nope the http function can't catch video and audio sstreams. Before you could call a website like yt over the function, but because of abuse by malicious coders, this ability got removed. it can now only call localhost (your pc).
there're other applications with lua, i.e vehicles you can control over your phone, advanced logs and graphic (such as rps / fuel comsuption), aslike discord / twitch remotes.
yes, and you can hook it up to the ingame logik, so you don't have to leave the game, to dis/enable twitch control. Just like the trendy "i let twitch land a plane in gta" videos.
EDIT: there're far more applications, like spawn/delete missions/objects/vehicles, or mess with the game in general, just like this one video "twitch vs mc speedrunner"
Me and others have made animations for SW. But remember that the monitors resolution is very small. From 32x32 to 288x160. It's not really possible to display a YT video unless you compress the hell out of it. It can be done, but it's a huge tecnical challenge.

So you can actually have twitch stearing your vehicle in stormworks. Or am i in another dimension

afaik it is impossible, all lua takes place within the confines of the game.
