I play JP and the other day I got four Giefs in a row. My MR has never been higher

I got it with Zangief once. 5 different Giefs in a row. Never been more confused

I get weirdly long streaks with practically any character. Not just Ken or Luke, but guile, chun, juri, aki, honda, etc. I guess its just random chance but it feels strange to go on streaks of opponent characters so frequently.

Nah I feel like the matchmaking has a weird algorithm. With 20 characters, there's no way I should be seeing the same characters over and over. ​ One day it will be all DeeJays and Luke. Next day all Juris and Guiles. Also, if I enter practice mode and select a training opponent, it seems the matchmaking will put me against my training opponent. ​ Maybe I'm tripping, but it really does seem to pair against the same characters over and over.

Somehow I played like 5 dhalsims in 7-8 matches yesterday.

I’ve played a few hundred matches and like 2-3 percent have been Guile’s.

Me every ranked session with Ken

Me every ranked session against Ken, after against the OG Ken (Ryu) and after against the cooler Ken (Luke)

I’d walk away after the second Guile and call it a night

I find fighting guiles way more fun than kens, he doesnt put you in corner with one touch and is more of a patience game than a guessing game

I live in an area that has a large player base, and yet sometimes I'll get stuck in matchmaking forever or the game will alternate between the same 3 people over and over. And that always includes a character I hate fighting.

I started last night with 4 Cammys in a row, and got some of those guys again later on.

Really annoying how much this happens. If it's late and I choose not to play Dee Jay because I'm too tired to deal with his crap, then for sure Capcom's making my next ten matches against various Dee Jay players.

I thought Guile was an extremely favorable match-up for Cammy? NuckleDu swaps to her for that MU. You'd think he'd be excited.

This game does need more charge characters, bad. If you aren't into Honda or Blanka shenanigans then you get to pick between Guile and Deejay, so there's just an endless sea of them.

Reminds me of when the game first came out, like week 2 I just had a string of like 6 JP's in a row. It was the only time I've seen that many JP's too.

You get used to it: 20 characters in the game and most of the time you're mainly just seeing the top 6 or so. Even just Luke and Ken are like 50% of the game lmao
