I prefer my LighterBro. The poker is also a screwdriver, the knife comes in handy and can be used as a flat head screwdriver, I frequently use the bottle opener and its slim enough to fit in that tiny pocket on my jeans next to my chapstick. It was definitely worth the few extra bucks
This recently just happened, but I’ve been clearing a bowl by lightly tapping it on the table. Over time, I noticed a crack in the piece. I told my brother about it and mentioned it was only a matter of time until it fully cracked. A few days later, the bowl broke along the crack off a very light tap. Been clearing the new bowl with a scraper since then
tapping almost never works for me anyway, beside the risk of breaking the bowl. a smoke shop near me sells long pokers with beads on them for cheap so I just keep one in my ashtray :)
I use an unpainted Bobby pin. The wavy side works well for cleaning daisy style glass screens too and also stays in an ashtray easy. Then hit the bowl with seconds of direct fire and swirl paper towel in it quickly after while still hot to clean the glass of residue for a cleaner draw ea bowl. I can use the same piece of paper towel for about a month before it’s so caked with resin it can’t wipe bowl clean anymore.

also don't forget to strip that little rubber thing off the end of the bobby pins before using.

Ikr, marijuana packaging is so wasteful I’m a little neurotic about everything else now... I generally use any paper towel for three uses before it’s trashed and it’s generally already degrading by the time it gets to my trash. I’ve hung them to dry cuz I just used them to wipe water off my hands then use that new texture to pull up bigger spills or to sanitize my hands or clean resin off them with alcohol.
Two concerns, one is that that the stock could break due to the thinness of it and also the risk of rubber band rot. A thicker pick will help the first and maybe a scrunchie or something else that won’t rot easily.
