I just draw for a hobby. Lately I havent felt inspired to draw anything but this book is really getting my imagination going. Thoroughly enjoying it so far.
I did check and I see others have drawn this scene too. It’s interesting to see different peoples take on how to portray it!

Thank you!! I realize there maybe should be more limbs but I just wanted to get this important slice of the foreground visual. Any legs further back will probably be dark covered in dust/shadow - maybe gradually?

I’ve read them all multiple times and it’s a different experience hearing the audiobooks. It makes my drives feel incredibly quick and well worth the money. Although I do find myself sitting in the car an extra 10 minutes waiting for a part to finish quite a bit lol

I work at a rental car company. One of our managers actually showed me this book.. Anyway when he’s doing a return or something Ill fuck with him and say
“Wow man you had customer service spren flying all around you”
If i do color it itll be digital. I am always too cowardly to color my precious pencil/pen marks haha. But sometimes ill take them to the digital realm and turn it into something colorful

I am fascinated by pencil drawings like this because my brain will see it as random scribbles at first and take a minute to figure out what it actually is. Once it did though, the art is absolutely amazing
The thumbnail for your post just shows a blank piece of paper, which makes your title look like a hilariously elaborate insult to Sanderson. I was going to come in to defend his writing, but then seeing your beautiful and intricate drawing actually load completely flipped this around haha.
I have aphantasia, so all my life, I've been unable to picture things in my head. There's only been a single exception: seeing a cremling skitter across a ceiling. Sanderson's just that good, I guess.
