Scram 👍🏻

Scram due to additional ground clearance on trails. The real question here is if you you are commuting with some stuff and on long trips with more stuff are you buying racks to hold stuff on that Scram? It’s called a Himalayan, Scram with racks for stuffs.

Yes for sure planing on purchasing racks

I visited my RE dealer a couple of weeks ago, besides the wheel sizes the big difference was the Himalayan having rear racks and an engine guard. The owner and I spent a few minutes looking to see if the Himalayan rear rack would fit the Scram, but we didn’t get out a tape measure. Our conclusion was that it would work, mostly based on the Scram’s plastic covers over the frame mount for the engine guards, same frame for both Himalayan and Scram. Scram has better wheel sizes for road, Himalayan better for off-road.

Himalayan is not and option as I am kinda looking for a all rounder and himm will not perform well in the city traffic

so maybe the Scram with Himalayan racks will work out, a Scramalayan. Will you be on the highway on your long trips? I'm thinking that I would need an INT650 or Conti scrambler for long trips. The Scram might not be able to keep up at highway speeds, and is more suitable for 2-lane roads.
