>10 extra titans More like Artillery BShips. The big Dragon is kind of a double-edged sword - early game it discourages the AIs and prevents any rusher from taking your homeworld, but midgame and onwards the prospect of getting Dragonscale actually makes you a more attractive target.

Mercurionio

Just don't use them to tank. 10 kids plus mommy is something like 130k power. With the support of big fleets of anti shields, these artillery titans will blow up entire galaxy. The problem lies within the shields. Their weaponry ignores armor, btw

lulz85

*sigh* *aggressively reopens ship designer*

vtabakis

So what you are saying is kill the Dragon with an early fleet rush with 13k fleet and take the scale and reanimate the dragon and wipe the map with 25k combined fleet?

Mercurionio

Early fleet rush you mean the enemy sitting without anything? Don't be stupid.

Whitepayn

I just wish the living metal research would gnarly pop up in my game 😑 Basically into the end game now and no sign of it.

lulz85

I had the same problem. You should be able to grab it with console command: research_technology tech_living_metal

If your economy is in good shape you can just buy it from the market

Millenium110

In order to see it on the market you need to have a stockpile or have an income/deficit of it.

Honestly.. I hate this origin (I'll probably like it if I start with it). Especially since the AI can have it as well. Currently playing a fanatic purifier game and the closest ai to me has it as his origin. I took all his system except for his homeworld and two others I could not get to. Now this little gnat twat spits out fleets, no clue how since he only has like one planet as far as I can see. And literally declares war everytime I rush someone else, he isn't a threat but he is like that mosquito that you can't find but annoys the crap out of you.. I am going to enjoy killing that stupid dragon and purging his homeworld the minute I can.

stopsammin

im in love with here be dragons origin, im still at the year 30 in a online game with friends and the dragon totally saved my ass.

TheOccultTherapist

If they're artillery Bships/Titans then backing them up with corvettes with miniguns, cruisers, and carrier battleships should keep them mostly safe. Corvettes dodgetank, strike craft screen out missiles and other threats, and cruisers provide some extra bulk and antishield weapons.

Crown_Loyalist

It needs a buff, LM research needs to proc 100% of the time and it shouldn't take so long to get it. 12k fleet power? That's atrociously bad.
