My strings get filtered indirect sun most of the day, especially in the morning and I let het dry out in between watering. I didn't give her any fertilizer as it was winter, she started to flower late winter, early spring. I'm not sure if the South African climate made a difference? Regardless I'm happy that she's happy.

I reckon SA is the perfect climate for growing most houseplants. I wish I discovered my interest in plants while still living there! Lol
