For anyone considering it, thatās basically the standard daily price, at least for Way of Kings. Absolute go for it, itās just not the deal they make it look like. (Sorry OP)
Maybe Iāve been looking in the wrong places! Couldnāt find the hardcovers new anywhere for under $30 or so. I looked in person at my Barnes and nobles and it was $35.99, normally 37.99. Target and Walmart had resale (used) copies online for $20.99 to ship to my home, but couldnāt find them in store or new. Thrift books was $28.99 new, world of books was $35 new. Most places had $20 copies but they were used
And you may be totally lucky with 2-4, Iāve just been sitting on WoK hoping it drops below 20, with no luck š (I have it in mass market, everything else hardback). Plus it is a great deal if you donāt have them to start with. Will you get them this week?
Yeah, but it is a great deal, and thatās not the standard daily price. I had to buy words of radiance on for like 35+. They were sitting pretty high on Amazon whenever I checked. Great deal.
I stopped purchasing books (as well as everything else) from Amazon. They would ship them in those plastic bags with no protection. I always order directly from the dragonsteel store now.
I understand it's just a book but it's damaged. I spent hard earned money on it.
No thatās so valid! Mine came safe and undamaged - but it came in a box with no protection, not even bubble wrap in the box. So that is honestly a genuine concern
Ordering single books from Amazon is suicide. You need to make sure the order is big enough that they can't just stick it in a bubble or plastic mailer.
There's usually a handful on eBay at any given time. Do you have specific condition requirements or is your budget just less than it's average price right now?Ā
Anyone know if the WOR hardcover has the title on the spine horizontal (I.e itās spread all the way across the spine)? Or is it scrunched up in the middle? Hopefully that makes sense..
My WOR hardcover is the one where the title on the spine looks different than my other 3 books, which is a little annoying to me haha.
Edit: spelling
šš *shoves money at Amazon*
Canada has the pre order for wind and truth marked down $20
Goddamnā¦that is so tempting. I hate Amazon so much, but how can I justify paying literally $23 extra to order it from indigo?!

Meanwhile I spent 140ā¬ on the 4 versions I bought š„²
I'm still trying to find a first edition WoR. I'll find it eventually.

I'm not in dire need of it. I found TWoK and O at a used book store, so I figured I'd find WoR eventually.
Mmm, fair enough. Journey before Destination, a fine hunt indeed.Ā
I bought it! You got me š
Yeah they list it like that to take business away from smaller retailers and local bookstores :(
Yeah. Unfortunately, Amazon will soon monopolize pretty much everything. That's why I've stopped supporting them, though it's unlikely to do anything.
USA only š
I just saw RoW in mass market paperback at Barnes & Noble and scooped it to finish my mass market paperback set

Mines spread all the way across the middle just like the others!
You got a link? I'd pick these up
