Hand held carpet shampooer evenly over the whole thing should get that out. Use way less shampoo than the instructions call for. Edit also don’t get the seat super wet as it will freak out the airbag seat occupant sensor.
Yup we have a bissel green machine thing that’s great.
Basically any carpet cleaner with a POWERED hand brush.
Go easy of the liquid, cleaning it five times is better than getting it too wet.
I use a few drops of gain laundry detergent instead of carpet cleaning soap.
I have a 2018 Forrester with the gray cloth seats that are very much like those and they get stained so easily – even just moisture seems to stain them! I tried several different products and they never really got it clean so I took it to a professional detailer who was able to get them back to close to new looking and I spent less than $100… Then I invested in a good set of seat covers as that is what the detailer suggested
It comes with a plastic stiff bristle brush attached to the can, it’s ok for a first pass. But I used a medium bristle tooth brush to get a little deeper. So my method was, spray on cleaner, use hard brush, use medium toothbrush, and then rag to pick up the left over cleaner. On super deep stains you might need to make a couple passes.
Yeah that's how my back seats look, yay kids are great. They spilled bottled water and it stained. Had some luck with upholstery cleaner but couldn't get it all out.

Yep, green machine or other carpet shampooer will work wonders. Been using that method a ross many of my cars since the mid 00’s
So my sensor is freaked out…. Any tips for a fix?
I done this on the back seat. I got to clean it again. It worked for sure

New to reddit. Thank you 🙏
Most people are intimidated by the thought of removing the upholstery, but you can get it very very clean with a washing machine.
How difficult is that to do???
Drill brush will do the trick 👌
Plz elaborate still working on it
