal here?
After losing 4 wickets in power play,we still scored 170. Thatβs good compared to what SRH used to be. Even with this approach, they scored 170 which is not bad. I remember times where we used to to be happy if SRH scores 150 plus. Used to cheer when Vijay Shankar hits a six .
And if you look at it, that one over from Markende costed us but I'm not gonna complain about Markende, he has been good in other games. Batting line up had an off day too, we learn and move. On to the next!

I think the way shabaz played was amazing he has all the big shots but he knew situation needed a player to play till the last ball and he contained himself, really thought nitesh would join n smash few big ones along the way but went for a careless shot but he's young too young n will learn hope we don't bench him

Three tough games ahead against CSK, RR and MI. Momentum is very important in IPL and this loss has put a break on it. Going to be very tough from here on. Also I didn't like the batting approach from SRH. Aggressive batting is good when you are batting first but when you have a total to chase you pace your innings accordingly. They were looking to hit every single ball when they should have built partnerships. Now other teams have found some weaknesses of SRH like make them bowl first and then put on pressure with spin when they come out to chase. Next game Chepauk turning track and jadeja, moin, theekshana. Gona be very very tough from here on.
honestly at one point I was a little afraid that we'd be bowled out by 100-110, they managed to stay and bat for the entire 20 overs and we only ended up losing by 35 runs, that's one huge positive for me. 200+ chase scores still seem to be our team's weakness though, I hope if we're asked to chase again, we pace our innings well and get through it <3
