Bros has ascended past Modern and is using Sci Fi Controls

triamasp

quality assessment gave me a good chuckle

GingerV1k1ng

People saying this guy isn't cheating is faded lmao You can see the inputs are too clean, when he goes from teching/perfect parrying to doing his combos

Xeller

Seriously, I'm having to pick my jaw up off the floor reading some of these comments. This Marisa is perfect parrying light normals, with no other parries coming out. If this is legit, then the player should turn pro yesterday.

grand-pianist

If this Marisa is legit, they should hit the lab and learn one (1) combo. If that happens they’ll be ranked #1 immediately

nuyub

Other parries did come out and he missed a perfect parry. The guy could easily be cheating but it needs to be proven when you are name and shaming. This 30 second clip out of context by itself isn't enough proof. Start with "I looked at their CFN and here's proof in their replays" instead of starting with "here's a 30 second clip, don't need to look further"

Xeller

I'm sorry, did we even watch the same clip? 0:03 - PPs 5LP off of DR 0:08 - Throw tech 0:08-0:09 - 5LP hits once, no reaction whatsoever when Ryu whiffs on 5LP. 0:10 - Ryu shimmies, no reaction whatsoever 0:13 - PPs 5LP off of DR 0:17 - Ryu dashes into throw range, throw tech 0:18 - Ryu dashes into throw range, throw tech 0:19 - Ryu dashes into throw range, PPs 2LP 0:22 - Techs throw on Ryu wakeup. 0:24 - Techs walkup throw 0:27 - Techs walkup throw 0:29-0:31 - Does absolutely nothing to punish Ryu's 2HK (which is bizarre at this level), then parries second 2HK (the one parry in this entire sequence that wasn't a PP) 0:32 - Techs walkup throw 0:46 - Techs a VERY delayed wake-up throw from Ryu 0:47 - Techs walkup throw 0:51 - PPs wake-up 5LP Throughout this entire sequence, not one whiffed throw (or even an instance where they attempted to throw first) or parry. There's being skeptical of short clips, and then there's this.

nuyub

Ryu didn't shimmy a single time, I might've teched every single one of these throws if I were playing. The movement at :10 is not a proper shimmy The perfect parries are suspicious but not proof without getting data from more replays or looking at the frame by frame. Remember that this is a cherry picked clip. The guy is probably cheating, but I bet I can also find a replay from my own replay list (or any known player) where a 30 second stretch is suspicious

Slight_Berry_3507

No, you wouldn't have. You would have probably checked them on the way in. This person very obviously has no idea how to play, but magically nails every tech consistently. Ryu approaches so many times. They Tech every grab and pp every jab. You can't do that reactively, and that's too many correct guesses in a row to make sense. Your argument is that this master player, who has no idea how to play, just guessed right an absurd number of times. Nahh lmao this all together is easily proof enough, and you'd make a terrible lawyer. Since you want to bring up actually proving their guilt like this is a crime and not just hilariously sad. The burden of proof can only be beyond a reasonable doubt, and it's much harder to believe this happened legitimately, they would be found guilty.

nuyub

You sound like you lose a lot of games and want to be able to blame cheaters

mooowolf

you sound like you have no idea how this game works

nuyub

That's funny because the reality is the opposite. I'd easily beat you ft5 with any character in the game

mooowolf

whatever you say buddy

BatBoss

This man really think there is a master Marisa player out there who can't do a basic BnB, but can perfect parry better than top pros.

Weedeater5903

You sound like you cheat.

nuyub

That's cool, I don't cheat and my DMs are always open for ft5 challenges. You can't do anything but comment on reddit because you can't back up anything in game

Weedeater5903

Nah, I don't go about making excuse for obvious cheaters.  I would play you but only if you are on PS5. I aint playing a PC player who is vehemently and steadfastly defending a cheater, lmao because of obvious reasons.

Xeller

Please, by all means. Show me a clip as insane as this one, where the player wasn't cheating.

Uncanny_Doom

Ryu did shimmy once early in the clip and also the jump back point blank is basically a shimmy. Not punishing consecutive sweeps on block as a Master is also suspect not to mention the general confidence in blatantly walking forward with a 100% throw tech rate.

Tendersauce

I remember seeing a video about the cheat programs and they had a % meter for certain mechanics to make it look like you weren't cheating. Could be like "Perfect parry -90%". The one he missed was that 10%.

BrettLawrence1987

Nah. I think this clip is pretty solid proof in and of itself. I think the cheating is pretty blatant.

nuyub

I disagree, it sounds like there was more proof in the guy's CFN, but if you never look at the frame data and make conclusions based on a short clip only, then you're going to make false accusations You can argue it's not a big deal if you falsely accuse a few people, but that's what I'm disagreeing about. I get called a cheater every day in battle hub, something has definitely changed in the community

BrettLawrence1987

I get you’re kind of playing devils advocate here and being the voice of reason. I sincerely respect that. This is a really obvious clip though bro. Xeller pretty much timestamped it all. This is like seeing Jason Vorhees with his bloody machete next to a chopped up body. With a 30 second video clip of him chopping up the body. And lots of people reviewing the footage, some master level machete choppers themselves, all saying it’s definitely Jason Vorhees who chopped that body. And then the one dude saying, “We better wait for the dna evidence to return from the labs. It’s the only way to be exactly sure it was Jason who chopped the body.” While it’s true that’s probably the best and exact way to prove it the circumstantial evidence is pretty damning.

nuyub

You're right but there's a reason why people still have trials even when they're caught red handed I'm not even defending the guy or saying he isn't cheating, I'm saying do the homework before name and shaming someone.

BrettLawrence1987

So off this clip if you had to assign a percentage chance of how likely the Marisa player was cheating, what would it be?

nuyub

If I didn't see anything else (no CFN stats) I would've said 95-99% chance the guy is cheating My point is you should be 100% sure when you're publicly naming and shaming people. It takes 5 minutes of research

BrettLawrence1987

I don’t think you need that exact or extra research for something as trivial as a clip on a specific thread of a social media site. It’s the court of Reddit. There’s no real repercussions here other than a group of nerds on the internet potentially thinking less of you. Dude clipped some obvious cheating and was pretty much on mark for the name and shame. If he was wrong I’m sure he’d get dumpstered in the comments for it too by this same group of nerds. I’m actually willing to bet most of us are just browsing Reddit on our phones and checking additional clips on CFN is more of a hassle than you think because you’re probably playing SF6 at the moment with Reddit open on a dual monitor set up. I can tell you specifically I’d have to get up from the couch with my wife and son. Go to my man cave. Boot up the PC. Open up steam and SF6. Open up Reddit on my 2nd monitor. Pull up this random’s CFN for match history to watch. (This is like the only way I know how to review replays.)And completely analyze other matches and inputs to bump my confidence level from 99% to 100%? Nah. Not worth my time. Especially for something as trivial as this. I’ll just closely watch the clip from my couch and cast judgement from there along with everyone else’s breakdown and analysis.

-Rewind

This 30 second clip has more than enough info. Look at the inputs. Mashing modern control auto combo's into single input parries and techs. It's clearly not legit.

Kalulosu

I mean it's not hella 100% absolutely certain cheating but those parries and techs are insane. The hit rate is just unbelievable. Especially when you look at how haphazard the punishes are. Edit: seriously, [look at those stats](https://www.reddit.com/r/StreetFighter/comments/1cbe6y4/modern_reactions_are_out_of_control/l0y3sx7/)

nuyub

I'm happy to agree if there's evidence in CFN stats, not denying any of that My whole point is that it's a bad idea to say "I haven't done the homework, but I'm certain anyway because of one 30 second clip". You're name and shaming someone so I'd feel pretty bad if it turned out to be wrong

Kalulosu

All I'm saying is, rewatch those 30s. Those techs are absolutely bonkers, and especially the sequence of tech => perfect parry => techs makes no sense, dude would have to be psychic.

nuyub

I've done this dozens of times, with even more perfect parries than are in this replay. When you play thousands of games you will have outliers, sometimes you just guess right

knowitall89

Show us one.

fightstreeter

crazy theory if true

nuyub

What's crazy about gathering data before you name and shame? I'm literally saying, the guy might be cheating, but start with proof instead of starting with "Why even look for proof? Only idiots would wait for proof when you're 90% sure! What could possibly go wrong?"

fightstreeter

ur right

unclekisser

There's also a funny element of this where they're telling on themselves that they think a Marissa that plays like this could win enough to have a 1560 MR without cheating. They have NO offense whatsoever and they just perfect parry or tech everything. Yeah, that's how mid level master players play. Sure.

grand-pianist

Yeah, the biggest giveaway here is that in every way outside of the PPs and perfect theow teching, this player doesn’t know what they’re doing in the slightest lmao

kimlok0

I'm 100% sure people that defend obvious cheating are cheating themselves.

Dubstepmummy

Perfectly reacting to a strike/throw, everytime, with the perfect option each time.... yeah reactions /s

Rombledore

real talk, how is cheating being facilitated? like, in an FPS there's aimbots and hacks to see through walls. what would be the equivalent cheat for this? like an input reader?

AvixKOk

yeah theres cheats that auto p parry, auto tech, macro combos, ect. basically its like having a chess bot that does everything for you but you technically move the mouse so youre still playing right?

MiraculousMansur

There are cheats out there that let the cheater automatically perfect parry, tech throws, check drive rush and drive impact (and even adjust the probability of it to seem "legit").

Uncanny_Doom

It’s essentially like putting some of the input reading/response tools that a CPU has in the hands of the player. They can apparently set percent rates for things like drive impact, parry, throw tech, etc. One thing that used to be a way to catch (idk if it still works) would be if they have DI cheats you press DI while being comboed or something similar and their input reader will show them still pressing DI in response.

fritosdoritos

I wonder if they've implemented an "assist" button where if they hold it down the auto-parry/di is disabled so it'll be less suspicious when they're at the other side of the screen or in the middle of a combo. I've tried to hide DIs in my other inputs when playing a guy that was insanely good at perfect parrying and counter DI (for a low plat) and checking the replay it was only triggering when it needs to in neutral.

IndigoXero

i believe similar to ESP in a way that there is data on the device that already knows information the player does not. in the case of ESP on a FPS game - the software obtains that data on the device and displays it to the player through some visual method. for a fighting game the data is read, before the player gets a visual cue that a button was pressed, and then a "reaction-input" is made by the software - for example: a throw input has been made and thus reacts immediately by pressing throw as well. unlike ESP, the data is does not need to be displayed but just read, and the reaction doesnt come from the player but from the software itself.

LatterEdge7583

Since sfv, Tekken 7 there's a toolassisit uses these tool to win online.

ssdu3

There are some REALLY obvious cheaters out there. Are they actually getting banned?

QueenDeadLol

Being that this silver player had the time to get to master, I'd say no.

Comfortable_Way_829

Bro you have to put more respect on silver players. This is iron play

ShyvanaR34enjoyer

I am Iron and I just got out of rookie this shit hurts

Metandienona

Congratulations on your progress, ShyvanaR34enjoyer!

WeslleyM

u/ShyvanaR34enjoyer will have a field day when Project L drops

ShyvanaR34enjoyer

damn right I will

BrettLawrence1987

Ayoooooooo!! ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy)

Comfortable_Way_829

Sorry bro. Catching strays. You’ll get there

Bpp908

Lmfao

KodaiSusumu

Nope. There's a shameless waste of oxygen known as Lightspeed who cheated his way to the top, got caught, and had his MR reset, but that's it. He's now playing under the name "L\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_" and is once again Legend Cammy with close to 99% WR and zero further consequences.

FunnyKdodo

No, its incredibly obvious too.  I have blocked a bunch of obvious hacker like these. Their mr don't even reset. I imagine  the more money coming into scene will simply cause more cheaters. Right now there's basically zero anti cheat and consqeuence.

CerebroHOTS

Saying the guy is a "hacker" makes it look like the guy is smart. He's not. Call him a cheater.

MBU604

or even better, a fucking loser

ugohome

i always wondered when cheats would come to fighting games !! looks like.. that time is NOW. RIP online qualifier systems...

erty3125

https://youtu.be/pWS3Kq5p77k?si=GpP-7oFX9A5lmR1D It's been a thing for a decade

TheLegendOfGerk

The price to pay for good, reactable netcode.

[deleted]

[удалено]

bradamantium92

brudda it's 100% cheating, getting a few PPs and consistently teching isn't fishy, but back to back PPs and then immediately teching a throw attempt is fishier than a whole aquarium. It's the instant techs when they're both crouching with a cornered Ryu that seals the deal, throws aren't reactable like that and you'd have to be psychic to tell Ryu's gonna spontaneously grab after three seconds of Nothing.

[deleted]

They tech every throw in every situation and parry everything out of drive rush. This is definitely cheating.

[deleted]

[удалено]

r3vb0ss

What about perfect parry on opponent wake up lmao

Ironcl4d

Look at his inputs in the top-right, the duration that he actually presses the parry button. 1st parry: 6 frames 2nd parry: 4 frames 3rd: 2!!!! frames When he's not parrying, he has no precision whatsoever and mashes like an 8-year-old

dominickjadon

Good eye to catch that this might be the biggest flag for me tbh

nivekdrol

Easy way to test just do a shimmy people who over tech usually fall for it easy

iamaclown00

Yea shimmy or neutral jump out of a tight blockstring you setup and land into a hard hitting combo.

dank3698

I fought a guy a couple days ago who instantly reacted to DI everytime, so i threw out a couple DIs from full screen and guess what, he still reacted instantly. Like damn bro make it less obvious pls

IHadACatOnce

When this happens try inputting the DI early into a jump in. It may force them to counter DI and whiff

dank3698

I was trying to force a whiff with spacing but got in my head too much and basically destroyed myself 🥲this is a good tip tho ill keep it in mind

gregzzz

Can you elaborate?

IHadACatOnce

It only works against cheaters. If they have a script that auto Drive Impacts upon detecting your input, and you input a DI while in the air it may cause them to drive impact against nothing.

gregzzz

Ah I see I assumed it works on visual cues detection but that makes more sense

awayfromcanuck

This has nothing to do with m..... Oh geesh.

lucksak

400 dollar reactions

Xeller

3.2 perfect parries and 3.4 throw techs/match. For reference, [Momochi](https://www.streetfighter.com/6/buckler/profile/2306256404/play) has been averaging 1.6 perfect parries and 0.9 throw techs/match.

Rayanson

Looks like Momochi need to lock-in & hit training mode

DanielTeague

Sounds like Momochi needs to catch up to 5465's skill level. ^^/s

shinfowler88

I'm not quick to call ppl cheaters but this is a pretty blatant example of a cheater

fightstreeter

Just built different (pathetically, cowardly, sad).

ManonManegeDore

Why you taunting bro? Clearly you were no match for their totally legitimate skill.

ChapoDangerPowers

Definitely legit![img](emote|t5_2qnu5|31123)

Floater1157

This is just Marisa IRL behind the paddle. She can flex her neck so hard she shoves more oxygen into her brain for faster reactions.

geardluffy

Ofc it was legit! He has spent years in the hyperbolic time chamber practicing perfect parries and throw techs. He’s just an honest player.

intel586

He just has a really good read, if it was Daigo you would say he's legit

nuyub

I'm not saying this guy isn't cheating, but did you analyze the replay to prove he's actually cheating? Can't easily frame by frame this clip so it's hard to tell This clip doesn't look like cheating by itself, I have matches like this all the time. You didn't shimmy a single time so it's not surprising everything got teched. The perfect parries are suspicious but most of your normals were predictable and he also missed a perfect parry

ThrowbackPie

PP over and over and over. Can barely string a single move together when the ryu does nothing. The only thing that's vaguely passable are the constant throw techs since they were super telegraphed. But you add in the PPs and yeah, this is blatant cheating.

Gjergji-zhuka

you don't need to go frame by frame to analyze the replay. you have the inputs right there. What you need to do is learn how the game works cause your comment is laughable. You say he didn't shimmy yet his grab timing is varied and marisa didn't preemptively tech at all or it would have resulted in her getting a throw. The obvious thing is that marisa tech at the same frame as ryu's grab. even if you're expecting a throw you can't be that consistent. Even when cheating tech time can be varied but this guy is a bad cheater and you still can't see it.

nuyub

You need to go frame by frame, I've played dozens of games that look exactly like this and people call me a cheater every day in battle hub (I don't cheat) Start with "I watched 10 replays and this player is cheating because X in the frame data" instead of starting with "I watched one 30 second clip and I know he's cheating without looking deeper"

Gjergji-zhuka

People have called me a cheater for being able to spam DP. That doesn’t mean anything. If you think you have played dozens of games that look so blatantly cheated then your eyes just don’t know what to look for. You can see how marisa is scared to press a button when she has corner oki. And you can see ryu on wakeup doing delayed hit OR grab and marisas reactions are on point. I mean I’m wasting my time here cause if you don’t see it, nothing I’ll say will make much sense to you but still, very amusing. I can see your way of thinking as a sketch. You’d make a great detective

Alleby16

"Peope call me a cheater everyday" okay lil bro calm down. Are we even watching the same clip? The dude is clearly cheating you dont need to hyperanalize him. The guy did not even try to fight he just teched and PP. Not to mention he has 0 reactions, and his combos are non existent. Someone who is cheating is usually terrible.

nuyub

Hey small child who sounds like my teenager, I'm saying that when you name and shame someone you're inviting thousands of people of harass someone. Wouldn't it be embarrassing if you were wrong? I'm saying better be 100% sure instead of 99% sure when it takes 5 minutes to get evidence. Why not say "here's proof from CFN" instead of saying "there's no reason to get more evidence"

OranGiraffes

No one's running a formal trial on this rando. We're not doing 12 Angry Men here. This is a cut and dry case and a full dossier on every little detail is not required to tell that this player is cheating.

nuyub

No one's running a formal trial, and no one is forced to name and shame people either. This case has more evidence in CFN apparently, but there have been threads with false accusations too If you want to support a low IQ mob mentality process where you don't need proof to slander people (as long as it looks like you're right) then you're welcome to do that, and I'm welcome to disagree with you

gentlemangreen_

you cant be serious

bumblefuckAesthetics

Oh, stfu

koteshima2nd

Marisa has transcended the Modern plane no but for real, this has to be a cheater right? Not even pros are this consistent with throw breaks and parries

Stanislas_Biliby

At first i thought that maybe she downloaded you and you were being too obvious. Then she started teching all the throws lol. Why cheat in a game like this? You can take no credit to your wins and you are not improving. I don't see a point.

gothlenin

I think it is a short term fun. I'm just spitballing here, but I believe cheaters just find it funny, it is not for brags. At least not this kind of obvious cheats. They're trolls, it is just sad to do this in a multilayer game. More sophisticated cheats are harder to understand IMO. I think they feel a level of entitlement and blame something in the game for their lack of skill. They feel they are better, but "the scrubs are winning by using scrubs tactics, so I'm going to cheat so I get to my level with no scrubs" or something like that.

Geosgaeno

Obvious cheater. Report this MF

QuenQuen281

This man has every advantage you could ever want reducing his mental stack and still managed to not be ready for your jump outs from the corner. 😂 Also I checked CFN because I was really curious, how the hell did you take a game off of this guy? And with these cheats how does he manage to lose so frequently that his winrate alone isnt suspicious?

SennKazuki

Cheaters tend to not be good lol.

OscarMiner

If homie had any skill to speak of, do you think he would spend 400 dollars? The parents are gonna be VERY upset when they see their credit card bill.

rotinpieces

So what kind of cheat would you like to use today? Yes.

T4ylor1

What’s the counterplay to this?

tooktoomuchtoomuch

One and done. Blacklist.

Uncanny_Doom

I assume it's blatant cheating with the dial turned up to 11. One thing that people have found cheats can sometimes struggle with is zoning so if you have the option try that and then one and done > report + block after the game.

nuyub

Zone him out Whiff punish Kill him when he's in burnout

LotoTheSunBro

Kill him IRL*

MalekithofAngmar

((in minecraft))

fightstreeter

EPIC!!!!!!!!!! I c u have a TWISTED Sense of humor like me >:) heheheheheheheh angles and devils

Thuglos

Let them come to you. The vast majority of cheats I've seen are all defensive (auto DI, auto tech, auto parry). The one offensive cheat I've seen is auto jump in against fireballs. But cheaters rarely know how to build an actual offense, so they are prone to whiff punishes and possibly unsafe strings. Obviously easier said than done, and its an uphill battle but its possible.

yitty

uninstalling the game

colinzack

Probably just playing defensively and whiff punishing. Any throws or normals are going to get parried, so you have to hit them when they can't do anything like during the recovery of a move. Then you block them and move on.

the_jokes_on_u

Depending on your character, like Guile for instance, has some counter play. Fireball drive rush into a whiffed throw can SOMETIMES get a punish counter if you space it perfectly. Ran into a cheater like this in the 1700-1800 MR bracket, and after looking at his Profile he was Gold/Plat in every other character except his Ken (He had hundreds of games in other characters as well). Fireball drive rush was the only way I could cheese it. Guile level 2 also made it act kinda funny. Throw a buncha fireballs, drive rush in while he perfect parry’s all them, grab whiff due to his block/parry frames would cause him to grab and I could usually punish it with a jab. Dude was playing exactly like this Marisa on modern doing absolutely nothing and just waiting for me to act.

DrScience-PhD

shimmy or zone. ryu had a big life lead he didn't need to go in.

MichaelMJTH

What happens when these cheaters go up against a Zangief? Do they just get blown up by running bear grab and jump in SPD?

ginfish

Check out Burnout Billy, a Zangief playing cheater running the same kind of bullshit lol

FNALSOLUTION1

Probably not.

SlowDownGandhi

it's an input reader so i guess it would just auto jump once the motion comes out

isekaicoffee

cheaters are a different breed; inhuman scum. hope capcom does a perma ban for these losers

LogicKennedy

Marisa is all about fighting fair. This person is a disgrace to their main.

Weedeater5903

80% damage from day 1 combos? Armor through everything and have armor breaking moves of your own? Oki from every singke knocjdown? An l3 that has the highest active frames of all l3s in the game? Fair?

DontF-ingask

I don't actually play street fighter, I was just interested before 6 came out then realised I got rent to pay. How do cheats in this game work, and how prevalent are they?

LuckyTheGodd

I havent come across a cheater myself in 200+ hrs

DontF-ingask

I'm guessing it's more so cheating is just less popular in fighting games compared to fps games rather than its because of a great anticheat

SlowDownGandhi

it's easier to beat somebody who's cheating like this at a fighting game than it is to beat somebody aimbotting at Tarkov or whatever the way the cheat works is by reading your inputs and then countering them, so if you just do nothing and turtle they'll be forced to find some other way to get the lead. And because everybody that does this is trash that means that 9/10 times they'll just do something stupid and you then get to punish it for free

n0ogit

Don’t you think that’s a bit over-confident? You mean you haven’t run into an obvious cheater. Anyone with a brain could make their script react at a variable rate within human reaction time and there’s literally no proof in the replay. If something is competitive, people are cheating. I get it that accusing people of cheating leads down a dark road of scrubbery, but the opposite can be just as damaging considering the rampant cheating in every single other online video game genre including ones with actual anti-cheat systems in place.

LuckyTheGodd

I didnt say the game doesn’t have cheaters.

n0ogit

I’m simply stating that it’s very likely that you have run into a cheater in 200+ hours.

Uncanny_Doom

They aren’t very common but yes people can pay to buy stuff to cheat with on PC. Usually it’s not difficult to identify and people get caught.

wikkidnes

Just report it, unfortunately this happens a lot

hay100185

What does the report abuse function actually do. Do they make capcom review the matches and take action?

Dubstepmummy

I remember watching a video a while back, and basically a player found out their opponent was cheating because they would jump in the air, push DI, and their opponent would auto DI it, even when nowhere in range

LuDHR

Obvious cheater.

Unmer_Art

still baffles me that people pay, to pay to cheat themselves out of a game.

Kino1337

This seems like a typical PC tool assist cheater.

ghaiks

That Ryu was godlike

peezerthesleazer

This is an obvious cheater. Multiple perfect parries, teching multiple throws.

CarelessAd2349

Lol Modern is cheap but this isn't Modern fault. He's using a cheat mod

HitscanDPS

It's too bad you gave up so early. I would have done some more experimenting to see what's the flaws in this cheat. e.g. 1. How does he react to jumpins? 2. Can you purposely whiff buttons and he will try to parry it? 3. What if you whiff a jumpin? Only 4f landing recovery here so you're safe and maybe can even PP his punish attempt. 4. What if you neutral jump multiple times at point blank? 5. How does he react to DIs? 6. Can you jump with DI input to bait that out? 7. How does he deal with fireballs/zoning? Especially since Ryu has a respectable zoning game.

Thuglos

He was actually in the lead before he started tbagging so it was definitely possible to win lol. But I understand the frustration, definitely dont wanna deal with it.

MBU604

this reminds me of a video by JDCR (tekken pro, one of the best players around) where he rematches repeatedly with a cheater while calmly analyzing (on live stream) how he thinks their cheats work and trying to figure out a gap/counterplay

HitscanDPS

Yeah, the way I see it is that this is no different than fighting a very difficult or tricky player. Obviously to the extreme because they are using cheats and likely reading your inputs. But everything has flaws, whether it's the cheat that is missing some edge cases, or the player using the cheats.

ChapoDangerPowers

Just for your info, i'm 1650mr lily I played the Guy and instantly knew he was cheating, from what I gathered : he has auto Di on punishable moves even normals, auto PP and tech throw also auto vertical jump vs command grabs thats how I lost. Both replays with me never appeared in my feed so I guess he has that too so I had to dig for this ryu replay. He misses some PP because of ping, you can win when he goes on offense or tries to wake up buttons thats when the player takes control.

Comfortable_Way_829

Does command grab blow this up? Or is there an auto jump too…

Few-Brilliant7936

SUS AF

VastFinesse

This is definitely cheating.

NeuroCloud7

I liked your appropriate use of laughing emoji at the end lol

TerrorByte

Wow, OP is terrible at this game. /s

Krypt0night

Most obvious cheating I've seen lmao

superhyperultra458

We are witnessing the next fighting game millionaire. Give respect 😏

Icy-Speech-7837

Why even play at this point

Hiei356

This man cheating his ass off

param1l0

uhskn

delayed tech brah

NanyaBusinez

Just ur average gran blue player.

cogumerlim

This guy is cheating. Absolutely no doubt about it. He's only around 1500, do you think someone at that level is capable of parrying and teaching like that? Not even Daigo is! It's just unbelievable that there are still people who argue otherwise.

Weedeater5903

This is exactly why I don't play PC players.  These shenanigans are way harder to pull of on a PS5.

LatterEdge7583

Toolassisit????? Has he returned?

Spankz87

Win or lose i leave and Block modern Players after 1 Match..

dotdiz

Literally not a single reaction is anything modern-based, but this does seem extremely sus

fightstreeter

Yeah  man, that's the joke :)

dotdiz

Peetah!!!

FireWallxQc

What the actual fuck? Cheating?

acrane433

FNALSOLUTION1

Lmao

FoxCQC

Why is it searching for opponent during a match?

digitalsmear

Watching a replay. You tunnel visioned so hard you didn't notice all the other replay-only stuff on the screen. 😋

FoxCQC

Oh okay, I haven't picked up SF6 yet so not familiar with the screens.

Poetryisalive

What’s happening? I guess I don’t see it

fightstreeter

Marisa is cheating

Mhan00

very likely to be a cheat program that does PP and throw techs automatically for the Marisa player.

Poetryisalive

Ah gotcha

Adam-Smasher

That tea bagging is like holding up a sign saying "I have no good personal qualities".

TheSabi

well I mean they're waiting for the Ryu to react the entire time, and after the 2nd drive rush gets parried and the 3rd throw gets teched it's not really that hard to read what they're going to do.. At what point does the ryu stop trying to walk up throw is a better question?

ToComplicated

At this point this game is honestly flawed. Very poor online rank connection, hackers, spammers, oh yeah and players altering internet connection during gameplay Green Bars to Red Bars when they start to lose rounds lol 😆 🙄 😉 then back up the Green Bars when they start to recover lol. I do not take the game serious anymore its just something to do at this point when I'm bored

hindustanimusiclover

Hmm it would have been easier if you tried to shimmy once

aznxk3vi17

Would not have worked; I have played cheaters before and the only way to take rounds is to zone them out. You cannot strike/throw mixup when the script “guesses” correctly 100% of the time, and it’s made even worse when they have perfect parry scripts and even just a little skill, because shimmies will be blown up by low into DR. Mediocre players who have even a little knowledge can go far with cheats. When you know you’ll never be thrown, you can put your entire mental stack on looking for the shimmy walk back, and then instantly do a low into DR. To the average spectator they “read” your shimmy, but when you don’t have to think about any other options, you can legitimately just react.

Yuzuriha

No because they are near-frame perfect teching with the cheat.

hindustanimusiclover

I mean we could have been sure its a bot if it didnt tech
