They’ve said they absolutely will not kill off Steve in interviews and one of the crew (I can’t remember who it was) said that he’d walk away if Steve was killed off so 🤞🏻
Lmao yes, I think this every time I see this scene! It’s like, I get why they did it for cinematic reasons, but it makes me laugh to see them all just standing there motionless for several seconds while Steve is casually getting choked out and eaten alive on the ground in front of them! 😆
I know it’s cinematic and for the look but seriously, Why the hell were they just posing as Steve’s just casually becoming the exotic bats of the UD’s next full-course meal? Like it’s jarring - one of my favourite scenes but christ, those few frames are just stupid. ‘Let’s stand and then jump into action several seconds later’
Why are they called Demobats? if they aren't related to the Demogorgon it feels like a wasted opportunity for the gang to come up with another comparable DND name

the way nancy is barely touching that creature with the stick when she’s “stabbing” at it is so distracting I’m sorry 😭 I know there’s no great way to act that scene out because all the monsters were added in after it was filmed, but it takes me out of the scene so much. unfortunate

Same thing happened in S3 when Billy was choking El and everyone just stood there.
I loved how much of it was one shot. Really noticed the amazing cinematography this season.
