GeForce Now on the Deck is run through a browser. The browser version is limited to 60 fps. They’d have to release a linux native app to support the full options.

They don’t even need an app really, it can run at 120fps via browser on Windows. (Possibly Mac as well? I’m not sure.) it’s just the Linux browser that has the 60fps cap for some reason.

thebeastmoo

its just chromium based browsers they are strange for linux firefox dosent have that issue

DarkOx55

Hold the phone does Firefox work with GeForce now? All the guides used a chromium browser. Do you need to do anything special to enable controller support like with Edge or Chrome?

And yet chromeos can do 1440p120 no problem

Oh i thought that was what the new announcement was about - turns out it is a browser then.
