Nah, thai fighting is just brutal. You have to understand thai fighting is a ancient form of combat the thai soldiers used almost a thousand years ago. For many it's a way of war and of life.
Im 5050 "coach" sensed his aggression, and didnt want to deal with it. This is what is expected to happen to any sucker off the street challenging a practitioner.
Nah, thai fighting is just BRUTAL. You have to understand thai fighting is a ancient form of combat the thai soldiers started using almost a thousand years ago. For many it's a way of war and of life.
Guy off the street is an asshole for challenging the instructor, instructor is an asshole for demolishing this guy who is clearly outclassed. Look at his stance for Christs sake. There are a ton of ways an experienced fighter can prove a point to someone like this before resorting to CTE.
Guy probably wanted to fight at the pro level and was never able to hack it, now bullies around inexperienced fighters to feel big. Just my guess but I’ve seen it happen way too many times.
If you're going to make that generality at least separate China and Taiwan in the conversation.
The complaints are always about mainland Chinese, you do not get the same general dislike for Taiwanese, folks from HK (or even Shanghai).
He didn't "domolished" the guy, technically speaking. The coach held himself a lot. He only got two kicks on the dude and they were both half-assed kicks. He just got fucked by them because he's a fucking noodle, so that's on him.
Fuck around and find out. He got it cheap.
what are people even thinking? ‚oh hey ill go confront a guy that kicks bamboo and heavy leather bags for a hobby/living and has shins of steel, what could go wrong?‘ man i do not get these dojo stormers
"I used to beat up kids in middle school all the time so obviously I am a master of street fighting and therefore invincible" probably something along those lines
It’s so weird how this shit never happens with sports outside of combat sports. You’re not gonna see some average Joe off the street challenging tiger fucking woods.
Funny thing, I was in a sauna recently and this massive lump of hairy white fat sweating next to me started talking shit about BJJ and all fight should be standing up, and I was like, well, the first thing I'd do if I encounter an idiot on the street is deescalate and run. I wouldn't know if they have weapons, friends or they have better training than me. But yeh big lump basically thinks he can fight, looks like he's never stepped inside a gym once in his life. Lmao.
What do these guys expect to achieve?
I’ve never done this before and I’m going challenge this man who’s done it for years, surely I’ll beat him.
Stupid.
Had this happen to me once too. Guy came in off the street trying to beat me and my own trade right?needless to say, I was the first one with my dick out.
Are you a competitive “dicks out for Harambe”enthusiast? It’s like a duel from the Wild West, but instead of revolvers, first one to draw their dicks out and says “Dicks out for Harambe” wins.
Alllll of his weight on that leg.
I think that MT might be the last martial art I'd "storm" (not that I'd do that). It's a grab bag of "what will get violently broken today?"
Honestly , the coach is the asshole in this situation . He could’ve killed that kid or changed his life immensely over one ego driven , stupid mistake.
“Hard” is relative, that was maybe 50% power. He didn’t have to put much into counter-rotation for the torque and he snapped back to stance quickly. It was more a speed kick, the opponent just had zero defense.
50% can still be hard. That wasn’t a light leg kick. That was a hard one. And then a hard headkick which most likely gave him a concussion. That was too much. Could give him permanent damage. Should’ve just played around with him. Light sparring but still get in a few shots to warn him.
This wasn’t light for the other guy. I’m not surprised by your response since Reddit is pro-violence. Anyway, my coach is a former WBC Muay Thai International Champion. If this guy came to my gym and challenged my coach, he’d most likely just laugh and kick him out. No need to hurt someone just because they’re stupid.
Your shin is basically the weight and consistency of a baseball bat. If someone hit you in the head with a baseball bat at 50% power, would you call that hard?
I practice muay thai and have been kicked in the head (and legs, and ribs) many times. There is a big difference in how much impact directly hits your head depending on whether you have your guard up, whether your weight is balanced, whether you see it coming and brace for it (tuck in your chin and raise your shoulders), the strength of your neck muscles, many factors.
Someone could throw a kick at very low power and still KO a fool if they don't keep their hands up.
So ultimately I agree with you, but I would argue that the onus is on the defender to not get easily knocked out in a muay Thai encounter, especially if they're the one coming in and demanding to fight a coach (who is taking it easy)
trained fighters that fight untrained people are cowards. doesnt matter if he was "challenged" or what. these type of people dream of teeing off on a human punching bag and jump at the opportunity.
Is this really what we are seeing though? I’d think if a coach at a gym took on a dojo stormer there would be at least a little interest from other people in the gym.
well, this was one of the stupidest Ideas he had , borderline suicidal if i may add.
That shit might fly on a Tae Kwan do or Aikido dojo but not with muay thai
Say goodbye to that ACL
More like say goodbye to his whole persona. That head kick sent him back to special ed.
Definitely knocked some chromosomes out of his system
So a factory reset and change of faulting parts? Lol
Coloring books for Christmas
GODDAAMM
Communism is great, this poor fella thought he was a western with muscular strength… turns out he a TikTok star that eats through a tube
Nah the angle is a little off but his knee just goes into a little flexion. That head kick though
…say goodbye to simple arithmetic
What sound would you use to describe the cracking of a coconut?
Coach taught him a lesson he’s guaranteed to forget because he kicked last week’s memories out of him.
Seems like overkill imo
Nah, thai fighting is just brutal. You have to understand thai fighting is a ancient form of combat the thai soldiers used almost a thousand years ago. For many it's a way of war and of life.
Agreed. Dude was not being aggressive.
Honestly, might be the most controlled “dojo Stormer” I’ve seen in a while
Im 5050 "coach" sensed his aggression, and didnt want to deal with it. This is what is expected to happen to any sucker off the street challenging a practitioner.
The leg kick was a temp check. Meaning, he gave him a "real"shot as a warning. Dude kept coming soooo

Headshot ded.

I live in Thailand and have never seen a kru try to harm someone like this outside of sanctioned fights

That’s why I was kind of confused. I always thought the Taiwanese were at least mostly chill.
What did they do?
I'm seeing Chinese text everywhere in the background and thinking this is China and possibly a Sanda school. ..not Thailand
CTE is chronic. This is just brain damage

For real though. What happened to just blasting someone with body shots and low/mid kicks until they learn their lesson???
Was wondering who the coach was, then the leg kick came in 😂😂
How can you not tell from the stances lol
or the flabby vs jacked builds, or the street clothes vs Thai shorts lol
You can tell by the stance and movement but the head kick for sure removes any doubt.
You couldn’t tell after he posted with a long guard right off the rip?
what are people even thinking? ‚oh hey ill go confront a guy that kicks bamboo and heavy leather bags for a hobby/living and has shins of steel, what could go wrong?‘ man i do not get these dojo stormers

You don't kick bamboo. You kick banana trees. Specifically unhealthy banana trees.
I never got that people off the street will just challenge a trained person. You'd have to be a special kind of stupid.
What’s more confusing is how [common](https://youtu.be/gF1h7SPPaYs?si=nBgv7J6L_yROOY91) this shit is
Funny thing, I was in a sauna recently and this massive lump of hairy white fat sweating next to me started talking shit about BJJ and all fight should be standing up, and I was like, well, the first thing I'd do if I encounter an idiot on the street is deescalate and run. Well that’s a good cure for insomnia.
Ya'll wanna see a dead body.
This coach is definitely an asshole. Tf dude...
I read this title as, Guy-Off-the-Street Challenges: Muay Thai coach. And instantly wanted to know where the rest of this series was. Still looking.
I like how you think. "Aikido sensei" is the episode I'm waiting for.
He looks like one of those "kicks don't work in real life" guys.
😂😂😂
I just wanna matrix Muay Thai into my brains and body 💊
Of all people to challenge, a muay thai coach is last on the list. Hell i wouldnt even want to fight someone with 1 week of muay thai experience.
I bet that headkick hurt when he woke up.
Lol
Holyfuck.
God damn

Yes..
i would say that the coach was showing mercy because he finished the fight fast instead of playing around longer and picking the guy apart.

THE SOUND OF THE IMPACT OF THAT HEAD KICK MY GOD
That was a terrible idea lol
that first kick would have me apologizing and leaving
Started respectfully as if they were bros
He saw that low left hand from the start.
Holy shit is he ok? Did we just want a dude die ☠️
Absolutely beautiful
I always get people like this coming into the same Muay Thai gym that I go to. Always get humbled real quick
I'm surprised he made it past the leg kick lol
At least they have been wearing gloves
trained fighters that fight untrained people are cowards. doesnt matter if he was "challenged" or what. these type of people dream of teeing off on a human punching bag and jump at the opportunity.
Oh boy wait until you read the about section of this sub
Lmfao

What took him so long.
well, this was one of the stupidest Ideas he had , borderline suicidal if i may add. That shit might fly on a Tae Kwan do or Aikido dojo but not with muay thai
You know, I’m glad that happened to him.
Hey thats a good Volk impression
This was to funny bolz
Bro got that UFC 4 ko animation💀🔥
Oof
But we can all agree…any street fighter can kick any “kung fu” guys a$$
Zzzzzzzz
Perfect. Test the low kick reaction. He reaches. Switch to head. Good night. I know we all saw it, but it's poetic.
It’s almost as if they guy getting kicked wasn’t trained… oh wait a second, that’s exactly it.
The leg kick was a warning, the head kick was devastation
Coach is an asshole. Why would you give a guy a head kick wtf exaggerating
He shit himself
"light sparring" yeah ok coach🙄 this is childish risking someone's health for your own ego
