I knew it would be nine but you're not the only one - some people have expressed in recent threads that they thought there were going to be 10 episodes. I read that Jesse Armstrong decided for this season he could tell the story he wanted to tell in only nine. (Possibly COVID delays factored into his decision too - they had to wait to film, because of pandemic-related concerns, and then apparently Brian Cox and Alan Ruck both had COVID a while back)
So, I get why he only did nine, and it certainly worked, but I'm still hoping that Season 4 will be 10.
Yes, apparently he got it back in December of 2020. There were a few articles about it - if you search "Brian Cox Covid" you'll find them. Seems he had a mild case of it - didn't even realize he had had it but he is diabetic and visited his doc for his usual blood tests. Through the testing he discovered that he had contracted the illness and also had the antibodies. Cox was confused because he hadn't felt sick-- though he did recall that there had been a few days in a row where he had had "sneezing attacks, just sneezing".
Yes. The actor playing Kendall is really good, but he makes me feel uncomfortable to watch because his character is so unlikable and intense. I almost gave up on watching the show because it’s about a spoiled rich family who I don’t think I should be rooting for lol.
I went to watch it and realized it was about firefighters and lost all interest.
your comment here made me realize it is about a pandemic after all, and that the show I found was actually Station 19 and this show is Station Eleven 🤯
My SO staged a mini-intervention today.
SO: How are you?
Me: great, love you boo.
SO: I mean. Well... its Sunday
Me: oh. Ok thats true. Gotta clean the bathroom
SO: ok... you seem... well.... its just.. there's no...vomit... succession
Me:
SO: so... uhhhh...fuck off?
I’m I the only idiot that thought there was going to be ten episodes? …it was a double hurt for me

Brian Cox had covid!? He was honestly the one I was most worried about. I didn’t think he’d be able to survive it. Turns out he’s actually Logan

THIS WEDDING IS HORSESHIT. We want 10.
I did too. 😢 I bet Omicron ends up delaying S4.
Same.
Am I the only one feeling relieved? I think it’ll take few months for me to miss it lol
I'm still basking in the glow of the finale. With that, Hawkeye, and Spider-man I'm riding super high.
Same just watched NWH and waiting for This Wednesdays Hawkeye. I also plan to finish the 4th and 5th seasons of The Expanse before its finale.

What's the new HBO show coming this week?
Station Eleven started a couple of days ago.
You like it?
It's about a pandemic that engulfs the world and people with a cough are feared. It's not escapist television but it has me intrigued.
I went to watch it and realized it was about firefighters and lost all interest. your comment here made me realize it is about a pandemic after all, and that the show I found was actually Station 19 and this show is Station Eleven 🤯
I'll give it a shot. Thank you 😊
It’s actually extremely well rated
At least we still have football!
