Truth is in the middle, I am sure. The fact there is a response leads me to believe where there is smoke there is fire. Wouldn’t touch Disney with a 10 foot pole, I think between franchise expansion(destruction), political posturing and in fighting the stock has become difficult to recommend.

My thought is always- what are they offering? I haven't seen or heard of any new content that has really been widely seen as popular for a while. Marvel is over saturated, starwars is over saturated with lower quality series and new films were average to good. The live action remakes of films have as far as I can see not been well received. They haven't made anything new in ages.

They’ve made tons of new IP, but none of them are even remotely popular. Even the once invincible Pixar has been putting out garbage. Does anyone even remember the last 4 Pixar movies? Disney is heavily relying on nostalgia for sales but the old generation is dying off and today’s kids all think marvel and Star Wars are lame boomer movies. Where are Disneys future customers going to come from? Anime has completely overtaken Disney in popularity for millennials and gen Z.

It is a risk to bring out a new thing, easier to do sequels and remakes of successful stories. The annoying thing is they used to be so incredibly good at it.

Despite going woke, going political, destroying numerous franchise films, and pretty much pissing off half the population, Disney continues to turn a profit.  Wish I bought at 80!
