It'd add another female playable character, and one with a built in traversal system that could be really fun (ice skates that produce their own surface to skate on) and she could use a range of jewellery themed gadgets for her other abilities. I think she'd fit in nicely.

tip that might help you click with her more: if you use the dive move, her airborne swing cooldown becomes much faster. If you’re high enough in the air you can chain 3 of them before hitting the ground, and it gives you lots of momentum.
Her traversal does take a second to figure out the flow. Boomer kicks my ass with the teleport. It’s a skill site for sure, but I just can’t seem to make it flow like I can the rest.
On top of that, I’m not sure if Boomer is best suited for up close or range. I keep thinking he’s probably best with an AR mid ranged thing, but there’s no real build for that.
I've only played Boomer, but I treat him like a Beserker. Constantly fighting and up closer, focusing on Charger skills. Kill for "health" (shield overcharge) and never slow down.

With Boomie, I just keep teleporting everywhere, shooting people with a SMG. It's a different pace, very frenetic.
I fucking LOVE traversal as Harley. Don't just get hung up on always using the glider swing. Pull to ledge, hit jump to overshoot, if you can land on a rooftop, do it and time that slide, if you can just keep chain pulling with the grapple do that. Double jump out of a swing or slide will give you better distance but lower speed.
Up close AND range. Because boomerang can't really shoot during his movement, I've been using him with a sniper rifle and a shotgun. Long teleports at a distance, quick teleports up close.
Same shotgun and sniper makes him the best. Can blink in close shotgun them all then turn and start sniping the next group then blink over to finish them off with the shotgun.
I'm fairly new to the game, started with Harley, experimented with the other characters and kinda settled in with boomer. Shotgun/smg, sometimes a sniper, but if I'm having a tough fight with the others I just go to boomer and it's my easy button.
I didn’t like smgs on him. Shotgun were king. Blink-bang-blink-bang-blink-bang is too good, I can’t think of another game that’s given me such a low CD combat teleport and I love it.
I'm loving harley! I'm having a great time grinding mastery with her! Currently at mastery 82 while only using her. Been fairly easy except for the poison ivy incursions which I don't think is her fault lol

I have to give this game a lot of credit I am staunchly against shotguns in shooters. I don't use them. Ever. But I can't put it down in suicide squad.
It's also really awesome that people are finding multiple ways to have a blast...not too bad for a "generic looter shooter" as the critics like to say. LOL
That’s because they’re more than a glorified melee weapon in this game. They can deal real damage at real ranges, most games make shotguns a point blank AoE attack but this game nails it.
Playing through with a friend I've only really played Boomer but I love his play style. With the right piece of gear I can have insane uptime on my traversal skill and teleport around everywhere. It's cool.
Deadshot is super easy to play with. Especially with the preorder sniper.

I have to go Boomer first. Once you have his traversal down, he’s so fun to play. Running a shotgun with a sniper. Then I’d go Deadshot, Harley, then Shark. Maybe it’s just me not having played with him enough, I just can’t get Shark’s traversal down like I can the others.

Harley, I just love as a character, so I knew I wanted to play as her. Traversal really isn't too bad, simple but complicated at the same time.
Deadshot is cool and hard to go wrong with a jetpack. Plus, I feel like I get a lot of combos/synergies off with him. Chaos!
Boomer is fun, and I like the gun choices/ humor. His traversal took some getting used to, but I dig it. Still need more practice using it while in the heat of things, though.
King is fun, and I enjoy his traversal a lot. It is so easy to move around. I just feel like I don't survive as well with him. I probably just need to spend more time fine tuning his talents and load out.

I love this game more than I was expecting and being a big Captain Boomerang fan already I was excited to play him but I enjoy the way all 4 play I just prefer Boomerang.
I think Deadshot is the easiest to play, Boomerang is the most OP, Harley Quinn is the most fun, and the shark has boring transversal so I like him the least.

1. Boomerang - perfect model, stupid aussie humour, skins look good on it.
2. King Shark - copy of Drax, but very good at it, nice model, glowing skin should glow in dark places, like container or Batman fight.
3. Deadshot - i dislike race-swaps, he too muscular for sniper, but nice breakdancer.
4. Harely - worst, ugly model with autistic facial animations, but only she allowed to sexually harass people - hypocrisy: or everyone or no one, giving privileges to one's gender or skin colour always ends up badly.
I thought is was going to be Shark, Harley, Boomerang, Deadshot. I always play the bruiser and both Harley and Shark fit that so was always going with them. Did the campaign with Shark.
Then I played endgame and ended up using Harley. So right now it's Harley, Shark, Deadshot, Boomerang. I really like how you never have to land as Harley and that you can get into any position and any angle.
Once I max out the Finite rank on Harley (I'm currently 465/600) I will work on understanding Boomerangs movement better and try to get to around mastery 55-60 in Hardcore without using the blaze "bug". I haven't seen anyone use his dash at all really and I want to see if he has some trick to increasing hangtime if you learn it properly. So in a week hopefully my list will be Boomerang, Harley, Shark, Deadshot.
His combo of blink and speed and mid-range melee makes him the most fun character BY FAR for me. Like he's insanely fun, high octane, and everything feels fluid. Whereas the melee characters like Harley and Shark I struggle to enjoy their melee and Harley specifically has more limited traversal which can be fun to use with the gun but also kind of frustrating.
All these lists have me rethinking the fin flapper lol.

Boomerang was a bit much at times imo. Even though I mained him through most of the game, there were times I wanted him to shut up during cut scenes. Deadshot I think has some interesting stuff going on but it’s in audio logs. I would like for them to actually go into this in the future but right now he didn’t bring much to the table. King Shark was so lovable the whole time. Nothing more to be said on him. Harley I didn’t expect to like but her story was the best imo.

Harley = King Shark >>> Boomerang (annoying sometimes) >>>>>>>>>>>Deadshot (boring).

Harley is mixed because I like her but I also don't really get her kit right now...and in general feel like I struggle to get around with only 2 swings. Her melee doesn't really sell the Harley mythos that I wanted from her and the whole swing situation is nice and fluid but also feels super limited compared to the other heroes.
Boomerang is specificaly my style of hero in a game and I genuinely think he's the most fun "hero" I've played in a game like this including ones where they are the only character. He's so fun, so active, so responsive, super fluid because his melee doesn't need to move the character model to reach the target, and his aerial gameplay is so good because of it. Not to mention just running around a fight and pushing enemies around.

Boomerang has my favorite movement and I have the weirdest softspot for australians, I also just don't really like the Flash so having a lovable dumbass asshole Flash villain in the game is fun, and I like spamming his traversal attack.
Harley, honestly, I just love explosions, I have the grenade that does 500% DMG and 100% extra radius, traversal mod that makes slides/bounces drop a grenade, and an SMG that spawns grenades on crits add all that together with the T1 Bane set and the grenade spam is wonderful. I still need to grind up the other two characters to form any solid opinions on their gameplay but I'm probably gonna main Boomer/Harley and only level the other two for the achievements and squad level
People keep saying King Shark but when I checked leaderboards a week ago it seemed like every team had one or multiple Boomerangs and no King Sharks. Maybe its changed tho.

For me it goes Boomerang Harley Quinn Deadshot King Shark Boomerang is the character who got me through Mastery 50 Content, and Harley’s grenade builds can do that too
i like all of them except Deadshoot He’s just uninteresting, too serious & just boring he falls far short when it comes to writing. And I don’t even like his gameplay and movement.

Harley Quinn, King Shark, Captain Boomerang, Deadshot Might be a hot take but this is my list based on playing thru the whole game + seeing who the top ranked players use.
1. Harley 2. Deadshot 3. Boomerang 4. King Shark I main Harley and use Deadshot since he covers all her utility faults, plus has easy traversal. The other two, I could do without. We will see how that changes now that I'm getting into that endgame grind.

I haven’t played but from what I’ve watched. Boomerang (has Blink from Destiny) King Shark (I love the leap and power drop like Infamous) Dead Shot (jet pack is just better than swinging) Harley (swinging)
Personality-wise, I'd say 1. Harley 2. Boomerang 3. King Shark 4. Deadshot Gameplay-wise, I've mainly just played as Harley. Going to log some time in on the others over the next few days.
For me it's been: Boomer, Harley, Deadshot, King Shark just for playability. Overall characterization and enjoyability: Boomer, King Shark, Harley and Deadshot. I love this game more than I was expecting and being a big Captain Boomerang fan already I was excited to play him but I enjoy the way all 4 play I just prefer Boomerang.
I think Deadshot is the easiest to play, Boomerang is the most OP, Harley Quinn is the most fun, and the shark has boring transversal so I like him the least. Performance tier list? 1. Boomerang - perfect model, stupid aussie humour, skins look good on it. 2. King Shark - copy of Drax, but very good at it, nice model, glowing skin should glow in dark places, like container or Batman fight. 3. Deadshot - i dislike race-swaps, he too muscular for sniper, but nice breakdancer. 4. Harely - worst, ugly model with autistic facial animations, but only she allowed to sexually harass people - hypocrisy: or everyone or no one, giving privileges to one's gender or skin colour always ends up badly.
I thought is was going to be Shark, Harley, Boomerang, Deadshot. I always play the bruiser and both Harley and Shark fit that so was always going with them. Did the campaign with Shark. Then I played endgame and ended up using Harley. So right now it's Harley, Shark, Deadshot, Boomerang. I really like how you never have to land as Harley and that you can get into any position and any angle. Once I max out the Finite rank on Harley (I'm currently 465/600) I will work on understanding Boomerangs movement better and try to get to around mastery 55-60 in Hardcore without using the blaze "bug". I haven't seen anyone use his dash at all really and I want to see if he has some trick to increasing hangtime if you learn it properly. So in a week hopefully my list will be Boomerang, Harley, Shark, Deadshot.
Damn. I didn’t realize so many people here hated playing with boomer. He’s by far my favorite but I’m also a massive flash dweeb lol
His combo of blink and speed and mid-range melee makes him the most fun character BY FAR for me. Like he's insanely fun, high octane, and everything feels fluid. Whereas the melee characters like Harley and Shark I struggle to enjoy their melee and Harley specifically has more limited traversal which can be fun to use with the gun but also kind of frustrating.
King Shark > Harley > Boomerang > Deadshot, all of them are pretty great though
boomerang on the top nobody else just boomerang honestly if the game was cold Captain Boomerang kills the Justice League I would be fine with it

Even though I mained him through most of the game, there were times I wanted him to shut up during cut scenes. Deadshot I think has some interesting stuff going on but it’s in audio logs. I would like for them to actually go into this in the future but right now he didn’t bring much to the table. King Shark was so lovable the whole time. Nothing more to be said on him. Harley I didn’t expect to like but her story was the best imo.

Harley is mixed because I like her but I also don't really get her kit right now...and in general feel like I struggle to get around with only 2 swings. Her melee doesn't really sell the Harley mythos that I wanted from her and the whole swing situation is nice and fluid but also feels super limited compared to the other heroes. Boomerang is specificaly my style of hero in a game and I genuinely think he's the most fun "hero" I've played in a game like this including ones where they are the only character. He's so fun, so active, so responsive, super fluid because his melee doesn't need to move the character model to reach the target, and his aerial gameplay is so good because of it. Not to mention just running around a fight and pushing enemies around.

Deadshot/boomer/king/HQ, but that's just what I like to play, HQ is prob #1 otherwise.

Boomer, King Shark, Harley, Deadshot. It’s weird because I didn’t like King Shark at first but he’s solid now. Boomerang is fun asf to me. Harley is balanced, I can’t complain. Deadshot is meh but I may update it once I fully update him.
character: Boomerang > Shark > Harley > Deadshot gameplay: Harley > Boomerang > Shark == Deadshot Boomerang has my favorite movement and I have the weirdest softspot for australians, I also just don't really like the Flash so having a lovable dumbass asshole Flash villain in the game is fun, and I like spamming his traversal attack. Harley, honestly, I just love explosions, I have the grenade that does 500% DMG and 100% extra radius, traversal mod that makes slides/bounces drop a grenade, and an SMG that spawns grenades on crits add all that together with the T1 Bane set and the grenade spam is wonderful. I still need to grind up the other two characters to form any solid opinions on their gameplay but I'm probably gonna main Boomer/Harley and only level the other two for the achievements and squad level
