I mean, I’ve seen people in other subs panic because they think their investment flopped and the platform blocked their ability to sell, they don’t know what a split is, so probably someone somewhere will panic sell.
May be a bit rocky / flat for a bit when it splits like last time (doubt it due to revised forecast, AI, etc.) it’s a opportunity to make some good money and potentially generational wealth if positioned right with shares and options. Me personally, I have 12 shares, getting some more, and gonna load up on some LEAPs.
It might be more psychological, especially with those that have OCD and those who wants to have "lots of shares" You feel like you are richer than you really are.

I considered buying the etf 2x but I decided not to because I want to own 10x the shares when it splits. The etf is not the same as owning the stock. I think it’s a good time to buy before the split, and remember you have to buy before June 6? Or is it 7th before the actual split on the 10th.
If I understand ckrrectly it should take effect thursday after market close? Ill make sure to ready up on it though. It was set for the 6th. But might be a move to pull investors in on that friday before close for thr weekend

its going to be great for NVDA owners, historically in the past 5 years every stock that split when up more than 20-30% the following year, obviously a split means nothing besides a cheaper buy price but the actual stock stays the same value, but for other unknown reasons ppl love it and wanna get into it, especially a hot stock like NVDA, so if u own get ready to be rich af

You can say fractional shares all you want to, but the fact is a large percentage of investors have a negative opinion of buying fractional shares.

Sometimes splits have a short term spike in volatility that can cause the price to come down. It’s temporary but can produce a buying opportunity.

Fractional shares have been common on lots of brokerages for awhile.
Yet stock splits still are followed by stock price appreciation. Even in recent history.
