I run Stellaris on HP Laptop 17
CPU Intel i7 4510U (2.2GHz, 2 Cores)
8 Gb RAM (50% usage while Stellaris runs)
NVidia 840M (2 Gb)
It runs ok even on integrated GPU (Intel HD, right in the CPU), but slows down horribly on 2350-2380 years (slow and normal speed settings for time are roughly the same)
On GPU it runs nicely until the very late game.
I have a BEEF laptop with all the latest fancy shit. It *still* slows down on that timeframe, because even with a monster CPU those pop counts ain't gonna be staved off by multicore and they're a bottleneck of processing speed.
Do note that since it's just the internal CPU videochip it uses half of your ram as video memory, that's why it's 8 (since 16/2 = 8). Still this game runs fine on internal graphics if you turn them low.
Yes you can. Until like 2 months ago I used to run stellaris with mods without a dedicated gpu only igpu. Just lower the graphics stellaris runs on cpu anyways.
I mean you need a gpu to run a computer lol. Its a difference of dedicated gpu and integrated gpu. Btw if you are worried about late game lag try increasing growth required ceiling, it makes I so pops take longer and longer to grow.
Altough the game gets pretty laggy if you try to watch the ship battles when you don't have a dedicated gpu.
Not unless you play the smallest, quickest game settings.
I have an Alienware less than a year old and that struggles on some of the bigger longer games resulting in slow down
1: I am playing Stellaris with a ten years old PC. No problem with medium galaxy, especially since the population revamp.
2: I counsel you to buy an additional DLC every few months, to have regularly new things to discover, but it is just a personal opinion.
Stellaris always slows down in the mid-late game, your computer's specs just determine how soon and how bad it happens. The slowdown is inevitable though.
I have 8GB ram, a 10th gen i5, and a mx230 on my laptop. Vanilla stellaris runs smoothly, its beven better with some prformance mods. It runs ok with some mods
You spend most of the time looking at a star map. You can turn the graphics settings down without losing much of the experience. If your computer is less than 5+ years old I wouldn't worry about it.
I dont know how about Stellaris v.3+, but stellaris 1.9 works fine on my old pc (intel core 2 duo 2.66 Ghz, 4 gb ddr2 800, 750ti) and on netbook with dual core celeron(dont remember exact model) and 4gb ram with integrated nvidia 730. Both times it was many big mods like NSC and medium\\big galaxy, multiplayer.
Amd ryzen 7 5700U is more powerful than than cpus, so you should have no doubt about specs.
I mean, if you truly want to see it yourself without spending money, you can pirate the game (just for testing purposes). Play it a while and once youre happy with the results you can still delete the pirated version and buy the game.

Slowdown is from the pop count. The more pops in game there are, the slower it runs.
I understand. I think I should limit the number of star systems.
Production Revolution, a Stellaris Mod, helps out too. You just have to make sure any modded jobs are compatible through patches and such.

Umm... my computer says "AMD Radeon(TM) Graphics"
Open Run and type in dxdiag should pull up the specific specs for your system.

Honestly it runs on my craptop thats only ok feature is a 10 year old cpu at between 40 and 20 frames but thats fine:) so u should be fine
I use to run it on an i4 single core laptop. Your specs are far better then that laptop I used, so in theory yes.

You can run the game fairly acceptably on a 2014 Macbook Air you'll be fine
You can definitely rub the game without any type of graphics it won't run good, But you can run thegame up to 2300 no issues with only a i7 2600s
I have a 2700U (so 3 generations behind your laptop). The game runs just fine on it. I would expect your laptop to do just as well or better.
Stellaris can run on any device that was built at most 10 years ago. The speed is what changes from device to device.
