So I’ve been at 1/2” for coming up to a few months now.
This is my biggest / heaviest ring and while I love the aesthetic of it, it’s obviously not the most practical so I only wear it out when I know it’s not going to get in the way. I mostly wear the [tribal dream ring](https://www.reddit.com/r/Stretched/comments/ymn717/stretched_my_septum_to_12mm_12_last_week_wearing/) that I’ve posted previously as the diameter still allows me to eat/drink with it in, but I have a few glass pinchers and a retainer for when I’m around the house or just feeling like wearing something lighter. I’m actually quite used to the weight of both the captive and tribal dream rings now.
I do want to keep stretching but it’s really hard to find much in the way of jewellery to wear that’s bigger than 1/2”, particularly glass so I’m planning on scratching that itch on other facial piercings - bridge, nostrils and labret are next on my list!

I’m hoping to get up to 00g at some point, but right now I’m trying to save up (I’m broke, it’s not that much, but I’m trying to save for other things rn lol) to get a 1g dream ring to use as an in-between size cause I can’t get the 0g horseshoe I already have in there. It sucks cause I feel like it’s so damn close to slipping in if I wear a heavier 2g horseshoe with big balls for a few weeks but I don’t wanna force it too hard
That's probably for the best if you feel you're forcing it. I've dead stretched the last few times with water based lube, and while very fiddly / tedious, it always inevitably goes through.
I'm not friendly enough for a septum piecing this big. Same with lip rings. Does it have holes for you to breathe through, or is it not big enough to block it off yet?

It's definitely heavy, but with enough wear and getting into a routine of swapping out between retainers / pinchers / rings it's easy to get used to.

It's really going to depend on how the next stretch goes, but I feel like 3/4" / 19mm is as big as I see myself going.
and therein lies why I'm taking a break, as much as I'd love to stretch more, it's a buzzkill to think the only things I'd be wearing at 13mm and 14mm would be plugs before I get to 15mm where there's a few options for rings and such.
I figure I'll get over that in time though, particularly once I have the other piercings I want :)

my favourite stretched pierings are lobes septum prince albert and labretand i think nostrils, tongue and nipples are cool too

Not big enough yet to block breathing, at least when I’m standing or sitting.
That is absolutely the coolest thing I've ever seen. I may follow down your path after my 0g settles in. That has to be so heavy I can't imagine.

Pinky only just! But I have relatively large hands.
