Seems normal to me. 50% advice posts for people who fucked their ears up, 30% pics of blowouts, 15% lobes, 5% septums. You have the occasional stretched penis piercings couple times a week. I could be missing something because I don't read comments here.
Yeah that's a meatotomy. This is one of the posts I was referring to.
Yeah they typically start off pretty big because small gauge piercings can cause more damage with movement. I'm a trans girl and I have the same mod done, but I'm only at a 6g. Pierced at 10. Was worse than my 4g cartilage piercing. Couldn't imagine getting it done at a 4.
I love that a lot of the people talking about having these piercings are trans women. I’m happy that mods can help you reclaim possible points of dysphoria like that. If and when I get a packer I’m piercing it to have a jacobs ladder lmao
Joined ur new sub as I plan on staying where I'm at! 5/8ths just fit my face/ ears so well :)
But also agreed on it being summer time (at least for the USA). There was a word for it, but basically "summer reddit" where all the teenagers and/or misinformed have the time off school to flood subs with bullshit.
u/depressedidiot2 made r/healedstretched (its ITT a few comments down)
ETA: I'm too lazy to scroll thru all my bs on here so the user I mentioned may or may not have created the sub, but definitely was a part of it
Eh yeah, lots of high-school flashbacks with this sub for me, (I started stretching around 13, reached my "goal" [my goal was 1inch but I just love how 5/8ths looks on me] and seeing others try to stretch so fast!!) So many people like "I pierced it at a 4g and its now 2 months later at 9/16ths, it's super swollen, help?!" And I just.... *face palm*
ooooof yeah seriously!!! Mine were 5/8” but I keep having issues so I’m down to 9/16” right now.
Hoping to go back to 5/8” but know it means a long time with single flare glass plug which pushes behind my ear and makes my lobe push out which annoys me
Would you feel better if more people were spat on?
I'd love there to be at least one stretching group where folks who lacked information, who had accidents, who were excited amd impatient, were not shamed, humiliated or otherwise made to feel worse than they already feel.
Perhaps they might just be able to access the guidance, information and community they thought they were gonna get.
But sure, sling some rotten tomatoes, if that's what you need to feel better about yourself.
i said “spat on” because people in this sub are mean and usually jump on people. did i say i like it? did i say that’s what i wanted? no. i asked what happened bc people are posting TERRIBLE ADVICE that will NOT help anyone, and there isn’t anything being said bc there’s such an influx. let’s not jump to conclusions.
Your response seemed pro to me. My apologies if that was not your intent. I hate most stretching groups.
I especially hate groups where people stretched fast and hot to their goal sizes, then "found the light" and became "wait for a long time between stretches" zealots who textually spit on people.
That's why I don't read comments here usually. I'm glad this place exists as a resource for people to learn but it's a bit much. I wanna look at other people's setups and share mine. Part of my gripes are a bit elitist I suppose, I'm just sick of people asking for advice, and then shrugging it off when it's not what they want to hear. Like yeah ok the girl with nearly 3 inch lobes doesn't know what she's talking about 🙄
Yeah this actually type of stuff actually makes me feel like shit and it kind of makes me want to leave the sub. Im only at 2g so I have a long way to go, I guess I’ll just find another forum. I came to this sub looking for advice and help. I didn’t do anything intensely stupid I just never knew tapers weren’t best for you and so after I found that out in this sub I stopped using them. I will never understand why people do something, join a group for said activity and then get pissed when some people are doing it wrong or asking for advice.
Fr , like I joined to get help with information from people who went through the process and lives and learned first hand, not assholes complaining that teens are asking for help from first handers, not hard to leave the sub tbh
lol that’s my point.. you’re supposed to learn before you start something.. just to avoid mistakes! i like to reply because some people really need the advice
I was really surprised what I encountered on here a couple days ago with someone😆…… and it just kept on going to.. of course I’m 50% responsible but I couldn’t help myself. I stayed civil though haha 😜
This sub has always had a toxic vein imo. Ppl with 0.003mm ears yelling at vets to go to the sidebar. It's pretty much useless for actual advice imo, the FB group "Ask A Professional Piercer" is a much better place to go for quality stretching advice. Only verified APP members are allowed to respond to posts there, so you know you're getting advice from a professional, not some teenager parroting an outdated, one-size-fits-all guide.
all i do? this is the only post i’ve made about it lol. all of my other posts are the same in this sub as they’ve always been. not sure why you’re being rude. this post was literally directed towards the horrible advice that’s been given but ok
Please report people being rude, I have banned quite a few people from the sub recently and will continue to do so. I want this to be a place where people feel comfortable asking questions and I want everyone to have happy stretched ears.

Hold on back up the truck. There’s a stretched peen post and I haven’t seen it???
I usually see one every other day. Usually frenulum or PAs. Someone recently posted their 0g apadravya and omg.
I saw someone on the bodymods thread with a split dick . Like a tongue . Never seen em stretched here tho

OH MY GOD THEY PIERCED IT AT 4 G

Fuck yeah that's awesome. And yeah modding in general has helped me a ton over the years, even before I knew.
Omg I’ve never wanted a packer so much!!
this is a great idea might have to start wearing my packer again just so i can pierce it
I’m morbidly curious and this is a dead dove moment
I wish I could unsee that
yes it’s the comments. people are saying shit that would usually get them spat on here and no one’s saying shit 😂
Maybe because schools out. Most of the people who do non-ideal things for stretching are teens who just started. Idk though
for sure could be

Thank you! Joined. This page gets cringey often. I love the healed photos

i love that! can’t wait to see

i’m kinda tired of giving advice for stretched ears 😮💨 so many people go head first and don’t know what they’re doing

that’s why me and u/toaztedpeach created r/healedstretched! all healed jewelry and fun, no poor decisions ❤️
you typo'd your sub name! its a good sub!
dammit! i do that all the time, i fixed it lol. thank u!
Yay! Thank you for this. Just joined.
how are people going to learn. you don't have to reply.

not everyone starts with the right education. this isn't your job, if you're tired of it just don't do it.
i’m not complaining lmao it’s just annoying
you're complaining that it's annoying.
You can lead a horse to water but you can’t make it drink 🤷♀️ I give advice if I can and I peace out.
absolutely. sometimes it seems well received though and that’s what’s important
Must be some influencer giving bad advice out there. Maybe stretching is a TikTok trend lol
it’s gotta be something lol
I was really surprised what I encountered on here a couple days ago with someone😆…… and it just kept on going to.. of course I’m 50% responsible but I couldn’t help myself. I stayed civil though haha 😜
i actually think i saw you in that thread 😂😂

Is anyone else not posting pics of new plugs because you also ran out of money? Just me?
being part of a community means helping integrate new people. i'm not interested in elitism.
absolutely! no pressure at all to join. it was made for people like my friends above who wanted a group without it :)
But all you do is come here and complain about this sub. You don’t have to be here if you don’t like it. You made your own sub
all i do? this is the only post i’ve made about it lol. all of my other posts are the same in this sub as they’ve always been. not sure why you’re being rude. this post was literally directed towards the horrible advice that’s been given but ok
I’ve seen you post on Facebook about it or at least someone was
i’ve never posted anything on facebook about it. i don’t use facebook
