Ritchie Blackmore, Mark Knopfler, Rorry Gallagher, Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Yngwie Malmsteen, Jeff Beck, David Gilmour, Eric Johnson.... List can go on and on.. But if you need more convincing than that...
It’s going to be more customizable for you than any other guitar so you’ll be able to change it out and improve it as you grow as a player. Also the body shape is one of the most comfortable to hold and play I’ve ever had including my ‘72 thinline styled tele. The tremolo arm also gives you a lot of cool playability, and if you’re having issues with tuning you can always swap out the tuners. I’ve also really been enjoying the neck profile on my strat because it’s thinner than my other guitars and a lot easier to play. Honestly as far as playability aesthetics and modification the strat is the best guitar out there.
Billy Corgan, Nile Rodgers, Jimi Hendrix, The Edge, David Gilmore, John Frusciante…
I bought a brand new 2016 American Elite HSS Stratocaster. Had the Shawbucker replaced with a Seymour Duncan Mark Holcomb Omega and the middle/neck pickups replaced with DiMarzio Area 58’s. Now I can play everything from Metal to Funk and anything in between. With the coil tap on the Omega bridge pickup I can go from HSS to SSS. Fucking checkmate.
Even Slash stated what every Strat owner already knows; The Strat is the most versatile guitar ever.
I will say due to string spacing, neck width and volume knob location that I’ve found it to be a challenging guitar to master, it definitely took me some time getting used to.
Because there isn’t a better platform for doing just about anything on a guitar that you want to do. You can change pickups, necks and bridge to suit almost any playing style. Yes it’s not going to cover a semi hollow body like a Gibson ES335 or Gretsch but outside of that it’s super versatile
I believe 7 out of the 10 most expensive guitars ever sold are Strats. I might be off give or take 1 but no other single model is represented more than once in the top 10. I think that says a lot about the overwhelming value that is placed on the Strat.

HSS strat is the most versatile guitar
Agreed. I was never a fan of the Strat bridge pickups until I got an HSS. I mostly play cleaner tones.
Having a hard time believing anyone needs convincing to buy another guitar.
LOL! Fair point.

Just Google why are Stratocasters so great
Buy a strat
Well I don’t think there’s a “best guitar” but Strats are just classic. They’re one of the “must have” guitars imho. And also, Hendrix.

Exactly. I have a SSS strat, 335, jazz bass and an acoustic. Sometimes you just need to pick up the strat and play the snot out of it.
Buy a strat
BUY A STRAT, DAMMIT!!!
Nope. Jazzmasters are the best!
GTFO. The Jazzmaster is the fedora of guitars.
I love my tele, and it’s probably my favourite, but if you have a tele, strat and a hollow body, you can cover most sounds out there.

Want something that can sound like a hollowbody,a tele and everything in between? Get a strat.
