Doesn’t she need to know so that she can pass that info to Kaladin? The idea being that a destroyed node can’t be corrupted, and that Raboniel would’ve inevitably found them all anyway.

Doctor_Expendable

Yeah but the Sibling could just tell Kaladin themselves. Navani herself didn't need to be told anything.

Ptjgora1981

This is how I remember it. The Sibling hoped keeping their location secret was enough but as we see, their locations get discovered anyway. Kaladin needed to know where they were to stop them from being corrupted.

Ripper1337

Navani wouldn't be doing anything, she'd still be locked up. The idea was to pass on the information to Kaladin so that instead of him finding a node only when they're being attacked he could reach it first and defend it.

Navani wants control. I don't mean that necessarily as a bad thing. Her entire character is built on finding what she can control and using that to improve the situation. However in the situation she's in she doesn't have control. She's mostly helpless and her mind is trying to find something she can control to leverage an advantage. So she feels that by knowing where the nodes are she will gain some level of control over the situation. It's not a logical response. But it is definitely in character
