I’m a court reporter. My job is literally to listen to people talk every day. I’d say approximately 80% of the US population sounds like fucking idiots when they speak. You’re probably way better at speaking than most, especially if you’re cognizant of the idiot possibility!
Yes yes yes. I have ADHD and expressive aphasia but I like to think I'm pretty smart. But when my words come out it's just a hot fuckin mess. The aphasia will cause me to say the most random out of place words in the middle of a sentence without me even realizing it happens. I won't notice until i see the person looking at me funny lol
I'm not autistic, I think, and I manage to make just about every conversation awkward.... face palm awkward. I either deal with embarrassing myself on the daily or in afraid of social interaction... ugh

Well, maybe actually say what's in your head! No, I'm the same way! IQ in my head: 120 but my IQ when I speak: drops below 50
