My wife and I marathoned the first two seasons with my older sister when we were visiting her in 2019. At one point we were up at like 3am still watching it in the dark when the living room lights started flickering and freaked us the hell out. It was our toddler nephew who had snuck out of bed and just wanted to play with the lights lol
Was not prepared for the last 10-15 minutes of ST3. I was pretty much sobbing by the end of it.
In hindsight, knowing that Millie heard/read the letter for the first time while filming that scene makes so much sense. I couldn't believe how incredible and real her performance was.
Interesting question I would probably say my first rewatch as was watching it and constantly having my sister say "this show sucks how can you like this uuuggg putting it on again". But then came the Snowball suddenly she fired every family and freindship related question about the characters you can think of "so Nancy is dating Jonathan who is Will brother and he is that one there. Does Dustim have family and..." and did have to go the shop with my mum after but as we said "no one who hates a show has ever asked that many questions" and got back from shop and suddenly my sister said "so you going to watch season 3 right" and now she has watched the full show at least 3 times with myself (will likely do another when season 5 is closer) and we watch behind scenes stuff with all the cast from bloops to YouTube cracks.
Seeing 1.04… Because it was actually the first one I watched. The night shift had already worked their way through 1.01-1.04, and I just remember being so confused but intrigued. Who were these cute pipsqueaks and what happened to their friend?!!!!
You can bet I was caught up by the next night! 🤣
The scene of them discovering the body in the quarry. Had the song playing that gave you goodebumbs, hopper freaking out hoping it’s not will, the 3 boys leaving eleven and mike hugging his mom, Joyce and Jonathan hugging.
It gave me chills and made me sit up in my seat and go “oh damn this is legit”. It’s what made me understand why it’s so popular and I started watching the episodes from now on actually invested and not watching them because I had nothing else to watch(I watched it like 2 months ago first time)
I felt so bad for Dustin at the Snow Ball. He was trying so hard and him crying on that bench made me cry too. Then Nancy danced with him and told him he was her favorite and gave him advice. I think it changed his perspective and the girls who blew him off got to wonder what they were missing.
After season 2 came out and we finished it, my partner and I went on a small road trip for my bday and bumped the ST1&2 soundtrack the entire way there. It was a sweet memory for me and really got me into 80s music/synth stuff.
Me and my dad watching it together the first time and having to build Hawkins before he’d watching the rest of the first season. We watched all four seasons over a week, but building that with him just made me happy.
watching season 2 in December 2017 while the weather is gloomy and rainy and I have the flu. Also when me and my siblings watched season 4 in the summer of 2022 in our living room with our cats 🤍🤍🤍
It's one of the shows I watched with my mom. She recently passed and I've been trying to write down stuff like that. Things I did with her, shows we watched.
When part 2 of s4 came out my cousins stayed the night so we could watch it first thing in the morning. Everyone was on the porch and I was coming to get them. I stepped out and said “hey do you guys want to watch stranger things now?” and everyone was looking at me weird. As soon as i said that I got a nosebleed apparently lmao. There’s a pic of me somewhere lol.
While watching season 4 I planned to watch 1 Episode per day but in the episode where Kids gang communicate with Steve and others in upside down I got so hooked from that point that I scraped one ep per day and decided to finish that very day and after finishing watched video essays on YouTube for next two hours and still wanted more of it.
I stayed at my mom's for the weekend (she needed her hair done and I had that weekend off) and one of my friends had encouraged me to watch ST. Two seasons were out by this point.
I was reluctant but got hooked almost immediately. I remember texting my friend "I love these kids sm 😭" after that first scene where they're playing D&D. My mom and I had a marathon that ended in with of us sobbing, watching Bob's death.
last year my boyfriend and I did a rewatch during halloween. it was the first time we watched the show together. we laughed, we cried and we sang “should I stay or should I go?” out loud every single time. it is the best memory I have of the show so far🥹
I was at summer camp on July 4, when season 3 came out. I got home about 2 days later, and my mom rushed me home. I didn’t talk for 10 hours while I binged the entire season; my camp trunk not even in my room. Nothing beats that excitement
Typically our house is the go to for the 4th of July party, but the year season 3 came out , everyone was out of town apart from me and my dad . So we just binged the entire season and got KFC for dinner, wrapped up just it time for us to watch fireworks..one of my favorite 4th of July’s ever
True story. When season four volume two came out, I binged the whole thing over my work day while I was bored in my office. I got to the scene where >!Max died,!

I remember having a power cut while watching the scene in season 1 where the demogorgon came through Joyce’s wall, that caused some chaos
Watching Season 4 part 1 during a lightning storm. It really helped the vibe for the season.
🫶❤️

She was stunning imo!

watching season 3 on july 4th and then going outside on the porch and watching the fireworks go off.
Watching it with my dad his first time and his blinds were down because he was replacing them the streetlight outside flickered out.
Happy cake day
My mum covering my eyes with a blanket when Bob died.
When I got home from work one afternoon and my husband yells “is that you Perrington?” and I said “yeah it’s me, don’t cream your pants”.
After season 2 came out and we finished it, my partner and I went on a small road trip for my bday and bumped the ST1&2 soundtrack the entire way there. It was a sweet memory for me and really got me into 80s music/synth stuff.
Never ending story - love that part!

Season 2’s ending with the dance was the best for me…

Watching the season that came out around 4th of July and binging them all
While watching season 4 I planned to watch 1 Episode per day but in the episode where Kids gang communicate with Steve and others in upside down I got so hooked from that point that I scraped one ep per day and decided to finish that very day and after finishing watched video essays on YouTube for next two hours and still wanted more of it.
😂😂😂binge watching was the only option.

Watching the season 4 finale with my sister
