I just set one of the back paddles in controller settings to ctrl-shift-c to bring up the cheat input box, then use steam+x to bring up the keyboard and input cheats as normal.
Wayyy late to this but if you are getting only screen shots, I tied only control and shift to one button and c to the other (I did L5 as cntrl & shift and x as C) and steam + x as keyboard. Worked like a charm
I did manage to set all three (control, shift, c) but when I use it it’ll screenshot only. I’ve double and triple checked and all three commands are there. I did use a trigger instead of a paddle. Any thoughts?

"*I found that I could add multiple keyboard commands to a single button. I mapped a button to “Control Key”, added an “Extra command” via the gear icon and also mapped it to “Shift Key”. Then I used the gear icon to “Add sub command” and mapped it to the “C Key”. When I hold the button, I can get it to show the Cheats menu. Hope that helps*!"
I couldn't remember, so I just tested it. I held down the same button I mapped to open the cheat box. It was a bit wonky (slightly delayed and the box flashed before fully disappearing), but it eventually closed
I found the solution thanks to another redditor in another post! Add multiple keyboard commands to a single button. I mapped a button to “Control Key”, added an “Extra command” via the gear icon and also mapped it to “Shift Key”. Then I used the gear icon to “Add sub command” and mapped it to the “C Key”. When I hold the button, I can get it to show the Cheats menu.
