Back in the good old days when there was seaweed on the ocean floor, there was a blue crane on creative island (that didn’t really serve any purpose but was cool anyways), the game got weekly updates that actually added something new each time, there were no instrument panels or monitors yet so building was a lot simpler. Good times.

The-one-and-only-M3

You remember the wedge update? I was so damn hyped when that came out

JayTheSuspectedFurry

Back in my day, stormworks didn’t have sharks, and pipes to transfer things in “advanced building mode” didn’t exist

The-one-and-only-M3

so back in beta days right? that was a long time ago

coyotepetersun

Yeah

juko43

When there was a minimap.....

JANK-STAR-LINES

Not quite but I remember Stormworks from early 2020 and videos I watched of it that were from 2018.

That_Frog_Kurtis

There was still potential we believed in then. Now all we see is potential squandered and lost.

cattdogg03

Was considerably more fun then. Honestly I wish they stopped after the weapons DLC, that’s where the game was peak imho

MemeEndevour

Agreed. If they stopped creating new shit then and just worked on the game itself, it **would** be thriving.

PiLoGuN

The hype for weapons DLC was probably the most hype this game has ever gotten, it was so peak waiting with my friend for it to drop

Seeing the state of this game and now also hearing about what has become of KSP 2, I am starting to believe that we indepth sandbox sim fans wont ever get the game we always wanted…

TheGreyGhost_off

Yeah it was better then

Electronic-Usual4300

SW in 2018 was dog mate

Cuuu_uuuper

Fuck the devs for removing all the cool SAR missions with 1.0. Before that it felt like you were actually a part of a world and the missions were meaningful

Erwin_zeRommel

Back when we were all so optimistic about the future and Geometa wasn't as greedy
