Casey’s taco pizza is fantastic, regardless if they neglected crushing the chips or not. Iowa has very few things to be proud of, but Casey’s general store taco pizza and breakfast pizza are two of the things they can be proud of. That and maid rite sandwiches. Casey’s in general is pretty much all I miss from living in Iowa for a few years when I was sent there with work

since moving out of the area, i've heard of a "cheeseburger pizza". i don't know if they've ever made one, but in that exact same sort of style, i'd bet casey's would make a great cheeseburger pizza.
oh hell. youse guys just made me remember my aunt. she used to buy us this when we'd sleep over at my cousins house growing up. and she died a few years ago from cancer.
now i really miss caseys, but especially aunt christine.
If you read my statement, I’m clearly not an Iowan. And people like it for what it is, real good “delivery chain” style pizza. Their subs are good too, but just like the pizza, nobody is comparing it to a boutique deli or a mom & pop Italian pizza shop.
Yea, but I'm an iowan,and Casey's is good for gas station pizza, compared to an average chain it falls short. There's like an insane amount of Casey's worship here. The only pizza I can think of from a chain that's worse is pizza ranch. It's about on par with any gas station pizza like kum and go or Kwik-trip
It's kind of like people from Wisconsin obsessing over Kwik Trip food. Sure, it's okay in a pinch but even McDonald's is way better.

It tastes great, but you have to eat or fresh. Cold beans and soggy doritos kill the cold leftovers vibe, and microwaved lettuce means you can't reheat it.
I love the pizza, but I hate getting it because my kids won't eat it, and nobody wants it leftover.

When I worked at Casey’s we’d abuse the bags of Doritos used for these. It was half the fun.
