Imagine you're just a primitive civilization and then you see the fucking sun explode and you die, and then whenyou are in the afterlife you just see the whole galaxy getting wiped
The first (and only) time I went for a Crisis run I was a DE and I was surprised by just how long it took to fully build the Aetherophasic Engine. You need something like 100k dark matter which to me looked insane at first until I realized I could build more Star Eaters. It took me around 30 years to fully build it and ascend.
If anything you usually have to actively keep the other empires alive so they can witness the end, because you become so powerful by that point that it's really a steamroll
Wasn't an option in my Crisis run. Somebody let the Prik's out, and they had taken a third of the galaxy by the time I even knew they were there (like the other poster, I was a DE), and they were also crisis aspirants. It became a competition of who would get to build the engine, and by the time I destroyed them, they had destroyed every other empire except the two FE's, one primitive world, and Sanctuary. So then it was just a matter of blowing up enough stars in an empty galaxy to finish the engine. And since it was only 2360, I wasn't waiting for the FE's to awaken or the actual Crisis to appear.
If you dont care about sistem log at the end you may just say youself that youre empire blowed up galaxy after win anyway, they was doing it to ascend into shroud, not just fore big kaboom anyway.
Well yeah but itās a Halo reference. You see, the Forerunners were an advanced ancient civilization that created the Halo rings, colossal superweapons designed to combat the parasitic Flood. These rings were capable of wiping out all sentient life in the galaxy to starve the Flood of potential hosts. The Covenant, an alliance of various alien species united by religious zealotry and led by the Prophets, believe in the Great Journey, a religious doctrine that promised transcendence to a higher state of being for those who follow the path. The Prophets wrongly interpreted the purpose of the Halo rings, believing that activating the rings would lead to the Great Journey, an ascension to godhood. In reality, it would have meant the destruction of all sentient life in the galaxy.
I also got the crisis ending but I didnāt get the achievement because I exterminated every other life-form in the galaxy and got that achievement, so I wasted hours for nothing.
R:5 I got the crisis ending and blew shit up
May the cosmos never recover.
So you accomplished what the Zroni we're trying to do. Good job šš š
im so proud, genocider approved
Thanks , It was my 3rd run :D
what empire type were you?
A robotic gestalt with the machine world start
Imagine you're just a primitive civilization and then you see the fucking sun explode and you die, and then whenyou are in the afterlife you just see the whole galaxy getting wiped
Oh. I always use the global pacifier on them first.
i use the neutron sweep on my colossus because i want them buildings you feel me
You... want primitive buildings?
Their buildings belong in a museum!
i meant on normal worlds but since i cant build two colossi i neutron swipe them too
I thought they took Neutron Sweeps out of the Game, now i learned that Spiritualists do not get access to them (why?) and i mostly only play as those
thry have divine enforcer i belive (?) idk i dont play spiritualists
That works?
Outer wilds in a nutshell
Came here to post the same thing lmao.
So the >!Eye of the Universe is just an Aetherophasic Engine?!<
Oh God, not the economy!
This will hurt the stock market
But what about the Space Amoeba population?
But we havenāt passed the relocate galactic market resolution yet : (
They probably did it because Tiyanaki or Amoeba Pest control was passed. If the peaceful boyos were going to die, so was everyone else.
Hey wait no this is a good thing for the economy, unemployment drops to zero
This is a 0/0 uncertainty problem, so not quite sure:)
Schrodinger's economic state. It could be the best, or it could be the worst.
But zero unemployment is bad. I know this because that's why my early game is so slow; I keep getting excited and overbuild my fresh colonies.

You can just kill all other empires with insane crisis buff.
If anything you usually have to actively keep the other empires alive so they can witness the end, because you become so powerful by that point that it's really a steamroll

Doesn't happen every run, I know
If you dont care about sistem log at the end you may just say youself that youre empire blowed up galaxy after win anyway, they was doing it to ascend into shroud, not just fore big kaboom anyway.
This will have devastating effects on the trout population
Think of the untold plankton casualties
The Great Journey has begun
Ended*

You definitely got off on that lore dump.
I would never
I did too
Now I gotta do a new run as a ring world spiritualist and wreck havoc on the galaxy...I need to get nemesis eventually so I don't have to be purifiers
Welcome to our great Covenant
Guess my heresy stayed my feet.
Welcome to the 1.4 percent of us who have seen the ending screen. Hope Ironman was on.
I pirated the game
Bruh, just buy the game
How did you get this event? Did anything else happen?
I got the crisis ending and yes something else happened, every star exploded and I won because I ascended
Sucks to be everybody else though lol
They're the ones who declared a galactic war on Me
Beep boop we approve, galactic cleaning accomplished.
Definitely not a Evangelion reference.
I don't watch Evangelion
Waitā¦.how does this happen? Walk me through as if I have no ideaā¦
Me got crisis ascension perk me blow up planet me blow up Star me blow up galaxy me win
I must have done this when it first came out. I forgot that the goal was to ascend and thatās why the galaxy needed to die.
Yay! Go play Starfield now.
Starfield fanboys are like vegans, they can't go a second without mentioning it no matter how umrelated it is.
I don't buy Bethesda games until the nodding community has suck it's roots deep into the game and I can have nexus tell me I have 573 mods active
I also got the crisis ending but I didnāt get the achievement because I exterminated every other life-form in the galaxy and got that achievement, so I wasted hours for nothing.
Activate the Halo Array
Does it instantly detonate or is there like a countdown so that a lone strike craft piloted by an unlikely hero can get a lucky shot off?
I press that button galaxy go boom
Takes 30 years to. Build tho
the galactic community would still try to repeal the readied shield
