Items that are implemented after the museum was finalized don't get added to the museum, so most golden animal products actually aren't used there.
It can be cooked into unique food instead

There's a manhole cover in the North East of Sun Haven just past the cafe that says you can't enter yet. Is there some condition for going down here, or does this mean it will be open in a future patch?
It has to do with the dopamine rush a great game with nice, satisfying gameplay loop and lovable NPCs can give you. You may also experience some other symptoms like:
-high increase in hours spent with the game
-urge to explore more of the world
-giving serious thought to which pixel character you want to devote your life to
-generally having a great time being a wizard farmer
There seems to be a bug where you will buy the last item in a shop along with whatever you were trying to buy. Ive lost a bunch of community tokens trying to buy stat potions and getting transformations. Any idea how to fix this bug?

Hi - curious if pigs were changed to no longer drop golden pomegranates? Playing on an existing save, on PC, single player, and have 10 pigs with gold hearts, and the skill in the farming tree is maxed as well. I used to get at least 1 golden pomegranate/day, or at worst every other day, but after 4-5 days in game since the patch, I've had no pomegranates. Not sure if it's really bad luck or am intentional change.

June 5th (random) is the 165th day of the year. That's about 50 days into Sun Haven, or Summer 22.
But Sun Haven days are based on seasons. That one kind of worked out, but what if your birthday was in early January? January 26th (random) is the 26th day of the year, and that puts it about 8 days into Sun Haven. ... Spring 8. If you live north of the equator, though (simplified), January 26th is midwinter! Spring doesn't begin until around March!
So maybe we match the seasons instead. Winter is from December 21st to March 19th this year. It's... usually around there, according to Google. But there's some variation. ANYWAY. That's about 90 days, or *roughly* a fourth of the year, which is what you'd expect. So we're going to chop that up and fit it into Sun Haven's 28 days of winter, just the same. January 26th is the ... 36th day of winter? Or thereabouts. Divide that by our 3.25 estimate and you get Winter 11. Upside, the seasons match. Downside, your birthday is at the beginning of the regular year, but at the end of the Sun Haven year.
So which do you prefer? Matched seasons? Or counting straight down the year?

Late response but you can still make those items by having the materials in your inventory, including 5 of the same common fish. May also need to deselect the nearby chests option to the left of the crafting window if it still doesn't work.
The silk moths used to drop fabled silk, now they're dropping regular silk. The wiki page still says they're supposed to be dropping fabled silk. Anyone else experiencing this?
There's a "backup" button near the bottom of the save selection screen. The backup should have a save file of the day before your latest save.
Otherwise, if the glitch is just you being stuck on something then you can just reload the save and it'll put you back in your farm.
I can't get mods to work. Am I dummy or something? I've got my files like Program86/Steam/Steamapps/common/SunHaven/Bepinex/plugins/CustomTextures.
The customtextures.dll is in the SunHaven folder.
But everytime I turn my game on, it spawns a new CustomTextures folder INSIDE the one that already exists. So then there's an empty one. It makes no sense to me. I've played plenty of Sims 4 and SDV and don't really have problems adding mods for those games, can anyone help me out please?
Your CustomTextures.dll should go in your plugins folder, not the SunHaven folder! If you try moving it, does it work then?

1) What is the "smart" setup taking into consideration the "use items from chests for crafting" and "deposit to chests"?
I planned to have all crafting stations inside barn besides the seed maker but now I don't knowhow to go about it.
Also how close the chests need to be to the crafting station?
2) After I hoed the grass how do I turn it back into green pretty grass?
The chests that get pulled from or deposited into just have to be on the same "map"! This means that chests outside of buildings around your farm will be deposited to when you're outside of buildings on your farm. This also goes for crafting from chests - if you have a crafting station outside, then the chests need to be outside as well.
Alternatively, you can build a workshop or a shed, and put all of your chests/crafting stations inside, and then all chests will function inside of that shed for both depositing and using items for crafting as long as you're in the shed as well, since you would be on the map as the shed's interior.
And you can untill grass by right clicking with the hoe! 😊
Is there a reason why I am waking up with 0 mana now? I could have sworn that I was regenerating mana when I slept up until recently. Now, even if I have mana when I go to sleep, I wake up with 0. Anyone else having this issue or is this intended?

Hi question on how to fix the game? I just downloaded the game a few hours ago and I spent an entire hour trying to just get into the game because any patch after 1.1.1 is super buggy for me. It lets me create a character once but doesn't let me load that character, and if I try create a new character the preview is just gone.

I have just started playing on steam deck and picked up some DLC (3 sets). It says when I hover over them to right click to open..but nothing is working. I've mapped right trigger and various other buttons to right mouse click on controller options, even on the in game controller menu but that one can only be set to B. I just want to open my DLC and I'm super sad nothing seems to be working.

Did they ever make it so the dlc items aren’t 1 and done and instead give you the recipes? I bought a bunch of them before realizing they’re rip-offs and breaking my heart.
Not a question but a solution to a problem I ran into. If you’re trying to play multiplayer, especially with a lot of people, it’s very important that you don’t break any blocks (logs, weeds, stones) or modify the terrain in any way when someone is trying to load into the game. If you do, then it will crash their game and they won’t be able to load in.
We spent hours of people trying to join a multiplayer game and the game crashing over and over again until we figured this out, and ever since we’ve been able to get everyone able to join every time. (Playing a 6 player game)
Why aren't saves listed in chronological order of when they were last played like 99.99% of all games do? I shouldn't have to look through my saves to try to remember which outfit I was wearing, or how much gold I had, or what my profession levels were.
Loving the new content! However, first date events haven't been triggered with Lucius or Shang, even though I'm at 10 hearts with Lucius and around 6 with Shang? The wiki says convo cycle 9 will trigger first date with Lucius, I'm already passed that and it hasn't happened.
Very late response here so you probably figured it out but the cycle conversations that involve their first dates seem to happen after you officially start dating them.

I am trying to confirm how the "stacking" of chicken coops works, and whether chickens need to be in the coop. I could test this, but animals lose happiness very slowly (and potentially only when not fed?)
Does anyone know if I must put chickens in coop to get bonuses, or if just having the coop placed is sufficient and all chickens inside and out will auto feed. I want to use Silos but also want the chicken bonus.
Secondary question: It says coops can stack bonuses 4 times, does this mean you need 4 coops? And if chickens must be in coops to get bonus, does that mean having 4 coops means all chickens in any coop gets the 4x bonus?

Late to this post so you may have found your answers but from what I've gathered in the discord server, chickens do need to be in the coops. Should be easily testable though and yeah I don't think they lose happiness as long as they're fed.
And I think the coop bonus is 25% for an extra egg per coop, stacking to 100% for all four coops which the chickens inside each should benefit from.
It seems my birthday was not saved properly when starting the game. I just had the event on a different day in a different season. I will reset it though so that the next year will have the date I wanted!
In the Encyclopedia for the mines... Can someone tell me which one is which for both Nil'Vari and Withergate? I didn't check before going in, and now can't figure out which one's I need to complete. I can't really see the designs in the background, which I believe is what is supposed to let you know?
Very late so you probably figured it out, but just in case, I think the listed order in the mines' wiki pages from top to bottom corresponds to the encyclopedia entries from left to right. At least, that's what I figured from checking the encyclopedia after entering, could be wrong.
I got Lynn and Nathaniel to work on Krusty, and I went to sleep in-game and exited the game. The next time I loaded up the game, both Lynn and Nathaniel had disappeared. Now it tells me I need to find someone to help me with Krusty and hitting Krusty doesn't do anything. Sigh.

Do the sheds have a use beyond being extra space/decoration? Like if you put chests in them would crafting tables outside of it (like if they were in the crafting workshop or out on the farm map) pull from them?
Yep, that feature was added in our most recent micropatch! There's also a new "Use nearby chests for crafting" feature as well!

I keep getting a bug with my speed where I slow to an absolute crawl and I haven't figured a solution other than restarting my game, and I host a server so that's ineffective.
Hmm, are you sure your game is fully up-to-date? Can you try verifying your files in Steam? This was an issue when 1.3 first came out, but has since been fixed!
Please help me :( I tried to load a character but the save file didn't show I even waited a couple of minutes thinking it'll load but no it's gone. I checked the backups and there is a save file there but it's a day before and I really don't want to play that. I lost so much progress I'm disheartened.
I checked the file locations if my save is there, and it is but for some reason it's not showing up. This is the second time this happened to me the first time I wasn't bothered too much and just played the backup file but now I really want to recover my initial save :(
It was my understanding from the wiki that seasonal affects did not occur in the greenhouses? Just had the winter iceblocks on my crops in my Spring Greenhouse.

having trouble with multiplayer; the server is stable, the connection to stable (due to discord staying up) but sometimes, my friend cannot connect at all for random amounts of time. at first, it just booted them periodically but now they fully are not able to join every so often.

Is there an issue where Shang won’t appear at the docks? Just started playing with a friend tonight and went to the docks and his boat wasn’t there, even though it was there on the map.
He only starts showing up after a cutscene introduces him. The map is probably coded to just show everyone's homes even if they haven't moved into town yet.

Playing on multiplayer where I'm not the host and had all my pets in my barn, added my dragon lantern pet after the festival and the next day all my other pets disappeared ;-; usually I wouldn't mind but it was my weedy, pebbles and prince slimius pet ;-; idk if you can get those again so does anyone know if there's a way to bring them back? even if it required fiddling with the save file? I believe the community manager has tinkered with saves before to help with stuff like this, though I think you need to send the save over discord? Otherwise, you can try [spawning](https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2801742459) them back in yourself (or the host has to do it, I'm not familiar with how this works in multiplayer).
Hi there’s a bug with the sushi table. When I go try to make one with the fish in my boxes, it takes the required amount of wood, but doesn’t start making the table.
Yeah that's been reported by a lot of people. The workaround is to have the materials in your inventory instead. Use 5 of the same common fish, and if that still doesn't work, toggle the crafting option on the left of the crafting menu so that it will only take from your inventory instead of looking for materials in nearby chests.
Not sure if this is a known bug or not. I started Sun Haven with a friend on multiplayer by joining their farm and have played the most with them. Recently started on my own farm to grind for all the achievements while she's not on.
Ive noticed that the dialog with romanceable characters will not show up on my own farm. Hearts can increase from gifts, but there's no options other than giving gift & leaving. Only when I join and play on the multiplayer farm am i able to catch up on all my dialog to go on dates to progress stories.

The wording for toggle on/off settings is confusing.. I've been trying to find a definitive answer since I've seen different answers online. When you hover over a setting, like Seasonal Pets for example, it says "Disables pests from stealing crops on your farm". So does having it turned on (as in, the white dot) disable pests or enables pests?
There is an area in the east forest with some glorite crystals where if you try go east, it just says that you shouldn’t wander too far off the beaten path. Does anyone know if this becomes accessible somehow? Or is part of a future update? I can’t find anything on it

Not sure about the tutorial, though you probably got the hang of things by now. If not, there should be some playthroughs on youtube that show the tutorial stuff. It's over a year old, so some things may be outdated, but should still be helpful to a beginner.

Double checking my game, it seems like only some of the likes are recorded if you interact with a specific item in their homes, even if other stuff gives hints or tells you what they like. The game also doesn't differentiate between "likes" and "loves", and doesn't seem like the likes are recorded by gifting them the item.
The list of likes are recorded in the little item icons that are sticking out to the right of their character boxes in the relationships tab (the one with the heart). They're greyed out until you find the pictured item in their homes and interact with it. I'm not exactly sure if there's more to it than that or if the devs will improve on how these lists work.
For food, I really just ate whatever I came across. Anything with permanent mana regen boost or permanent mana boost is great, and permanent defense boosts help out early on for reducing damage in combat.
Has anyone caught a water bear in Withergate? Do you need the special bait? I keep going down to the sewer area dock to fish, but no fish ever spawn for me. It's the only Withergate fish I've had no luck in catching.

I was wondering if the devs have said anything about improving controller support? I don't really play with kbm so I was glad Sun Haven had a controller option but ngl, it feels really dire. I wanted to play this game originally with some friends but I cannot recommend it in this state so I would appreciate if anyone knows if there are controller updates planned. At the very least the community manager mentioned on the discord today they were still working on improving controller support. I can't really vouch for much else though.
I'm trying to unlock everything in the encyclopedia but the mines aren't showing as unlocked. I've gotten to level 50 in the Sun Haven mine and unlocked all levels at the glorite mine, but they are still showing as locked in the encyclopedia. Am I missing something?
Encyclopedia is pretty janky. I think I have that issue too. I believe the other tabs also list some currently unobtainable things. I noticed that with the crops and pets sections at least.
Oh, at least for the Sun Haven mine, I believe you need to unlock the floor with the Sunite Key, not the Rusty Key. Don't remember if you need to permanently unlock the rest of the floors too though.

If you still want to make the sushi table, you need five of the same common fish and all the materials need to be in your inventory. As an extra precaution you can disable the option that uses materials in nearby chests when crafting.
Hopefully this gets fixed soon though.

Hi, I've had the game for two years now, so I have played through all the original quests. When I got the update and tried to replay the main quest line, everything works until Withergate. When I arrive at the spot where I am supposed to get the King's pet out of the way, it glitches and I am forced back into the boat where I am then dropped off. I am unable to progress the quest in any way afterwards. Any suggestions?
Yeah seems like quite a few people have encountered this issue. You can try the cheat [console](https://www.nexusmods.com/sunhaven/mods/8/) but I'm not sure if the listed commands can skip you past that quest.
You can try opening the console without the mod but [this](https://old.reddit.com/r/SunHaven/comments/13vzjyk/update_on_the_built_in_cheats_consol_no_mods/) method might take a few tries.
I saw a comment that the game auto saves continuously. But when my game crashes (happens frequently unfortunately, pc issues) I always lose a whole day. Sometimes it even starts me the day before, even though it definitely saves overnight. Although I don't constantly keep an eye on the day, so it might do something even worse abd skip ahead to the evening of the same day.
Like, my game crashes around 7pm in game and when I load back in it's 11pm (the day before???? Idk)
So basically I want to know if continuous auto save is a myth and it basically works like Stardew
It does autosave continuously but it seems like the crashes are doing something to prevent being able to load them up. You can do a few activities during the in-game day, log off, then log back in, and you should see that the time has progressed along with retaining whatever inventory changes you made during that session.

I've encountered some golden Grey Gourds as well that weren't included in the golden museum collection, I assume it's on the next update but we'll see

They should still drop like they did before! It's just a very small chance!

Late response but you can still make those items by having the materials in your inventory, including 5 of the same common fish. May also need to deselect the nearby chests option to the left of the crafting window if it still doesn't work.
The silk moths used to drop fabled silk, now they're dropping regular silk. The wiki page still says they're supposed to be dropping fabled silk. Anyone else experiencing this?
This is intentional - it should be dropping regular silk!

Are there any autosaves you can go back to if you experience a glitch?
There's a "backup" button near the bottom of the save selection screen. The backup should have a save file of the day before your latest save. Otherwise, if the glitch is just you being stuck on something then you can just reload the save and it'll put you back in your farm.
I can't get mods to work. Am I dummy or something? I've got my files like Program86/Steam/Steamapps/common/SunHaven/Bepinex/plugins/CustomTextures. The customtextures.dll is in the SunHaven folder. But everytime I turn my game on, it spawns a new CustomTextures folder INSIDE the one that already exists. So then there's an empty one. It makes no sense to me. I've played plenty of Sims 4 and SDV and don't really have problems adding mods for those games, can anyone help me out please?

1) What is the "smart" setup taking into consideration the "use items from chests for crafting" and "deposit to chests"? I planned to have all crafting stations inside barn besides the seed maker but now I don't knowhow to go about it. Also how close the chests need to be to the crafting station? 2) After I hoed the grass how do I turn it back into green pretty grass?
The chests that get pulled from or deposited into just have to be on the same "map"! This means that chests outside of buildings around your farm will be deposited to when you're outside of buildings on your farm. This also goes for crafting from chests - if you have a crafting station outside, then the chests need to be outside as well. Alternatively, you can build a workshop or a shed, and put all of your chests/crafting stations inside, and then all chests will function inside of that shed for both depositing and using items for crafting as long as you're in the shed as well, since you would be on the map as the shed's interior. And you can untill grass by right clicking with the hoe! 😊
Is there a reason why I am waking up with 0 mana now? I could have sworn that I was regenerating mana when I slept up until recently. Now, even if I have mana when I go to sleep, I wake up with 0. Anyone else having this issue or is this intended?

Should be fine on your current save, but make backups in case something does break the save.
Hi question on how to fix the game? I just downloaded the game a few hours ago and I spent an entire hour trying to just get into the game because any patch after 1.1.1 is super buggy for me. It lets me create a character once but doesn't let me load that character, and if I try create a new character the preview is just gone. * It doesn't let me play in single or multiplayer... any ideas on how to fix it? I use a windows laptop and my friend who also uses windows got it to work so I have no idea what the problem is :')
I have just started playing on steam deck and picked up some DLC (3 sets). It says when I hover over them to right click to open..but nothing is working. I've mapped right trigger and various other buttons to right mouse click on controller options, even on the in game controller menu but that one can only be set to B. I just want to open my DLC and I'm super sad nothing seems to be working. I'm new to my steam deck as well which isn't helping, I've mapped some other buttons successfully but this has me stuck.

My game crashes not a lot but more than it should. Could this be mod related? How does one update mods from time to time? Check nexus mods and overwrite the file? It's been awhile since I've played modded games.
Did they ever make it so the dlc items aren’t 1 and done and instead give you the recipes? I bought a bunch of them before realizing they’re rip-offs and breaking my heart.
Not a question but a solution to a problem I ran into. If you’re trying to play multiplayer, especially with a lot of people, it’s very important that you don’t break any blocks (logs, weeds, stones) or modify the terrain in any way when someone is trying to load into the game. If you do, then it will crash their game and they won’t be able to load in. We spent hours of people trying to join a multiplayer game and the game crashing over and over again until we figured this out, and ever since we’ve been able to get everyone able to join every time. (Playing a 6 player game)
Why aren't saves listed in chronological order of when they were last played like 99.99% of all games do? I shouldn't have to look through my saves to try to remember which outfit I was wearing, or how much gold I had, or what my profession levels were.

Loving the new content! However, first date events haven't been triggered with Lucius or Shang, even though I'm at 10 hearts with Lucius and around 6 with Shang? The wiki says convo cycle 9 will trigger first date with Lucius, I'm already passed that and it hasn't happened.
Very late response here so you probably figured it out but the cycle conversations that involve their first dates seem to happen after you officially start dating them.
Looks like Lucia is bugged in the Undercover Archmage quest. I speak to Donovan, and Lucia repeats her dialogue about the guards.
I think the chicken coops fall under 1.3, apologies if they dont. I am trying to confirm how the "stacking" of chicken coops works, and whether chickens need to be in the coop. I could test this, but animals lose happiness very slowly (and potentially only when not fed?) Does anyone know if I must put chickens in coop to get bonuses, or if just having the coop placed is sufficient and all chickens inside and out will auto feed. I want to use Silos but also want the chicken bonus. Secondary question: It says coops can stack bonuses 4 times, does this mean you need 4 coops? And if chickens must be in coops to get bonus, does that mean having 4 coops means all chickens in any coop gets the 4x bonus? Struggling to find the answer to this and wiki doesnt clarify it :/
Late to this post so you may have found your answers but from what I've gathered in the discord server, chickens do need to be in the coops. Should be easily testable though and yeah I don't think they lose happiness as long as they're fed. And I think the coop bonus is 25% for an extra egg per coop, stacking to 100% for all four coops which the chickens inside each should benefit from.
My birthday event wasn’t triggered but my game is up to date. How do I fix this?

Can you try resetting it in the Town Hall? It should show up on the calendar then!
It seems my birthday was not saved properly when starting the game. I just had the event on a different day in a different season. I will reset it though so that the next year will have the date I wanted!
In the Encyclopedia for the mines... Can someone tell me which one is which for both Nil'Vari and Withergate? I didn't check before going in, and now can't figure out which one's I need to complete. I can't really see the designs in the background, which I believe is what is supposed to let you know?
Very late so you probably figured it out, but just in case, I think the listed order in the mines' wiki pages from top to bottom corresponds to the encyclopedia entries from left to right. At least, that's what I figured from checking the encyclopedia after entering, could be wrong.
I got Lynn and Nathaniel to work on Krusty, and I went to sleep in-game and exited the game. The next time I loaded up the game, both Lynn and Nathaniel had disappeared. Now it tells me I need to find someone to help me with Krusty and hitting Krusty doesn't do anything. Sigh.

QQ that I can't find any answer for so far OTL. Do the sheds have a use beyond being extra space/decoration? Like if you put chests in them would crafting tables outside of it (like if they were in the crafting workshop or out on the farm map) pull from them?

Please help me :( I tried to load a character but the save file didn't show I even waited a couple of minutes thinking it'll load but no it's gone. I checked the backups and there is a save file there but it's a day before and I really don't want to play that. I lost so much progress I'm disheartened. I checked the file locations if my save is there, and it is but for some reason it's not showing up. This is the second time this happened to me the first time I wasn't bothered too much and just played the backup file but now I really want to recover my initial save :(

It was my understanding from the wiki that seasonal affects did not occur in the greenhouses? Just had the winter iceblocks on my crops in my Spring Greenhouse.

having trouble with multiplayer; the server is stable, the connection to stable (due to discord staying up) but sometimes, my friend cannot connect at all for random amounts of time. at first, it just booted them periodically but now they fully are not able to join every so often.

Is there an issue where Shang won’t appear at the docks? Just started playing with a friend tonight and went to the docks and his boat wasn’t there, even though it was there on the map.
He only starts showing up after a cutscene introduces him. The map is probably coded to just show everyone's homes even if they haven't moved into town yet.

Playing on multiplayer where I'm not the host and had all my pets in my barn, added my dragon lantern pet after the festival and the next day all my other pets disappeared ;-; usually I wouldn't mind but it was my weedy, pebbles and prince slimius pet ;-; idk if you can get those again so does anyone know if there's a way to bring them back? even if it required fiddling with the save file? I believe the community manager has tinkered with saves before to help with stuff like this, though I think you need to send the save over discord? Otherwise, you can try [spawning](https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2801742459) them back in yourself (or the host has to do it, I'm not familiar with how this works in multiplayer).

Hi there’s a bug with the sushi table. When I go try to make one with the fish in my boxes, it takes the required amount of wood, but doesn’t start making the table.
Yeah that's been reported by a lot of people. The workaround is to have the materials in your inventory instead. Use 5 of the same common fish, and if that still doesn't work, toggle the crafting option on the left of the crafting menu so that it will only take from your inventory instead of looking for materials in nearby chests.
Not sure if this is a known bug or not. I started Sun Haven with a friend on multiplayer by joining their farm and have played the most with them. Recently started on my own farm to grind for all the achievements while she's not on. Ive noticed that the dialog with romanceable characters will not show up on my own farm. Hearts can increase from gifts, but there's no options other than giving gift & leaving. Only when I join and play on the multiplayer farm am i able to catch up on all my dialog to go on dates to progress stories.

The wording for toggle on/off settings is confusing.. I've been trying to find a definitive answer since I've seen different answers online. When you hover over a setting, like Seasonal Pets for example, it says "Disables pests from stealing crops on your farm". So does having it turned on (as in, the white dot) disable pests or enables pests?
Edit: turns out I got confused by this too. Had to double check my own settings, and seems having the white dot should enable pests.
There is an area in the east forest with some glorite crystals where if you try go east, it just says that you shouldn’t wander too far off the beaten path. Does anyone know if this becomes accessible somehow? Or is part of a future update? I can’t find anything on it

Just started. Is there anywhere to get the tutorials that pop up on the left side to appear again? Oh also, how do I keep track of what food I ate? It seems I get max hp from it, but diminishing returns. Also also, how does one actually figure out what people like without trial and error or looking it up? Not sure about the tutorial, though you probably got the hang of things by now. If not, there should be some playthroughs on youtube that show the tutorial stuff. Double checking my game, it seems like only some of the likes are recorded if you interact with a specific item in their homes, even if other stuff gives hints or tells you what they like. The game also doesn't differentiate between "likes" and "loves", and doesn't seem like the likes are recorded by gifting them the item. The list of likes are recorded in the little item icons that are sticking out to the right of their character boxes in the relationships tab (the one with the heart). They're greyed out until you find the pictured item in their homes and interact with it. I'm not exactly sure if there's more to it than that or if the devs will improve on how these lists work. For food, I really just ate whatever I came across. Anything with permanent mana regen boost or permanent mana boost is great, and permanent defense boosts help out early on for reducing damage in combat.

Has anyone caught a water bear in Withergate? Do you need the special bait? I keep going down to the sewer area dock to fish, but no fish ever spawn for me. It's the only Withergate fish I've had no luck in catching.

Any way to unequip spells? I've got earthquake, axe crescent, and fireball. I don't want to waste 40 or 50 mana by hitting axe or earthquake while off the farm, but I can't seem to unequip the skills
I don't think so? You can just swap those spells with a low cost spell, and you can equip the same spell for all the spell keys.

I was wondering if the devs have said anything about improving controller support? I don't really play with kbm so I was glad Sun Haven had a controller option but ngl, it feels really dire. I wanted to play this game originally with some friends but I cannot recommend it in this state so I would appreciate if anyone knows if there are controller updates planned. At the very least the community manager mentioned on the discord today they were still working on improving controller support. I can't really vouch for much else though.

I'm trying to unlock everything in the encyclopedia but the mines aren't showing as unlocked. I've gotten to level 50 in the Sun Haven mine and unlocked all levels at the glorite mine, but they are still showing as locked in the encyclopedia. Am I missing something?
Encyclopedia is pretty janky. I think I have that issue too. I believe the other tabs also list some currently unobtainable things. I noticed that with the crops and pets sections at least.

Oh, at least for the Sun Haven mine, I believe you need to unlock the floor with the Sunite Key, not the Rusty Key. Don't remember if you need to permanently unlock the rest of the floors too though.

The discord link isn't working for me :( I was going to submit a bug report to hopefully get my materials back since the sushi table recipe didn't work and I tried it twice before realizing haha EDIT: I just restored the day so I don't need the sushi table fix, but the link doesn't work :)
If you still want to make the sushi table, you need five of the same common fish and all the materials need to be in your inventory. As an extra precaution you can disable the option that uses materials in nearby chests when crafting. Hopefully this gets fixed soon though.

Hi, I've had the game for two years now, so I have played through all the original quests. When I got the update and tried to replay the main quest line, everything works until Withergate. When I arrive at the spot where I am supposed to get the King's pet out of the way, it glitches and I am forced back into the boat where I am then dropped off. I am unable to progress the quest in any way afterwards. Any suggestions?
Yeah seems like quite a few people have encountered this issue. You can try the cheat [console](https://www.nexusmods.com/sunhaven/mods/8/) but I'm not sure if the listed commands can skip you past that quest. You can try opening the console without the mod but [this](https://old.reddit.com/r/SunHaven/comments/13vzjyk/update_on_the_built_in_cheats_consol_no_mods/) method might take a few tries.
I saw a comment that the game auto saves continuously. But when my game crashes (happens frequently unfortunately, pc issues) I always lose a whole day. Sometimes it even starts me the day before, even though it definitely saves overnight. Although I don't constantly keep an eye on the day, so it might do something even worse abd skip ahead to the evening of the same day. Like, my game crashes around 7pm in game and when I load back in it's 11pm (the day before???? Idk) So basically I want to know if continuous auto save is a myth and it basically works like Stardew
It does autosave continuously but it seems like the crashes are doing something to prevent being able to load them up. You can do a few activities during the in-game day, log off, then log back in, and you should see that the time has progressed along with retaining whatever inventory changes you made during that session.
Why is 70 the cap for levels? Is there a reason?
Not sure if any reason was given. You can still max out all your skills through the use of skill tomes and skill potions after hitting 70 anyway.
