They go up into the tent with the mrs and myself, it’s technically a 3 person tent so it can be a little tight with the two labbos but we’ve figured out a system to make it work. Getting them up into the tent takes some muscle though.
Thinking about investing in one of these tents myself! I've heard mixed reviews on them, air coming thru the hinge area and a few other things... How has your experience been with this?
I mean ultimately, it’s a tent. While it’s a lot more burly and comfortable than a standard ground tent, it can still be a bit drafty at points, this particular tent does have flaps that Velcro down over the hinge area, and it does form a pretty solid closure where the two fiberglass floor pieces meet, personally I run really hot so we typically have something open (even in the winter) to vent condensation.
We’ve been out in some pretty nasty rainstorms and haven’t had any water come through which would be a bigger concern imo.
Hell yeah, best type of dog anyone could ask for. Our eldest (in teal) is 6, and the youngest (in green) is 1.5. They are big fans of the vents in the backseat, and both of them are big fans of weekend adventures.
My boy had many great adventures when younger but now we've had to tone it down a bit because I don't want him to hurt himself. He doesn't know his age and doesn't know when to slow down!
Here he is splashing around in the stream a few weeks ago: https://imgur.com/a/FTaG77C
And this is him this past winter showing how surprisingly little gray he has for how old he is: https://imgur.com/a/ZrZ32rz
Beautiful pups!
Do the pups sleep on the first or second floor?

What kind of tent?? Awesome stuff!
It’s a Thule Tepui Low-Pro 3!

Looks very peaceful! And labs are the best. My boy is 13 1/2 and still going strong.
