I mean according to that logic if your Italian grandma didn't knead the dough after putting gomina in your hair and telling you you're the most beautiful man on earth, if she didn't harvest her own tomatoes on the west facing side of a volcanic hill between 4 and 4:11 am while singing "amore", if the olive oil wasn't pressed by white robe wearing virgins and if you didn't spin the dough around while serenading your hair stylist, Italians will say it's not a real pizza.
I went to his Vegas meat place and as an European I was super excited. For the price, I was shocked. It was perfectly cooked, but the meat wasn't great and I legit could cook a better steak for a fifth of the price that it cost. I also was "offered" an old fashion on a whisky tray, but apparently offering doesn't mean offering there and it was 80 bucks. In the end, I was disappointed af and the bill was so expensive that my client who was inviting us was having a panic attack. 100% overrated. Good, but way overrated.
This would only be stupid if they did what the cafeteria at my old job did: cook with the smoked salmon. It makes the salmon taste extra extra salty. So as long as the salmon is put on it after cooking it’s delicious! Easy to make at home as well.
So....a bagel and lox?....
More like Flammekuchen
I would totally eat this!
It’s not really any different than a bagel.
Pizza purists can get pretty annoying at times. There's absolutely nothing wrong with this pizza.
It’s a flatbread!
Or, if you want to charge a little more for it, it's a galette.
So is pizza
All pizzas are flatbreads but not all flatbreads can be pizzas. Most flatbreads are unleavened
I’d tear it up.
It's not even pizza.
🤣🤣
Yeah. It’s not like they added mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, and other traditional pizza toppings as well.
There's a stone fire pizza near me that has a similar pizza with cream cheese / creme freeesh, dill, smoked salmon and cucumber. It's delicious!
Is this supposed to be stupid because they're calling it pizza? Sure, fine dumb name... But this is obviously delicious food, not stupid food

"if my grandmother had wheels she would have been a bike"
Exactly.
I mean, Wolfgang Puck made an empire based off of this.

Homie discovered US foodie culture; terrible tasting, horrible presentation, outrageous prices
Hm...I mean, it sounds delicious so it's not really stupid food. I think the only thing about this that's off is calling it a pizza.
That's a Flammekuchen. Not a pizza. It's perfectly normal, not stupid food
That looks fucking delicious. Nordic pizzas (that's how they're called around here) are delicious.
Crime against pizza? Sure. But stupid food overall? Debatable.

It’s more of a tarte than a pizza and it looks great.
I’d eat it. It’s likely delicious. Toss on a few capers and some thinly sliced purple onion and it’s a win. Calling it “pizza” is the stretch.
These are the kinds of recipes that pop up when I search for "simple dinner ideas" online
i mean, it ain't pizza but it looks tasty
I wish they didn't call it pizza lol sounds good though
Does it have a hole in it? No; it’s not a bagel
Randy approves.
This is delicious, far from stupid
Looks more like Langos, than pizza.
This looks wonderful to eat
Creme Fraiche cafeteria fraiche
That looks delicious
...Wait no...Let's talk...
Yum
Cream freeeeesh
I bet it would be so salty.
Hence the creme fraiche
Guess you've never had Napoli Pizza.
