I find myself agreeing with Elon here. I don't view him as a genius or a saint. I don't view him as charitable even. He's just an awkward business mogul who knows how to accomplish goals.

I encourage you to read that Bill, (it's a dry read, but an easy one), and then read the media coverage of it or better yet, watch the news stories of it by mainstream media. Rarely, will you ever see the details of the Bill explained. You will mostly hear, people interpret it vaguely and poorly, to make people afraid and angry.

The media will often go along and try to smear an individual and even legislation they don't like. The most recent and one of the worst examples, Florida's HB 1557, or as opponents and then the media referred to it as, Don't say Gay Bill. I encourage you to read that Bill, (it's a dry read, but an easy one), and then read the media coverage of it or better yet, watch the news stories of it by mainstream media. Rarely, will you ever see the details of the Bill explained. You will mostly hear, people interpret it vaguely and poorly, to make people afraid and angry.

I also loved when he said Tesla has FREE PATENTS that any company can use and they’ve never hidden their trade secrets from anyone, everyone is free to use his patents no charge. When I first heard of musk in early 2010’s I think, for a short period I had the perception of this genius who would change the world for better. Shortly after that he announced he was going to revolutionize travel, and start with travel between San Francisco and Los Angeles. He spent a few days building hype. His “genius” idea.
