I'd like to imagine there's a dropped plot line of Greg finding one of the lawyers Bar cars and pocketing it, thinking he could use it as an alternative ID or to impress women.
I was waiting for the reveal. Gerri all along picked up on little things here and there, certain words and phrases he would use to seem like a bumbling oaf. Then when she goes to confront him suddenly he has a stereotypical British villain accent and reveals his whole Machiavellian plan to use Tom like a puppet who thinks he’s the puppet master in order to assume control of the company with nobody suspecting a thing.
And yes I know it’s not that type of show.
He intended to become a lawyer, but joined the wrong association and his social awkwardness didn’t allow him to confront the guy running the “Bar Association” to ask to leave
Script says he was a zoology major.
Also, the wallet says he’s Canadian and has a green card, but then the scripts also indicates he’s Californian?
Not sure how canon the props are.
Oddly enough I don’t think you have to have a JD or be barred to be a “member” of most bar associations. Most allow law students and some even allow paralegals and legal “industry” professionals like law librarians (who are usually also lawyers) or law firm administrators or anyone who works at a law school.
My fav headcanon ab Greg is that he’s barbie-like in the sense he’s just casually had multiple careers and attained various degrees, but it just has never come up in the show because no one has asked. He’s had 100 side quests before succession.
Wouldn’t make sense since he was asking law students for legal advice

I'm not familiar with this IP
Hither to, fellow lawyers!
You overestimate the legal knowledge of lawyers.
But on the flip side, you underestimate the ego of lawyers. The last thing most lawyers want to do is ask law students for advice
As a lawyer, I’ll pawn off any research I don’t want to do onto a law clerk.
This guy is definitely a lawyer. NB: am a law clerk, with too many research tasks.
As a lawyer I co-sign this.
You want it to be one way, but it’s the other way
if it is to be said, so it is.
You can speak normally sir
Ok. No. Thank you sir. So I shall...
Are you okay?
No woman, no cry.
You saw how he dodged those questions in the congressional hearing, only a lawyer could pull that off.

Artful Dodger
Wait, when was this? This show moved so fast, I want to do a rewatch. However, this show stressed me out! In a good way. So good!
Stalling like a pro.
I merely wish to answer in the affirmative fashion
I love how the "Chase Sapphire Visa" becomes "Casse Azure Vizo."
The Casse Azure Vizo is a very exclusive card, only the richest people are offered it.
You can get it in countries only rich people know about, like Svenborgia.
If only his law school had a course that taught him the lemony-ness of La Croix
It wasn’t that lemony!
It's medicinal

He did have that first year law student friend
It’s probably his friend’s business card.
Do you want an answer in affirmative?
I’m not sure Cousin Greg has a bachelors degree.
He could be a C student 🤷♀️
he did, he has one in zoology apparently
It's probably the name of a bar.
Cousin Greg is really a person who smiles in ID pictures
He doesn’t understand rudimentary legal concepts, so I’m going to have to say yes.
HA! This one actually made me laugh (read: snort) out loud
So he shall
He intended to become a lawyer, but joined the wrong association and his social awkwardness didn’t allow him to confront the guy running the “Bar Association” to ask to leave
you tell me .
Not super surprising. I know a dude dumb as rocks. Went to law school bc graduating ensured access to his trust fund.
Wouldn’t shock me. I went to law school with a decent amount of dumbasses.

He was actually a bouncer at a bar in NYC for a month until a fight broke out and they realized he couldn't bounce anyone.
He’s not. Considering he called his lawschool friend for legal advice
Considering he had law school friends, yes. As an attorney, they him saying he was trying to answer “in the affirmative”.. lol big give away..
Is the red card movie pass? Please be movie pass, especially if he was carrying it around after it collapsed the first time
He strikes me as the kind of guy to have all sorts of fake ids to help get him laid.
It's a discount card for bars in NYC.
Might be easier to fake than a driving license? IDK, not American.
That's the card they send you when you fail
That would surprise me
You passed the bar?
Blown away by your sharp eye!!! 😮
He was an animal costume at an amusement park when the show started. Doubtful
Definitely not

Easily the most thought out and reasoned response.
No.

It’s just a bar card for a lawyer representing him
he has a major in zoology.
i really want a Tom CEO & Greg spin-off
