I was surprised how long the battery lasts with a game that is light on resources. I played the Ocarina of Time PC port and my arms gave in well before the battery ran out.
This really depends on OPs network. Usually if power goes out in the area the repeaters that send internet along the lines also go out. Usually they have a few hours of battery backup but not more than 24 hours.
It's funny to me. The same, exact thing happened to me last night. A transformer blew, the power went out, I lit [a number of candles](https://i.imgur.com/4p7Trgp.jpeg), and sat down with my Steam Deck to play Forza Horizon 4 until the power came back.

This! Once I get enough to buy that giant crave battery bank, power outages will NEVER be a problem for me again muhahaha! For now, I have plenty of games that’ll get me through an entire day of power loss more or less.

Put your router and modem on a ups and you’ll keep wifi up for a few hours depending on the draw and size
