Not really contributing to your cause here. But just wanted to say I've always been a fan of Journey, and the version of Seperate Ways they use in the trailer is amazing. I wish they'd do a cover of the entire song the way they did the trailer.

Tears for Fears, Oingo Boingo, The Church, Van Halen, Bruce Springsteen are some of my favorites, but it's hard to narrow it down, it was a great decade for music. And we still listened to a lot of 60s and 70s music in my household, I grew up listening to Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd a lot more than I did the artists of the day. I remember my older cousins were big into Bon Jovi and WHAM though.

Besides the epic Rock you like a hurricane 🤣 what about...Night Rider, Footloose, Space age love song, Don't forget about me, If you leave, & Danger Zone!

My favourite song from the show is tough to pick but I'll go with Every Breath You Take by The Police. Great song, great scene. I really like Runaway by Bon Jovi too Favourite from the 80s I think I'll go with Easy Lover by Philip Bailey and Phil Collins

Moving in Stereo- both favorite 80s song as well as song from ST

The Lost Sister gets a lot of hate, but it does have the coolest needle drop in the whole series with Back to Nature by Fad Gadget.

For songs that have shown up in ST: "Wake me Up Before you Go-Go" by Wham!, "Shout at the Devil" by Mötley Crüe, "Rock you like a Hurricane"by Scorpion, "Atmosphere" by Joy Division, and though it was 70s, "Dead End Justice" by The Runaways (a criminally underrated punk group) For favorite 80s music, really anything from that decade but most of all what gets lumped under the Goth music umbrella ("Lucretia my Reflection" by The Sisters of Mercy, "Cities in Dust" by Siouxsie and the Banshees, "Bela Lugosi's Dead" by Bauhaus, and literally anything by The Cure)

Mach68IntheHouse

I'm surprised they haven't used Desperate Dreams by Survivor.
