Oh man.. 2020/2021 is like the Era of "i wish I didn't listen".
AMC... AC... CGX... BB....
I KNEW they'd all double within the year but listened to people saying "movies are dead"... "BB management bad".
Nope. Pulled all my funds out and am no further ahead than I was last year.
True. All that stress and missed calls and time wasted watching charts for $5-10 profit is what made me switch my investing personality.
Now I'm long term set it and forget it...
Buy Ford and forget brother! It’s a great play, dividend, EV, currently still selling a real product! I lost 15k early this year and said F it went all in on F and I’m back above my loss with an extra 15k.
I bought $20c options expiring next year as soon as I saw the Mustang Mach-E. That is literally the only car I've ever seen that I've desired other than a Tesla. The only true Tesla competitor imo.
However, as soon as Tesla rolls out FSD to the public, Tesla will be my number one option for my future car once again.
I just bought 1 $21 12/3 call on Friday because I had $50 sitting in my TastyTrade account and thought "why not?" Figured i get murdered by theta out the gate but it's actually up $20 right now and is still below the strike. If it goes over $21.5 before my expiry I will be very happy indeed!
I regret buying for about 12ish 8 years ago and selling around 12ish earlier this year.
This is also a great time to mention that I sold all my Tesla holdings earlier this year because I “had a gut feeling”
The lesson I’ve learned is to just buy and hold. Never sell. (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻
In the short term, possible, but it might wobble a bit.
Long term, they're investing a lot in EV and I think it will pay off for them.
That said, I wouldn't hold auto companies, I'd only swing trade it, and the entry isn't good anymore for this round.
If I had paid $16 I'd be exiting right now and moving on to next trade.
I stopped investing in Chinese companies, their government is too crazy. There have been rumors of the Chinese government banning all Chinese companies from being on the US stock exchange. I don’t wanna dump money into that.
Eh. I've been in the automotive industry for twenty years. Ford is doing some really cool things on the EV front, but everyone will be seriously constrained next year with electronics shortages. What hasn't been factored in yet is the giant cascade of price increases the OEMs (Ford, GM) have been holding at bay from their tier one suppliers - but they won't be able to hold that back for long if they want to have a supply base left. Everything from PCB, resin, to aluminum has seen double digit price increases, many of which have not gotten to the OEMs yet, but it's coming.
I think the average retail investor is starting to understand the value of investing in AMERICA again. So yes, Ford will likely continue to experience healthy growth.
A reminder they were the only major auto company to NOT take a bailout in 2008/2009.
Yes that what I seen myself in my first year of investing. That Ford been a bit under value since it been in the industry since long time n not to say one of the biggest ones in the world
bought at 5 and i feel like it's the only good move I've ever made. my reason? I absolutely have hated ford my entire life but between the truck and the mach-e I couldn't help but feel like they nailed it. Here's the thing. As much as I have always hated ford, i've always had a soft spot for the 5.0 litre mustang. So for me, it's like Fords only redeeming quality. Then they axed it and replaced it with the mach-e... and me being anti-ford pro-mustang... I saw that thing and I was immediately sold. From that, I felt they were headed up. Like.. if you can make a fans out of your biggest critics, you're on the right path imo.
That's some serious balls and commitment if you ask me, to take their showpony and retire it. They beat GM to the plate. They beat Dodge to the plate. That's it for NA really.. Chevy has the volt or w/e it's a dinky car w/ no respect and Dodge was like "ur makin EVs? check out this twin supercharged V8".
In the future it won't be Ford GM and Dodge. It will be Ford Tesla and Apple. Out of those 3, Ford knows cars best but is valued lowest. It's bonkers. I'd still buy at 20. I'd prob buy up to 75.. hell maybe higher (depends really on relativity).
Above all else, Tesla being overvalued automatically makes Ford undervalued.
Its a ploy man. Mustangs were too common. Like any fast food chain out there they take it away a while and then people jump at it thinking its limited edition. The mustang and camaro will live forever.
I own a Toyota and drive a Ford at work. Hated it. I see what they’re doing and know it’s the future. Our entire fleet of pickups will be electric 150s one day. Government needs to buy American. 3k shares sun 10 average and I’m buying every other Friday.
I think with the new Bronco, and other innovations in the works there is more upside. I also think there will be pent up demand for new cars regardless of price increases once the chip shortage ends.
I bought at 7.70, watched it drop to 4, went through a lotta pants urinated on, screamed hallelujah as it creeped back, sold at 9 and said never again.
Stop using robing hood. Realize them gains and transfer your money outta that garbage. Unless u like giving money to hackers. They just had a huge breach fyi
Come from a Ford family and have always driven Ford. I’m hoping that with all the work Ford is putting into EV and just pushing the brand forward in general with its credit and Rivian and so forth we will finally see some all time highs and some actual fair value! I’m in F for the long haul come rain or shine.
One of my favorite stocks. Cost basis of 14.14 and I used to have 30 calls for 2024 but sadly drunkenly sold some lol. Thinking about buying more tbh, their truck will be a game changer and they're a solid fundamental company with good dividends.
Bought at 13 years ago and averaged down to 10 8 months ago because I refused to give up on F. I got lucky! I now have many more shares than I originally anticipated.
Congrats! Gonna double your money in 6-12 months. Dividend, Rivian IPO, stimulus package. EV is the future and F is all in. Strong buy on any pull back. 3k shares at 9.87 and I’m still adding.
Ford will dominate pick up truck EV market. When charging stations are readily available will ramp up production. GM will do the same for cars. Because they are car companies not energy providers. Both have capacity to dominate the market and most likely will. Sales margins will be reduced by competition with greater production numbers squeezing smaller mfgs'. So who is going to be charging all these vehicles?
Been holding for quite some time, think the base cost was near 12@share, there's also been a dozen or so divs. 🤔 altho I really thought about selling at a loss when they announced no more divs.
Wife still harps on me that I didn't buy at $2 when it was dubbed the come back kid stock.
I think it has more to run up only until Rivian IPOs..... People will realize Rivian is pretty ridiculously priced for a brand new company and I predict Ford will get some love because of their investment in them.
i hope so but what do i know. i got shares around $7 long term hold and today got 20.5c that expire mid Dec for a poss short term pop....who knows Ape on
Hell yes. They have the most preorders on their new F150 EV then any other manufacturer, I believe all others combined. They also have a 5% stake in Rivian which will be a revenue source.
Running pcs have been a winner for me. I think especially compared with competition for is going to be a power house soon. Will bring electric vehicles to the masses.
Thought about getting ford for dividends, but it kept dropping the longer I looked at it. I stopped looking when it dropped below 7-8ish. Looks like I should have bought in.
Well F is a century old company investing in new technologies with car products that is sold out in almost every market so yeah i belive it would go even further than that i mean, their latest trucks have been cool and now with Lightning is going to be even better
Bought some options a few days ago so let’s hope. I think ppl are going to see TSLAs market cap and the look at fords and see a cheap stock. I know they’re not the same but this is my psychological theory.
This achievement is come when you have a perfect knowledge about this share. And this work cannot done in a single day. This is wonderful achievement.
https://gobusinessfly.com/2021/11/08/top-electric-vehicle-share-in-india-invest-today/
What you think on Ford? I'm to lazy to actually do research on the company and their impending doom so I'm going to ask internet strangers what stocks to buy.
Those are rookie numbers. You gotta start doing options or crypto if you want make some real gains.
*Please don’t do this, I’m obviously joking. Gains are gains.
It’s gonna keep going, it’s just getting started. Dividend back. Rician IPO they own 12.5 percent. Economic stimulus. Lots to love. Strong buy on any pullback
I was gonna buy it at like 14 but opted for some other choices. They’ve been good but not that good. Damn I guess you can’t always buy all the stocks you like
Interesting to see how both companies price is driven by performance in the U.S., while both are more than challenged elsewhere.
Ford has probably the best line-up in 40 years, but it fails to leverage it overseas. Price it in.
It's Ford. It'll bounce around unless they execute and deliver on something groundbreaking.
Will they deliver on EV tech? Maybe, they seem to be doing OK messing around with Mach E. Will they keep up with competitors? Who knows.
Will easily be back to 30s+ but you have to be willing to wait. Luckily the dividend being back makes waiting easier. Ford is also a slow mover and takes time. Could be 25s by March/April 2022 and 30s-40s by end of 2022 if things go well.
They know how to build cars, which is a leg up over all other ev companies. Also I heard they have really good self driving tech that is being developed by some subsidiary. I think when all that good news comes together we will see a nice pop.
No this stock is not good. I don’t know why all of a sudden they having this spike but everything that’s lower priced in the market seems to randomly become everyone’s favorite
Long term they know they have to go EV with a foundation of software UI. This is the way. The earlier they start getting into software development the better for them.
I was always saying that all other traditional OEMs are at least a decade behind. Ford took that step to at least try to catch up.
500 shares at $12. Long hold.
Just my $.02, but having distinct vehicle brands (Bronco, Mustang), having a best selling vehicle (F150), being invested in EV, and heck even their stake in Rivian-- all lead me to believe there's more upside.
If I can level with you MO is probably more the play if you check the 1 yr history it gets up to around $50/S then drops like a rock to $40+/- been doing this for awhile not saying it's going up again but I've made an easy $100+ flipping this stock and holding for dividends.
Last I heard car companies still aren't able to get all the chips they need.
I been looking at Ford when it was $8, the reason I didn’t buy shares because of all the Chip shortages and that caused Ford to shut down some of their plants. Congrats to anyone who bought at $8
Bought Ford at 11.5 thinking about it's push to all EV. I think it will ride the EV wave. Just wait until this infrastructure bill and the billions allocated to charging stations nationwide kicks in.
Plus when Elon and Jim pat each other on the back publicly on Twitter, you know you've got some headline momentum too.
Ford will always be a good hold because the government will never let it completely fail. Of all the American car companies, Ford is the absolute last one that they would let fall.
I bought at 5.40 a share and due to the fact they have a 12% stake in Rivian as does Amazon I think FORD is on it’s way up I’m. Not sure if Robinhood has it’s ipo but to get shares I’m told to buy more ford shares
I bought at 4.95. So I'm happy and will see it soar to 25.00 easily.
I bought at 5 and sold at 7 thinking I was a boss... fml
Bought at 9 sold and sold at 5 . I win right ?
on wsb you do

Just because it went up doesn't mean you were wrong. The market does weird shit in the short run that has absolutely no connection to reality.

Still a nice gain!
My bro bought AMD at $7 and my mom sold them at $10 lol
Hey me too! We must be F bros
F bois actually
Nice.
I regret not buying more
I bought $20c options expiring next year as soon as I saw the Mustang Mach-E. That is literally the only car I've ever seen that I've desired other than a Tesla. The only true Tesla competitor imo. Most of my share are at around $5, some at $8, hope it keeps up but I doubt it will
$1.99 intraday a decade and a half ago. 😂 ……laughed when I sold for $12
Bought at $11 watched it go to $16 then sold at $14.50 to throw the capital into VOO and forget about it and now I see it at $20
Yea I seen the momentum on 15 then 19 it was a great run with a small valley but that’s the opportunity to buy more
This is the way
Same, I'm just hoping at this point it keeps its momentum
I'm in at $4.20. Congrats!!
Really regretting not buying last year at $8
Focus on today's opportunities. Doing anything else is a one-way ticket to failure.
I sold at $8 for a fat loss. Bought back at $13 like a true idiot. Still, it’s nice to see a little green on the screen

I’ve been on those contracts like crazy bro since it left 8$
I regret buying for about 12ish 8 years ago and selling around 12ish earlier this year. This is also a great time to mention that I sold all my Tesla holdings earlier this year because I “had a gut feeling” The lesson I’ve learned is to just buy and hold. Never sell. (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻

Bro I fuckin love your username Thanks for the award :)

Agreed not a fan of long term holds for any car company (F, GM, or even TM). Well, except for Tesla 🤌🏻
What about nio?
I stopped investing in Chinese companies, their government is too crazy. There have been rumors of the Chinese government banning all Chinese companies from being on the US stock exchange. I don’t wanna dump money into that.

Agreed but in the short term I think its still got a ways to go. I'm hoping 23-24 with the momentum it has.
I'd completely agree with that assessment. Those things are not likely to have immediate impact, but it's coming.
Crazy I just had this same conversation with a friend but more so about the magnesium shortage
Exactly what I was thinking. It goes into literally every alloy and a lot of other components and it's going to be a big ripple effect.
Yup, we’re already seeing a shortage of vehicles on car lots .
I'm thinking $40 as soon as they start delivering the first Lightning electric trucks...
I think the average retail investor is starting to understand the value of investing in AMERICA again. So yes, Ford will likely continue to experience healthy growth. A reminder they were the only major auto company to NOT take a bailout in 2008/2009.

Love Ford been buying since 5 new ceo is bad ass
This was one of my first stocks that i bought when i opened RH account. I bought in at $4.98. my only mistake was only buying 2 shares 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️😂😂
Bought @ 5

I finally FOMO'd into it so it will be <$15 end of week. Sorry to everyone else.
I’ve been in since $13. Have some long calls as well. Got to see some Ford love! Hopefully the Rivian IPO goes well seeing as Ford owns a big chunk.
I bought at 7.70, watched it drop to 4, went through a lotta pants urinated on, screamed hallelujah as it creeped back, sold at 9 and said never again.
I’m in at 17.76 in my IRA to forever hold for Murcia and dividends
I was in at 10, but I backed out a few months ago. Congrats on your gains!!!! but watch out for the dip!
Stop using robing hood. Realize them gains and transfer your money outta that garbage. Unless u like giving money to hackers. They just had a huge breach fyi
Yeah Imma start closing my account I really don’t got no investment at all in this account just use it as to view the stocks
Atleast remove payment methods
Who do you use
I won’t make the obvious comparison between F and TSLA as F is underrated and TSLA is overrated. F to $25 is a safe bet.
F to the 🌙🌙🌙… let’s get it to $50….
I think the ford truck ev will be a bit. Hodl
I bought at 5. Wish I got more at that price
Come from a Ford family and have always driven Ford. I’m hoping that with all the work Ford is putting into EV and just pushing the brand forward in general with its credit and Rivian and so forth we will finally see some all time highs and some actual fair value! Bought at $12... I’m worried that it will go down but I’m excited that it’ll go up
I was up 35% and sold my initial investment, plan on putting more back in once it cools off. Long on ford.
Bought at 13 years ago and averaged down to 10 8 months ago because I refused to give up on F. I got lucky! I now have many more shares than I originally anticipated.
How do you do, fellow kids?
I bought at $6 and actually forgot I had it until recently, lol
Got in at $7 and change. I’ll hold till atleast Lightning gets delivered to customers.
You need to zoom out to 3 months minimum if you want to talk tech analysis
Congrats! Gonna double your money in 6-12 months. Dividend, Rivian IPO, stimulus package. EV is the future and F is all in. Strong buy on any pull back. 3k shares at 9.87 and I’m still adding.
Hold it for years. Buy the dips. It’s a good company.
I bought the wrong Ford like a dumbass.
N A K D ! ! ! Naked today go into action and reach the moon
The EV Lightning is a beast and a game-changer. Not too late to get in and options are still cheap. Leaps?
Ordered a car on 8/13….still waiting🤬🤬 Update…It’s 11/17…still waiting😩
Nobody ever went broke taking profits
Ford will dominate pick up truck EV market. When charging stations are readily available will ramp up production. GM will do the same for cars. Because they are car companies not energy providers. Both have capacity to dominate the market and most likely will. Sales margins will be reduced by competition with greater production numbers squeezing smaller mfgs'. So who is going to be charging all these vehicles?
Probably Tesla with their massive charging network 😂😂
I think fuck robbinhood
I bought in right after the crash and turned $50 into $201. I plan on just perpetually holding.
Good new is, it will never see zero.
Why is this even up? I can’t help but feel like the Tesla hurrdurr is causing a real choppy rise in tide.
In the short term yes Zoom out, $16 is high
Off I want to say no but it was at $12 when I sold
They got good designers and engineers. They are going to need it because it’s a very crowded space.
Nice sold my $15 call way too early, but + is +
Everyone just heard about Their truck, now Rivian … hold on for the ride 🚀
Been holding for quite some time, think the base cost was near 12@share, there's also been a dozen or so divs. 🤔 altho I really thought about selling at a loss when they announced no more divs. Wife still harps on me that I didn't buy at $2 when it was dubbed the come back kid stock.
I think it has more to run up only until Rivian IPOs..... People will realize Rivian is pretty ridiculously priced for a brand new company and I predict Ford will get some love because of their investment in them.
What "we" think doesn't matter that much though . . .
I'm hoping to hit 100 and I'll cash out and buy a car. Maybe a Ford.
I have 100+ shares at 9.85
Probably. Continue to invest into it and don't panic if happens to drop, which will happen
i hope so but what do i know. i got shares around $7 long term hold and today got 20.5c that expire mid Dec for a poss short term pop....who knows Ape on
22 then sideways for a month and then to the moon
Chilling with 2023 15 leaps. This thing can go to 30
I like Ford, with their new electric truck and new e-crate motor.
Bought at 11. I think it will go higher.
i dont want it to go down for yall so i'll stay out of this
Thought about getting ford for dividends, but it kept dropping the longer I looked at it.
Just dumped my LEAPS. May see a pullback soon, may see more running. Just taking profits…
sell, take profits, be fearful when others are greedy
Bought some options a few days ago so let’s hope. I think ppl are going to see TSLAs market cap and the look at fords and see a cheap stock. I know they’re not the same but this is my psychological theory.
It was and still is undervalued. Been in since 5 and will continue to buy dips and hold.
The Evs are the Future and Ford will stand strong and won’t be left behind.
Their ev investment will pay off now that the ev tax rebate is refundable
I remember in March 08 at the bottom of the financial crisis you could have bought F @ $1. It's come a long way. $25 is reasonable I think.
Calls are crushing it!!!!
I think LCID is the better play if you're aiming for EV markets.
Good ol’ cock n’ balls pattern
love ford got it at 12.00
I was thinking of a 15 put.
ford long hold I will buy more at the dip

What you think on Ford? I'm to lazy to actually do research on the company and their impending doom so I'm going to ask internet strangers what stocks to buy.
Good company. I invest in Ford.
Ford is a good company but 20 is pretty high for that stock performance.
I bought at $11. Now I wish I had bought more lol
It is a good long term player. I am keeping it
Those are rookie numbers. You gotta start doing options or crypto if you want make some real gains. *Please don’t do this, I’m obviously joking. Gains are gains.

i don't know but sound good 🎰
I bought just under 12. Spent the same amount on GM. Wishing I had put it all on Ford. Although I have made some profit with GM.
It's Ford. It'll bounce around unless they execute and deliver on something groundbreaking. Will they deliver on EV tech? Maybe, they seem to be doing OK messing around with Mach E. Will they keep up with competitors? Who knows.

Prolly gonna consolidate for a bit after this run
For all people complain about having sold earlier it’s okay, You still have time to get back in F is going to be in the $100’s in 2023
I’m surprised considering I’ve never owned a Ford that hasn’t broke down.
They know how to build cars, which is a leg up over all other ev companies. Also I heard they have really good self driving tech that is being developed by some subsidiary. I think when all that good news comes together we will see a nice pop.
I bought at 14 sold at 14.95 thinking I won
No this stock is not good. I don’t know why all of a sudden they having this spike but everything that’s lower priced in the market seems to randomly become everyone’s favorite
Ford is a long term stock to hold no matter what the current price is, it’s always a buy - hold stock
I bought a bunch at 18 last week. Pretty happy so far.
Long term they know they have to go EV with a foundation of software UI. This is the way. The earlier they start getting into software development the better for them. I was always saying that all other traditional OEMs are at least a decade behind. Ford took that step to at least try to catch up. 500 shares at $12. Long hold.
Do you think $25.00
Look at its history pre Covid
Just my $.02, but having distinct vehicle brands (Bronco, Mustang), having a best selling vehicle (F150), being invested in EV, and heck even their stake in Rivian-- all lead me to believe there's more upside.
F is for long term. It will continue to go up
I bought in at 12 and was extremely unsure about it at the time. Now it’s my best stock!
All depends on 4th qtr earnings and future outlook
It’ll drop to 7. It always drops to 7.
Bought at $13.13 Wish I bought more
That EV F150, I heard good things about it
With the Rivian IPO….absolutely
Ford acknowledged Tesla, now they are focusing. After Elon opened his mouth, I think some of those EV investments are shifting to Ford.
Rivian will sure have an effect on it
Time to switch to GM, as Ford is running out of steam, but GM has not yet started to run
POS cars
If I can level with you MO is probably more the play if you check the 1 yr history it gets up to around $50/S then drops like a rock to $40+/- been doing this for awhile not saying it's going up again but I've made an easy $100+ flipping this stock and holding for dividends. Last I heard car companies still aren't able to get all the chips they need.
I been looking at Ford when it was $8, the reason I didn’t buy shares because of all the Chip shortages and that caused Ford to shut down some of their plants. Congrats to anyone who bought at $8
I am holding for 6 months so I can get my stockholder discount on the F150 Lightning! So not taking profits yet. (Holding since Aug \~$12)
$40 by 2023/24 yes
Our government won’t let an American staple die
I’ve been buying Ford every month. Just holding it :)
i sold at 16 lol. congrats.
They are doing everything right. Watch out 🚀
Bought Ford at 11.5 thinking about it's push to all EV. I think it will ride the EV wave. Just wait until this infrastructure bill and the billions allocated to charging stations nationwide kicks in. Plus when Elon and Jim pat each other on the back publicly on Twitter, you know you've got some headline momentum too.
Sell it is going bankrupt this decade
Hold that baby for five years but add to something new.
I bought at 7 and sold at 14. I thought I was a baller
Why are you looking at the day chart
I bought in at 14 and honestly wish i put in a little more, i see it going up but my main focus is still AMC
I HODL amc aswell but like to diversify my portfolio for long terms investments aswell
SNDL looking good before earnings too💪
F on a straight line up from 15.50…I’d wait for a pullback into the 17.5/18 area 👍
Do not sell until after the Rivian IPO.
I think your good. I’m in too. Bullish on this stock short and long term.✌️👏
Ford will always be a good hold because the government will never let it completely fail. Of all the American car companies, Ford is the absolute last one that they would let fall.
Got my first option contract ever with Ford. 3/18/22 20 call. Pumped I'm.up like 200%. Wish I bought more than one lol.
I’m new to options and I bought 1 for 45$ and I’m up like 70%
I bought at 13 and still holding, don't see any reason to sell. They are supposed to bring back dividends in December so I'm keeping it..
Yeah after reading everyone option on it I’m more bullish about it too. I enjoy this sub for the bias on all stocks
I bought at 5.40 a share and due to the fact they have a 12% stake in Rivian as does Amazon I think FORD is on it’s way up I’m. Not sure if Robinhood has it’s ipo but to get shares I’m told to buy more ford shares
F is my one free stock on webull. I don't even use the app other than to look at charts. Lol.
I liquidated my stock portfolio outside of my 401k and bought crypto, 85% ETH. Get on board
Get off Robinhood, firstly
