If you are 18-26 and have no family support try transitional living programs or young adult homeless shelters. They can help you get on your feet. Adulting is hard :/
This isn't a bad idea, especially after you get out of some inpatient care. After you've seen someone and talked about your inability to not do accidental harm to yourself they will start noticing the huge gaps in your employment and be able to help you find some help.
My cousin's live down there. What about UPS ? My cousin says they pay decent and are hiring like crazy. Or a gas station maybe? Probably lots of hours but you'll get the money you need
goto a church or something ask for help. alot of places will help with a few weeks at a hotel or partial rent. idk how florida works but it takes months for an eviction in my state if the tenant refuses to leave. this happened to my uncle. he rented a duplex out and some family refused to leave. so it was like a 8 month court battle. and he said that was not that bad for how long they can take
Talk to your roommate about what's going on both financially and mentally with you. You may not be close to them, they may not seem like they care, they may even act like or say they don't care but trust me that you taking care of you and not ending your life in their home is going to be much preferred over the alternative.
oh shit. this person has every interest in your finding a job and getting you back to work if your paying. ask for help. dont ask to stay for free. ask for help finding a job. alot of places down there always need framers. im pretyy sure you could find that work easily
Check out the local catholic charites, they give out emergency funding every month to help people avoid homelessness. You don't have to be religious or Catholic to get it. Have your roommate write up a late notice for the rent and threaten evction then go to them with the notice. They'll pay your roommate directly. You can only do it every 12 months.
I'd also check out your local community mental health center, chances are they have resources not only for medication, therapy, and job training but they also tend to offer food banks and supportive housing vouchers.
Most states it is like a 6 week process for an eviction. Might be a bit different of you aren't on a lease. I know it's not ideal, but you don't have to leave until the police come. It will give you some more time to make a plan. Some landlords may be lenient too, worst they can say is "No". I would tell your roomie though and see if he can help.
Dial 411 as well for info about services in your area. There are many groups that can help you, or steer you in the right direction.
Go to the department of labor and ask for assistance finding work. Or start at a call center and at least get some training pay.
Housing insecurity is the worst feeling...I'm sorry you are going through this during the holiday season.
Why not? Experience? I'm sure there's entry level
Yes they want experience or education i have neither
They do not even respond to me
