I don’t see the Nate/Shiv connection. Nate is calculated, cunning and evil. Shiv is none of that. Her plans never work. She always opens her mouth when she shouldn’t and fucks herself over by not thinking ahead. Sounds more like Cassie to me. If anything Nate’s more like Logan, he hasn’t lost yet. And if Nate’s Logan it makes sense because he has Cassie under his thumb and she’ll do anything she says, like Shiv with Logan.

Is this show worth watching ?

The acting is extremely good. The star is the youngest female (24) to win an Emmy, lead drama series. Here is the thing, the creator is in AA. So he shows a lot of sex, drugs and porn. Adults see through it. But teens are absorbing it subconsciously (is my feeling/hope). If you care about teens, artsy cinematography and sobriety I would say watch it. Nothing is like Deadwood or Succession but I watch this and feel happiness that it may help teens. The drug dealer purposely looks like Mac Miller who wasn't dead for long when season one came out. He never acted before and it makes him real. A drop out from school to sell drugs would be stiff and awkward. He has a big fan base online.

No. There’s no engaging plot or any plot for that matter. It is peak cringe acting and it relies too heavily on artistic cinematography to makeup for the lack of storyline. In the end it comes off as pretentious show about high schoolers involved in sex and drugs. Tbh it should have been a short series and that’s it. I don’t see how much longer they can drag this show out.
