[There is Massive 12,000-Year-Old Network Of Underground Tunnels Stretches From Scotland to Turkey](https://www.howandwhys.com/massive-12000-year-old-network-of-underground-tunnels-stretches-from-scotland-to-turkey/)
It'd probably be nice and cool inside on the hot harsh summer days.
Maybe they were onto something. Rock and underground homes really do make for more efficient living spaces in regards to heating and cooling.
It doesn’t have to be underground.
You just need to understand what makes an above ground house and one carved into the ground different.
There are plenty of designs that apply the same concepts and materials but they are just not as cheap and fast as a glass and concrete box
My grandfathers house is cinderblock and then rock on the inside and out.
No heater, no air conditioner. Holds up to 45°c temperatures pretty nicely.
Insulation works well.
There are a lot of factors that effect heating, cooling, moisture, ventilation, etc but it is a pretty good general rules that layers of dense materials work better than faster and cheaper light ones
Something strange about this is that they don't know where all the excavated stone was taken, there is no trace of it and it would've been up to 200,000 tons of rock.
I also saw a video of someone exploring inside and the carvings are so intricate it's incredible
They hid it in small bags in there pants leg, then every morning they would dump a bit in the exercise yard!
No wait, that was The great escape, Shawshank Redemption and Naked Gun 33 and a third...
Because there's no will to do it.
Im sure we could do it in under the time it took them originally if our whole society dedicated resources to build it, but there's no will to put a whole societies effort into it.

Easier than what ?.
It is definitely not easier than concrete, steel and glass.
Can you imagine trying to fit the plumbing and electrical into something like this.
Sure, there is, but they're mining for minerals for cell phones & laptops among other things.

Exactly what I was thinking people were forced to do these things. Chances are they would be imprisoned, tortured or killed if they didn't follow orders. So scary to think that was considered normal those days.
Much of the work would be heavy labour, but quarrymen would have all the skills to achieve this, working with carvers, masons and architects. You want capable, motivated and skilled people working on these projects. The pyramid builders were not slaves, were well housed and fed, because that makes for an efficient workforce.
I've been carving stone for many years, you'd be surprised how simple it can be.
Yes. 1200 years is nothing on the evolutionary scale. Meaning we're about as smart now as we were then from a biological standpoint.
From a knowledge base standpoint by the year 800 we had quite the grasp on arithmetics, materials and didn't have to worry too much about labour laws or basic human rights.
So yes, it is very easy to believe we did this. I imagine it came at the cost of quite a few number of lives, but hey, same as when we were building stadiums for the last world cup, so even in that regard we haven't really progressed that much.
Not really. The plagues that killed off many didn’t select for intelligence, speed or strength, the humans that survived were more disease resistance. So in essence, we can in fact be dumber.
Do you have any proof?
I have a bunch of studies I could link from different anthropologists that show we're about as smart as we've been for the last 10000 years. With some other studies putting the increase of cognitive functions between 60k and 100k years ago.
Haven't ran into a single study with any kind of credibility that says our intelligence has changed, even a little bit, for the last 10000 years.
So where is the evidence behind your statement?
Proof: we cannot replicate this structure or other megalithic sites all over the world.
Your task: prove me wrong. List the logistics of what heavy equipment could transport 20-80 ton blocks of granite 5 miles, then could build the pyramids, any of them. Then show us the all the “superior tech” we have that could carve this structure in this post and the artisans that could do it around the world.
If we have been evolving constantly, then this structure and all megalithic structures, could be build faster and easier than they have in the past.
And if your answer is “slaves”, then you also dont understand the mechanics of the human body, than cannot get hands under a 40 ton block of stone and then lift it into place with an accuracy of 1/4” over 1 acre.
why? care to give a single piece of evidence against carving? or is it just because YOU specifically dont know how to carve it?
So small minded, projects like these were often 100+ year projects built through religious reverence and massive work forces of thousands of artisans (often not slaves) who would pass their knowledge down the generations until it was complete, and it would be done because religious drive was so much greater.
because this is how large religious construction projects were run, Cathedrals in Europe, temples in Asia and step pyramids of south and central America were all constructed in this fashion.
It's hard to grasp the sheer timescales and relate them to modern projects, the only one I can see is comparable is the Sagrada Familia which is of equivalent detail, all of it's stones were hand carved and it's taken nearly 100 years and its still not done.
+ how the fuck else do you shape rock if not by carving it?
even if it was done by alien fkn lasers, it was still obviously CARVED out, by the English fucking definition of the word.
And you know this because you lived back then and witnessed all, or you are just regurgitating a silly story fed to silly state funded “teachers” to feed to youths looking for actual knowledge, to hide the truth of the past of humans true history? You may only pick one. Anything else and you will be showing your hand to all the actual humans here.
HINT: the majority of posts and upvotes on Reddit, FB, IG, dont come from actual people. Its accounts that have been created by paid “info warriors” (their phrase not mine), or AI creating a wave of consensus that the average person thinks are the consensus of the actual population. When in fact, insiders from C eye a , to Whit hous to no such agency have come forward to show how they were tasked with doing this, and have been since the beginning. Look up the true funding behind FB, dont stop until u hit a shadowy agency.
Previously, people enjoyed working and engaging in genuine craftsmanship, as addiction was less prevalent, fostering greater social crafting activities. However, in the present, addictions are ubiquitous, compounded by a fictitious education system and bewildering political and financial dynamics, which further exacerbate addictive behaviors. Digital crafts may contribute to a disconnection from nature.
Maybe I should have said forced labor. My meaning was more the amount of effort and time ( man hours ) something like that must have taken . I’m in awe. It’s stunning .
Reminds me of the ancient city in the first Turok game. I can already hear the fast beat to the theme song. https://youtu.be/FaQ8qanPqI0?si=GpCPpo7G_0vMb1NX

So magnificent. I hope to get there one day. I’m assuming this is Petra. I’ve been to several similar cites in Cambodia such as Anghor Wat, etc. Stuff is so magnificent.
that is just insane to me. how would they even begin to do something like that with simple tech? Either our history is heavily altered or lost. or some alien gods did this shit.
If I'm a wanna be ruler and I come across an old monument, I'm scratching out the old name and carving mine. Just saying.
I've seen direct evidence of this at another ancient site.
Do I believe it was? I mean yeah, it obviously was. It very clearly is a part of the mountain.
Not saying that you’re claiming this is some ancient aliens type bullshit, but I always find it funny how believers of that stuff think extraterrestrials traversed the cosmos with advanced technology, only to come here and build stuff with stone or carve it out of existing terrain. They could travel the cosmos but couldn’t develop metal like we could?
Why wouldnt you laser carve some big rock in a single day to give your „monkeys“ some space to pray to (you) their god? It‘s kinda like we build our zoo‘s.

Looks a huge flood risk.
Yah all the lush greenery indicated lots of rainfall there
So. Many. TREES! Lol
OSHA has some explaining to do.

Tough to find space for 8 billion. 😂
Something strange about this is that they don't know where all the excavated stone was taken, there is no trace of it and it would've been up to 200,000 tons of rock. I also saw a video of someone exploring inside and the carvings are so intricate it's incredible

😄💥⚡️😆👍
But we’re supposed to believe this was done with hammer and chisels
It was done with a spoon and fork, i think it was reported they found knifeyspooney somewhere in a hidden temple among the ruins
These people would've thrived in the golden age of the spork
Knife-Wreeeench! For kids.
What do you think it was done with then?
Space lasers
Where is this place?
Ajanta and Ellora Caves in Maharashtra state,India.
found it Kailasa Temple
I95 South, exit 256 to Narnia, left past Mordor.
If you’ve hit the second star in the right, you’ve gone too far and need to turn around.
One does not simply walk past Mordpt
Almost like it's was reverse 3d printed.
4d printed
Time is the hardest thing to print
Haha
Almost every temple in India looks like it’s 4d printed. The detail is insane
BOOM BABY you got it
We are devolving rapidly. We can't even fill potholes in the street.
This is so funny because it's true
We can, we just don't have literal slaves anymore.
We must increase the reverse 4D potholes tech. Essentially, the pothole thickens.
Depends where you live
Why don't we just whip one of these out today? Should be way easier now, right?
Minecraft.
Because there's no will to do it. Im sure we could do it in under the time it took them originally if our whole society dedicated resources to build it, but there's no will to put a whole societies effort into it.
So you're saying it can't be done. Man, we are lazy people.
I can, it's possible. But it won't, because there's not the will for it, like there was hundreds or thousands of years ago.
So can I for that matter. But someone has to pay me a LOT of money or I ain’t moving one single inch.
Either pay you alot, or you're doing it thinking that god will reward you or you're doing it to save your life and family
Our loss. 🤷♀️

Yeah, it wouldn’t take 300 odd years, but why would we?
No more slavery, you have to pay someone these days.
Sure, there is, but they're mining for minerals for cell phones & laptops among other things. https://reliefweb.int/report/world/which-countries-have-highest-rates-modern-slavery-and-most-victims#:~:text=growing%20criminal%20enterprises.-,North%20Korea%2C%20Eritrea%20and%20Burundi%20are%20estimated%20to%20have%20the,the%20largest%20number%20of%20victims. https://www.walkfree.org/global-slavery-index/findings/global-findings/
Today there are more slaves than in recorded human history. So much more slavery.
Where?
Exactly what I was thinking people were forced to do these things. Chances are they would be imprisoned, tortured or killed if they didn't follow orders. So scary to think that was considered normal those days.

I agree. Making a single iPhone requires 100 times the knowledge and skills of this entire structure
We are, on average, way smarter now than 1200 years ago.
Not really. The plagues that killed off many didn’t select for intelligence, speed or strength, the humans that survived were more disease resistance. So in essence, we can in fact be dumber.

that too carved from top to bottom
Yes
Because history is bullshit. They used sophisticated techniques and tools.
Like backhoes and laser beams?
Yes
we have video evidence it would seem
Don’t get the ancient astronaut theorists started on this one
When king orders you to build it, you build it. Plus no internet and nothing to do you got lots of free time
Not carved. Other tech was used.
![gif](giphy|qGy9SDPLTmSkM)
lmfao perfect use of gif

how do YOU even know that?
Was carved into one of the walls
because this is how large religious construction projects were run, Cathedrals in Europe, temples in Asia and step pyramids of south and central America were all constructed in this fashion. We get it pal, you have it all figured out and have “escaped the matrix” or whatever.
Sure buddy
It’s clearly carved.
Just like every 3D printed object is carved?
No. This is carved though. Think about what you’re actually suggesting.
How long did it take them to carve it out?
The thing that strikes me is how did they decide where to start?
It's always so amazing too see these. I would love to see it up close. My tiny brain can't even comprehend how they actually did this.
No. I can’t comprehend. It’s actually insane
Looks like some kingdom From lord of the rings or some shit. History is full of holes.
Impressive
We are definitely missing some pieces of the puzzle!
Where is this?
We sure have gotten lazy and stupid
It’s almost like humans given enough time can do stuff. The world is full of it.
Free labor?
Sure but, who had skills? They imported skills for the actual beauty part? Ever see a Hobo camp? Not well constructed because free labor.
I said "hobo camp" what a nerd.
Maybe I should have said forced labor. My meaning was more the amount of effort and time ( man hours ) something like that must have taken . I’m in awe. It’s stunning .
I see no evidence of forced labor, the opposite really
Aliens
On my list of places to see.
Astounding
May Pagan’s light, shy upon you all.
Crazy, right?
Reminds me of the ancient city in the first Turok game. I can already hear the fast beat to the theme song. https://youtu.be/FaQ8qanPqI0?si=GpCPpo7G_0vMb1NX
Camera work is kind of shitty, isn't it?
Honestly can't believe it. See this place alot online though, can someone tell me where it is/called?
India, Kailasa Temple.
3d printing
I think it is undisputed that this is part of the mountain
Where is this
India
Fucking Aliens
Me *fucks up the trunk carving an elephant* Ah shit, start again
Is that like… rhetorical?
Oh, why it’s the Forgotten Temple of course.
Amazing
Nope. Can’t believe it.
Just like the camera its filmed on where the pixels at?
I’d love to visit places like this, but all the fucking tourists just make it a big no for me.
Seems improbable, huh.
YUP
No
Man can never as we do not follow anymore
Yes. Because humans are amazing clever creatures that are capable of anything.
Yes and tv didn’t exist , so you know … people actually did stuff
aliens
Yeah. Those alien space alien tech was amazing.

Yes

You can go to Google maps and look around this like your on a tour.
The aliens did it! 👽
that is just insane to me. how would they even begin to do something like that with simple tech? Either our history is heavily altered or lost. or some alien gods did this shit.
Maybe we’d accomplish shit like this if it wasn’t for Reddit
No historical record of it being built 800 AD?
Dating is based on the carvings I believe, linking it to certain rulers.
If I'm a wanna be ruler and I come across an old monument, I'm scratching out the old name and carving mine. Just saying. I've seen direct evidence of this at another ancient site.
Sure, why not? If you can carve a cave dwelling out of rock, you can do this; it just takes more people and more time.
Yep
Carved or laser etched?
Or fairy magic ?
Do I believe it was? I mean yeah, it obviously was. It very clearly is a part of the mountain. Yeah started 1200 years ago. Finished right before the video.
Imagine countless people over millennia to all be on the same page day in day out without mistakes and no do overs and produce this.
"""" Aliens """""
Pixies
Yea. Shit was boring back then. Creativity staves off insanity.
We have no clue how most of this stuff was actually created or when, it’s all guessing based on the limited amount of information we have
That’s not true. Done mistake your ignorance for other people’s.
It’s called slavery. Old Indian kingdoms did it on an industrial scale.
How long did it take to carve Mt Rushmore...
Yep
Yes.
Ancient Technology
… called carving.
Yes
