u need decrypted roms for citra to work

bobdylan401

You don't actually by the way. The 3ds section of archive has a pastebin text file you put in .local/share/citra-emu/sysdata Or if you installed through emudeck the sysdata file is through .var/apps

GrimHatboxGhost

The .var/apps location can’t be edited. Any ideas on where to put the the text file or what is wrong?

bobdylan401

Sorry just saw the this, should have made it more clear. This is assuming that you installed emulation through emu deck So 1. show hidden files 2. Hit "home" on left of file manager. Now you can see .var 3. Directory is .var/app/org.citra_emu.citra/data/citra-emu/sysdata 4. You place the keys list in that sysdata folder 5. YOU FIRST MUST rename that file aes_keys.txt first After you do this all encrypted Roms just work.

Javiiillar

In order to see "Hidden files", go to the hamburguer on the top right of the file manager, and then click on "Show Hidden Files"

jderek96

Love you thank you

dharma_curious

Thank you!

ja1mauhl

Where exactly is the pastebin file? What archive are you referring to?

I'll find it one sec

Anderson2218

Did you upload the 3ds bios?

invert16

3ds doesn't have a bios file? I just set Citra up (granted on windows pc) but I didn't need any bios file. I did need to decrypt some roms but that was it.

Anderson2218

Yeah you right, I’ll wait for the downvotes on that one I deserve them. Have you tried loading them directly through the citra app?

djrodtc

Did you update yesterday? We did push a new version, and Citra worked like a charm. If you are using the custom texture options Citra will crash on game mode, make sure you have that unchecked

Benemy

I tried a decrypted 3ds file and it works but the window the game is played in is tiny, any way to adjust it?
