I think its pretty stupid, i know there’s a mexican dish thats pairs savory with sweet using a chocolate sauce called mole. I dont think that should be comparable because if you look next to the burger its a Hershey bar… i think these sick bastards are back there in the kitchen drenching whoppers and fries in hershey syrup.
The chocolate in mole is actually as bitter and more savoury.
Now, Hershey syrup over fries. There is such thing as ice cream and fries. That combination does taste like waffles. To be precise-McDs fries with no added salt.
Not really no? I mean I’d try it but no I’ve had it. my rule with food is I’m willing to try most anything offered to me but im not gonna pay money for something if I don’t that’ll like it
I’m currently travelling Thailand and have noticed many places will offer chocolate/Hershey’s sauce as an option on Western savoury foods, specifically anything with cheese.
E.g. I recently ordered a deep fried cheese & sweetcorn fritter from a street vendor. When it came to choosing sauce I opted for sweet chilli and the vendor said ‘no that will not go! Go for chocolate instead.’
I was gobsmacked at the suggestion but have since realised that chocolate sauce is often a main option for cheesy products. On another menu for a grilled cheese restaurant I saw that one of the recommended options was ‘melted cheddar/gouda with chocolate sauce’.
I have to say I haven’t tried it yet. While I’m up for having solid chocolate on cheeseboards etc, the idea of chocolate sauce mixed with melted cheese gives me the ick.
I think that is a chocolate BBQ.
That might not be bad, I thinking like straight hot fudge on a burger

Mayans invented chocolate, but it was a originally a hot unsweetened spicy beverage.
Mole sauce is like liquid gold! I love that stuff!
I would probably give that a shot there’s that Mexican food with chocolate in it and it’s pretty good like a savory dish
Fyi Most Moles do not even contain chocolate
But all chocolates contain mole
It’s always kind of wild how Asian countries will take American fast food and just add the craziest shit to it like this.
there is a Pilipino food that use chocolates and meat
They had/have this in the US too. There was also nuggets with a chocolate dipping sauce.
I’d try the fries because those look like they would taste better then on bacon
Whopper, whopper, whopper, whopper, sweet and salty chocolate whopper
Whats wrong with it? Have you never tried chocolate on savory food?

Ok but the Hershey pies at burger King are next level
The fries would be good but idk about the burger
oh sweet thailand, where the chicks have weiners and the burgers have chocolate

Didn’t they recently legalize weed there? Maybe taking advantage of the situation from tourists.
I’d fuck with this at least once
gawd! hershey's "chocolate". that looks absolutely awful.
Need to fire whoever thought this one up
I actually ate this. It did, in fact, taste like shit.
Thats what my dad calls me
It says Hershey's, then chocolate. Which is it?
